This is absolutely not a pussypassdenied, the video specifies that every charge against her for this incident were dismissed.

I’ve heard that one, though there’s no further detail given on what constitutes “contesting” custody, so it could be as simple as 90% of fathers not caring about their kids (unfuckinglikely) or way more complicated, such as fathers proving in court that the mothers are abusive or on drugs or otherwise unfit to be primary custodians of the children. It’s too broad and undefined to be taken too seriously, especially considering I could easily counterpoint that fathers only gain custody of children…

It really doesn’t matter. You don’t own images of yourself just because you’re in the image. That’s not how life works. If you frame a picture of you with your tits out and give it to someone as a gift, you no longer have any legal claim to that picture just because you want it back later. It now belongs to the other person. Edit: for the record I’d say the exact same thing if someone was dumb enough to give a bunch of dick pics to their wife and then wanted them back later too. Tough cookies, d…

You do realize there’s an actual legal precedent that states that a child needs their mother more than they need their father, and that’s why courts favor the mother in divorce custody issues, right? That’s literally step one to understanding the problem, and if you don’t even know that much then you’re woefully underequipped to be part of the discussion.

Here’s a fun fact. Even if he was the asshole and abused her and cheated or whatever drove the divorce, he’s still legally entitled to his property regardless of how it makes anyone feel. So your whole issue with not knowing the full story means absolute shit in a legal setting.

You didn’t answer the question. If he bought the ring and gave it to her, why does she own the ring during the divorce any more than the other way round? Spousal gifts belong to the spouse receiving said gift. There’s no such thing as takebacksies because you don’t like them anymore.

Incorrect, you do not in fact own most images of you. Facebook could sell your profile picture to be featured on a porn pop-up ad, and you can’t do anything about it because you agreed upon signing up that Facebook owns every photo you give them. Same goes for Instagram, or any other social media platform. The image’s content does not establish ownership of the image itself. Therefore if the guy has a photo album somewhere that she gave him at one point, and she took it back, he’s entitled to le…

That’s already every movie featuring a female lead, because Hollywood has no idea how to tell a good story about a capable female lead without turning it into a generic “overcoming patriarchal tyranny” trope.

Right, the “why are you so defensive?” or “found the smol penis incel” reply is just locked and loaded no matter what you might say, which is why I’ve never gotten into it despite wanting to say something before.

There’s an actual book dedicated to teaching women how to exploit men to advance themselves professionally, featuring tips on how to flirt with male coworkers to coax them into responding in kind so you can accuse them of inappropriate behavior to advance above them to get that promotion, etc.

This guy’s voice and inflection and cheeky attitude remind me so much of Disparu on YT, it could almost be the same guy. Glad he was able to walk after the film was reviewed.

Jesus Christ dude You know there have been dozens of female heads of state in other countries already for years, right? And none of them have launched insane wars over hormones.

What exactly is the appeal to setting oneself up in that sub? I’ve never understood what people get out of it. My self esteem needs all the help it can get

Since when is the metric for deciding I “can’t” afford something judged on the basis of everything I choose not to buy? I wanted Mcdonalds this morning, but I’m trying to eat healthy so I didn’t. Does that mean I can’t afford Mcdonalds? Because I chose not to buy it? Because it sure looks as if my rent is paid and I’m still fed. That’s the stupidest logic I’ve ever heard.

You never see female teachers being called what they are - pedophiles. Media very carefully words their articles to avoid inflammatory (accurate) language like this unless they’re referring to males.

Idk my last job my manager was a female and she was petty as fuck and would pair up workers she thought should date and give shit jobs to workers who got on her bad side and openly admitted to it with things like “don’t piss me off if you don’t like working graveyard shifts then.” I couldn’t leave that job fast enough. So unprofessional.

The other problem is that the definition of Nazi is used to loosely nowadays that it can basically be used to describe almost anything you don’t like, which would then justify you using violence very quickly against just about anyone.

See I feel like that’s not true. Women are just as capable of going to the movies, as seen in the massive box office numbers for movies like Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey, or generic Nicholas Sparks romance movie #9, etc. They just don’t seem interested in being overtly pandered to. Also something about those movies just seems so inherently negative or vicious because the mindset of the producers comes out in the movie itself, so maybe it just puts people off.

Actually a fun fact in support of that, the top paid female model makes more than the top ten male models combined. Is that sexism at play?
/r/PussyPassDenied08/02/22 03:20 AM

Totally valid point, I would say those movies are borderline for me, because on the one hand the “poor minority vs evil rich white people” narrative is done to death in those movies and I roll my eyes the whole time. But they’re also a guilty pleasure movie just for the atmosphere of an entire city imploding on itself like the worst Halloween imaginable. I think those movies are great examples of great concepts with poor execution. The movies did do pretty well, at least the earlier ones (the la…

My SO very much considers herself a feminist and we had a long discussion once wherein she was saying that women in the WNBA make so little compared to the NBA because of sexism, and my counterpoint was that sports aren’t sexist, they’re capitalist: if your sport brings in the views and the money and the ad revenue and the ticket sales and the hype and demand, those athletes will be able to demand higher salaries. But because women don’t support their own, women’s sports tends to suffer because …

That’s because if you make a movie with a “fuck this demographic in particular” mindset, no matter whether it be men or white people or black people or anything, people are going to see right through the thin veneer of toxicity driving the producers and nobody will support that. When you prioritize an underlying agenda ahead of writing an actual good movie, the sales will reflect the mistake. Side observation: the female demographic makes up 50% of the population. If they really cared about thes…
