Don’t drink alcohol if you’re serious about finding a serious man. I picked losers all my 20’s and early 30’s and realized I was the problem bc I was drinking a lot and turning a blind eye to a ton of red flags. They call them beer goggles for a reason and I didn’t realize how badly this affected my “picker” when it came to choosing men.

I learned the hard way when I was young. Drugged by a bartender twice. Boy was I stupid. But lucky, I knew I was feeling woozy/weird and got out of that scary situation

Or we’re labeled bitches cunts bc we say no and don’t tolerate them steamrolling us. I’ll never Forget a guy I went on one date with was going around town calling me a cunt. I told him straight up that we weren’t a good fit, and he had the balls to trash talk me around town! What a loser. A man with zero self-respect or respect for others. Glad I got rid of that one fast

Yep I totally did this with men that I wasn’t in love or really into. Wish I read my own red flags 😱

Such a good point about older men. Age means nothing in terms of a man having his shit together, emotional maturity, financial independence, etc.

I had a guy once do this to me and I was in utter shock that he had the balls to ask for money back on crappy pizza and a salad that was maybe 40 bucks 😱

Omg you’re right. I dated a nut job who stalked me, attacked me, and damaged my business bc I left him and his eyes where “scary” to say the least when tension was high. I now realized instead of feeling weird, I actually felt terror. I’m kinda mad at myself for not making that realization until now. But so happy I’m far far away from that scary human and in a healthy relationship with a good man.

Awe so happy to hear you met an amazing man!! I met my amazing man too after I started taking care of myself. He too was on a simile path of healing, self reflection, openness, and so happy I made the shift of really figuring out who I was and my needs.

Oh doll you’re young! I wasted my 20’s and early 30’s on losers, had an emotional breakdown, got sober, started looking inward, healing, and finally learning who I was an what I wanted. Happy to report I’m 36 now and met the man of my dreams and only did bc I became a HVW myself! We can’t attract a king until we become a queen loves! I believe in you & please keep working on yourself!

I can’t believe your friend let a man do that. How embarrassing. I once went out with a guy who once said “ nice dinners are only for birthdays.” I left him the next day. He’s still single and always telling me “I made a mistake leaving him, lmao!”

Omg what a pos your parents and he is for saying that. If a man valued, respected, and cherished you, those words would never come out of his mouth. Do yourself a favor, find a lawyer, figure out a way out of this relationship, and move forward in your life without him. There are good people out there, I swear. Do you really want to life feeling like you’re not good enough? Life is short, do you really want to spend a lifetime with someone that treats you so poorly? Think hard

I can’t imagine waking up one day to the man I marry and finding out he’s a pedo. I’d lose my shit and go Lorena Bobbit on his ass!! My heart goes out to this lady. Hope she actually does something

What a sick man. This is unforgivable. Get a good lawyer and run as fast as you can. I’m happy you figured this out now. I’m so sorry

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
