Studies do show that having a high number of previous sexual partners is more strongly correlated with infidelity in women than men.

Ah yes, watching porn makes people anal rapists. Got it.

I think so. When you’re born ugly you grow up to be bitter and resentful. When you’re attractive you become confident and positive.

The bios and pictures were rated independently by different judges. No halo effect could occur.

In an online dating study, physically attractive people wrote bios that were rated as more attractive, even when the bios and pictures were evaluated independently, by different judges [1].

Yes, that's literally what this thread is about.

Fine, 35% of heterosexual couples met online in 2019, big difference. Still more common than meeting at a bar or restaurant (28%), or through friends (20%).

We all come from the genetics, but that doesn't mean genes are inherited or expressed the same in the sexes. Consider the Trivers–Willard hypothesis: Whenever parents have any trait that they can transmit that their children that are better for boys, than for girls, they will have more boys. Whenever parents have any trait that they can transmit that their children that are better for girls, than for boys, they will have more girls - And indeed, beautiful parents have more daughters

I think it worthwhile to know about, considering 40% of heterosexual couples met online in 2020.

The water is not wet argument depends on the definition used. There are plenty of definitions of "wet" wherein water would qualify. - Dictionary.com: in a liquid form or state - Merriam-webster: consisting of, containing, covered with, or soaked with liquid (such as water)

The context is online dating, and that's how 40% of heterosexual couples met online [11] in 2020. Yes, it isn't representative of the entire population, but I believe it is by far the best research we have on the topic.

Exactly. Things like Tinder matches are more equally distributed amongst women, whereas men face a larger inequality than the income distribution of 95% of countries.

To quote the article: Now, you can reasonably make the argument that online dating paints a distorted view of reality. The problem however, is that online dating makes up a significant portion of reality. In fact, about 40% of heterosexual couples met online [11] in 2020. It is true that choice overload causes women to become “increasingly likely to reject potential partners, while for men this effect was either weaker, similar, or not significant.” [12]. That being said, women are still more se…

Well, I didn't say it was different. I said it was a more sophisticated take. That is, going more in depth than just "women rate men lower than men rate woman", by showing exactly how different men and women rate each other, and what this does to the "attractiveness distribution".

Women pursue men they consider worse looking than themselves. Yes, women rate men very harshly on looks, but then decide to date them anyways.

Yup, quoting the article: “female members were significantly less influenced by the consensus physical attractiveness of their potential dates than male members were” [3]. There's also the Trivers–Willard hypothesis: Whenever parents have any trait that they can transmit that their children that are better for boys, than for girls, they will have more boys. Whenever parents have any trait that they can transmit that their children that are better for girls, than for boys, they will have more gir…

I stand corrected. The article does show however, that inequality is not the same for men and women.

PUA is known academically as "mating intelligence" and there's plenty of research on the topic. Using the search term "the red pill" obviously gives garbage search results like the one OP posted.

Men start outnumbering women from half-marathons and up. Both sources confirm this. I never said anything about men outnumbering women overall.

That’s kind of like saying LeBron James has a harder time winning basketball games than me. Yes that’s technically true, but only because he is playing against professionals whereas I’m just playing against friends. Attractive women don’t have harder time dating, they just have higher standards.

Women outnumber men in every age group of endurance running. It only gets close when you start getting into Ultra Marathons Not really. Men start outnumbering women from half-marathons and up. By the marathon the ratio is over 2 : 1 male to female. [1], [2]

Incorrect. The term "Alpha male" has been used in academics for over 50 years. It is used in over 500 research papers on PubMed, and yields over 20 000 results on Google Scholar. The video OP wrote about, talks about David Mech like he is somehow the authority on "alpha male science", despite the fact that the concept existed in science at least 20 years before he ever wrote about it.

If US women were more obsessed with height, you’d expect the average height to be higher compared to the UK. This is not the case. If anything, UK people are actually slightly taller on average. Research has shown that mate preferences does indeed impact average height, for instance, scientists have shown through genetic research that Dutch men are the tallest in the world because that’s what Dutch women prefer. And so since US people are of equal (if not shorter) height than UK people, that is …

What constitutes dating differs from person to person, but a truck is not a van in anyone's eyes. Women's advice depends upon what makes them look more favorable. They're typically concerned with not appearing slutty, and so interpret dating questions in non-promiscuous ways. It's a lot more fashionable to say you're attracted to kind-hearted guys, than to say you like having sex with fuckboys.
