Usually by getting banned. It just happened to me yesterday actually. Got a permanent ban from r/news for saying the twoxchromosomes sub was an example of femcels. You wouldn’t think a sub about news articles would be populated by screeching feminist misandry, but it is. There are so few places in the world for men to feel safe anymore….

As a gay man, I experience more discrimination from feminists than the non-existent “patriarchy”.

Almost all of them are staged so badly that you can tell in the first five seconds. But yeah, it would be grounds to have them arrested for sexual assault.

Pyramid schemes end horribly for the top 50% once the bottom 50% stops being part of the system.

And the definition of what “emotional labour” is changes not just from person to person, but also based on what definition suits them best at that time. Honestly if I had a dollar for every time I saw a woman online use the term “emotional labour” to claim that she’s doing more “work” in a relationship or with friends or family, I’d probably have enough money to fund a study that disproves it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates05/01/24 03:23 AM

Honestly if you read through the comments on the other thread, you can see clear as day the agenda. It’s “paint men as the bad guys” and “PaTrIaRcHyTM”. The people on that sub aren’t worth talking to, because they’re so mind-numbingly convinced that men are the problem that they can’t even conceive of an instance where they aren’t.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/01/24 08:00 PM
21

I wouldn’t necessarily agree with the premise regarding emotions either. In a relationship, who’s typically seen as “the rock”? The one who is stable and supports the other one. Men.

Almost like child support is a system predicated on slavery, primarily of men.

That doesn’t change the fact we have video evidence of her assaulting him and him just trying to get away.
/r/MensRights20/12/23 05:58 PM

It actually is. For someone to admit to having preconceptions that they actively overcame is far better than pretending they don’t exist.

I think the biggest female privilege is the ability to commit crimes and not only do they not face any consequences, often people still treat them like the victims.
/r/MensRights15/12/23 11:53 PM

Nah, fuck her. We’re not going to fix gender discrimination by letting it happen unchallenged. Report it, even if it’s just so when the next guy files a similar report, there’s a history.
/r/MensRights13/12/23 04:45 AM

There’s a contradiction. You can’t simultaneously not be a misandrist while also believing in patriarchy theory, rape culture, the wage gap, or systemic violence or oppression against women. To accept these things even though all the evidence points to the contrary, suggests that the person hates men.
/r/MensRights13/12/23 02:07 AM
74

It’s because women’s sexuality is something to be explored and celebrated. Men’s sexuality, regardless of what kind, is shameful and disgusting. It’s entirely a double standard, and it’s wrong. It’s why gay men face more persecution, abuse and discrimination than lesbians. It’s why many women openly identify as bisexual even if they aren’t, while many bisexual men identify as straight because it’s “easier” that way.
/r/MensRights10/12/23 09:17 PM
40

I think this sums it up nicely. And while feminists are the cause of some of the underlying problems, they’re not entirely to blame. But every time anyone even attempts to bring up systemic issues men face, “but women” is the first thing to be said to derail the conversation. I wish they would stop being the cause of some issues. And even if they aren’t, I wish they would at least step out of the way of progress.
/r/MensRights07/12/23 10:49 PM
31

That’s the thing. If society no longer needs women to reproduce, once the technology becomes accessible, they lose a lot of their social capital. Women will lose a lot of the power they hold very quickly, and they won’t like that. It’ll be something that’s very strongly fought against.

Not that this is an indication of anything, but they did it one year on Survivor too. Both the men and women were on the same beach, so they had access to the same resources. The men had a wonderful fire, shelter, water, food. The women would essentially just beg the men for help all the time.
/r/MensRights28/11/23 09:54 PM

A doctor could easily tell that a woman is some 5 months along on her first visit. Have the decision time for the man be anywhere from a few weeks to a couple months from the first doctor’s visit. If that screws the woman from her abortion window, sucks to be the one who waited to go to the doctor. She can always give it up to adoption if she doesn’t want to be a single parent.
/r/MensRights28/11/23 02:26 AM

Almost all women see an OBGYN during pregnancy, and doctors are already mandatory reporters for cases of child abuse and neglect. Making them mandatory reporters for other things wouldn’t be very difficult.
/r/MensRights28/11/23 02:21 AM
18

The same as an abortion, you put deadlines on it. And to avoid entrapment, have mandatory reporting. Women should be forced to tell the other person they’re pregnant with their potential child. And once men opt out, have it be permanent. No flip flopping without making it legal.
/r/MensRights28/11/23 01:25 AM
20

I completely agree. Pro-choice should be for everyone, and that includes men. Men should be allowed to completely opt out the same as women.

