You have to buy/learn the software and become good at CAD to make anything above mediocre. 3D printing is, and will be a niche in the future consumer market. The skills and expertise required to make a fully fledged doll are immense. Not everyone can do it. I think only specialists with a good base in this area would be able to do something with it; which is very few people.
