4	Double standards in sports I'm a fairly athletic female, play on a coed deck hockey team. Nothing too serious, just intramural. Generally, the men are better than the girls for whatever reason but the key is to not treat people differently based on gender, just on skill. I think my team is great at that. Whenever one of the girls gets knocked down by a dude, a hush falls over the crowd because she will either freak out and accuse a guy of playing rough or get up and get over it.