Actually I’m Canadian, and I’m talking about the occupation and terrorizing of the city of Ottawa for weeks by right wing lunatics. By policies, I mean the ones that the right wing provincial governments are trying to push in schools that will kill children (disproportionately boys) and expose them to abuse. And your poor attempt at climate denialism is just another example of why the right wing can’t be trusted.
/r/MensRights26/11/23 04:55 PM
31

“Name calling and assumptions” lol. They actively push for policies that kill people like me. They deny climate change even exists. They’re corporate shills who try to concentrate the wealth to themselves and their donors while actively neglecting the rest of society. They actively stoke fear and hatred in their rabid supporters. They actively support the heinous people who’ve terrorized our citizens and society, and occupied our capital for weeks while attempting a coup. There’s lots of reasons…
/r/MensRights26/11/23 04:44 PM
31

Because I also don’t hate women. Voting left might not be perfect, but voting right is truly awful. The right wing is filled with lunatics that will hurt everyone, and that includes men. I tend to vote for a Center-left party, where they completely shut down the right wing, but they’re also not the feminist crazed left.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Personally, I still think Kavanaugh was guilty. Just because there wasn’t enough evidence to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt, doesn’t mean it’s not likely it happened. And just like there’s not enough evidence to definitively prove he did it, there’s no proof she made it up. If you’re going to argue innocent until proven guilty, that works for her too.

The difference is physical strength can be objectively measured. “Empathy” is a social construct subject to lots of different biases. If you’re so certain women are more empathetic, why does the empathy gap exist? Why do women not feel empathy for men?

Technically, if you really want to account for all rapes and sexual assaults, women and girls account for maybe 1%. That’s an extremely controversial fact, but it’s a fact nonetheless

How so many men who committed suicide did in fact seek treatment from mental health professionals and consistently get labeled as low risk, and why is it that our mental health professionals consistently fail and mistreat men when they ask for help. How our mental health programs simply aren’t designed for men’s needs.
/r/MensRights12/11/23 02:52 AM

There’s also the fact that it’s not something that’s easy to get statistics on. Because the majority of accusations are inconclusive in court and not “proven false”, it’s not like we can prove statistically even if it’s “likely” a false accusation. Mix in that most rape accusations never see a court room and that most false accusations end up being part of the rumour mill, and it’s not something that can be quantified. If each and every accusation was recorded, even something just said in passin…

Imagine actually having the gall to refer to oneself as a Ringwraith like it’s a good thing, and not evil incarnate. Although the analogy is apt considering you can’t get rid of them and their corrupting influence.

At that point it would be easier to adopt or find a surrogate if you really want kids. Again, if a woman’s worth can be replaced with masturbaiting and an incubator, then she doesn’t have any value. If 63% of men are choosing to be single, then women need to increase their value enough to be worth dating.
/r/MensRights30/10/23 11:15 PM

If masturbating takes care of everything you need from a woman, then there’s not much value of being in a relationship with a woman.
/r/MensRights30/10/23 10:40 PM

I agree. Accepting a claim without investigating it is negligent at best and malicious at worst. And you could easily point that out to someone higher up that this is easy lawsuit territory. OP should bring that up to her boss and try to get her fired for her poor work performance.

Conservatism hasn’t been about traditional values in a long time. Look at any of the Conservative politicians in the west, and you can see it’s about acquiring and maintaining their affluence and power by controlling society, usually at the whim of big corporations that give them “donations”.

And without an ounce of self awareness, she posted about it looking for sympathy because she thought he was in the wrong.
/r/MensRights17/10/23 02:17 PM

I think the gist is that feminists hurt men by trying to wield society against men to discriminate against us and create a system that oppresses men, while conservatives create a system that oppresses everyone including men, in favour of the already obscenely wealthy and powerful. And by switching from one side to the other, we essentially get the same result both ways, a system where men are oppressed.
/r/MensRights16/10/23 11:51 PM
21

That’s the first thing I thought of too. And if a behaviour is subject to wildly subjective interpretation to be considered “harassment”, then you can’t call it harassment. Just look at all the gym videos where women try to catch men “staring” to try to shame them when they barely even glanced in their general direction. The bar for what a lot of women consider “harassment” is way too low.

You’re trying to play devil’s advocate too hard when the judge already ruled against you. In case you didn’t realize, there was a trial already. The facts came out. And the facts are that he’s not guilty and they lied.

I’ve mostly had female management in all my jobs, and there’s no difference in my experience with male or female management. Some are good, some are bad. I do find that women tend to be a bit more gossipy or cliquey on occasion, but in general there’s no big difference
/r/MensRights09/10/23 08:14 PM

I think it was downvoted for the “women are forced” part. No one forces women to have children. And I’m sure everyone would likely be happier if men and women did contribute equally through work and their careers. But blaming men or discrimination for women’s choices is bound to leave a bitter taste in people’s mouths.

And men who are bi still tend to end up in relationships with women, whereas women who are bi don’t seem to favour men. Another example of how homophobia impacts men more than women.

It’s because if he wasn’t the problem, she has to admit that she was part of the reason the relationship failed. And no woman is ever going to admit she’s part of the problem.

Psychology is a STEM field, and I have my degree in psych. But I definitely noticed that the different fields of psych are more or less susceptible to influence. The statistical research, neuro and behavioural tend to be fairly consistent. Social psych, and gender psych is basically dominated by feminist ideology.

Not only are there more female child abusers (and that includes sexual abuse) than male ones, more than half of male rapists have reported being sexually abused by a woman in their childhood.

Psychology is one of the worse fields for gender bias. You’d think the field that discovered the “women are wonderful” effect would be more aware of it. There’s also the issue that +80% of Psych students are women too.

It might be better to rename it to something along the lines of “unproven allegation registry”. Then list people by category of if they had proven false allegations, recanted their story, if they have a history of multiple reports, etc… Just because proving a negative is extremely difficult, doesn’t mean a pattern of behaviour isn’t evidence.

That’s the thing. Comparatively, women are paid much higher than the men. They bring in much less money, but are given a bigger percentage. It actually proves that they’re being overpaid, not underpaid.

Yup. Whether or not a man’s actions is considered positive or creepy depends on how attractive he is. That’s not even an exaggeration. And it’s not even like it’s a good lie. They’ve done experiments and the amount of women who prefer the super muscular Chris Hemsworth-like body over an average man is 100%. And for anyone who’s into research and statistics, getting 100% on any statistic is almost impossible. That’s how bad it is.

Based on the short transcript someone else posted, it sounds like he told her to stop and get off of him first. If anything the audio would suggest she was the rapist.

Completely unrelated but funny story, the most popular and highest selling Barbie doll ever created was a Ken doll, colloquially known as “Cock ring Ken”. Because the company that made and designed the dolls didn’t understand that men’s popular fashion at the time was gay men literally attaching their cock rings to their clothes to both subtly show they were gay, and also what position they were. The company tried recalling all the dolls they could, but they sold so quickly that it broke records…

Don’t keep things in documents unless you have to. Keep the actual emails and screenshot chats. Get recordings if you can. And keep copies of everything on a personal device. You’re 18, you have a lot of life ahead of you and you’ll learn to get out of this mindset. Being a new adult is…. A very difficult transition period, stick it out and talk to people about it. I will tell you this though, as a gay man who’s uncut myself, I don’t really care if my partner is cut or uncut. And a majority of people don’t really care about it. Frankly, sometimes cut guys are easier to suck.

Exactly. Who cares if most people in power are men when that represents 0.00001% of the population? It’s the Apex fallacy. Just give them the “most violence against black people are from other black people” and watch them call you a racist. Then turn it back on them because they just did the same thing to men, and show them they’re hypocritical and sexist.

The wage gap isn’t real in its original sense. A man and a woman will make the same salary or hourly rate if their situation is the same. Men do earn more money on average than women, but it’s because they on average work longer hours, take less time off, work more dangerous jobs, seek promotions and raises, and are more career oriented. So it’s not a gap in wages, but a gap in earnings. What people also consistently fail to mention though, is that on average women also make 80% of purchases in …

You missed for leverage. There’s actually a famous criminal case I wrote a paper on in university where a woman claimed rape against her husband during the process of divorce, because she wanted custody of the kids. There were a lot more details to the case, but that’s what it boiled down to.

And it’s so easy to spot. Also as a gay guy, any mlm relationship in tv, movies, books, or any other media that isn’t written by a gay guy can be spotted from a mile away. It’s like they think gay relationships are the exact same as straight ones except it’s just two guys

Men are already ambassadors for the field, and whenever I’ve talked to a man in childcare or childhood education, it’s been a resounding “Don’t”. It specifically implies a generalization. Because whenever the term is used, it’s not used in the context of predators, it’s used to talk about how all men view and look at women. It literally generalizes all men. The term “male gaze” is problematic in its entirety. And yeah, women can 100% be predators and do skate by without scrutiny for the same behaviour that would be condemned in a man. But both of these things are two separate problems.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/02/23 10:09 PM
21

“Male gaze” is also rather a telling term, isn’t it? It implies that if a man is looking at you that he’s sexualizing you or only looking at you for your body. It implies all men are perverts and predators who are always after their next “meal”. It’s incredibly dehumanizing.

I’ve been saying this about the MMIWG investigations and hearings for years. Why does a small minority of victims always get so much more attention than the huge majority of victims? Same thing with the “stop targeting female reporters” rhetoric and the UK’s “random violence against women” pushback. It seems men are always victims more often but it’s never acknowledged.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/02/23 06:47 PM
32

IMO that’s not the right boundary to enforce. It should be “I have every right to talk, socialize and be friends with other women”. It’s abuse 101 to isolate your victim from everyone else. Women enforcing the “you’re not allowed to talk to other women” thing is 100% abusive, and this needs to be pointed out more.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/02/23 02:08 AM

I think the big part is that typically the loudest people are the most unreasonable. Anyone who says “there’s no good men left” always seems to have the standard that a “good man” is someone who will serve them and provide for them in every way, and be happy getting nothing in return. Anyone worth dating won’t have that mentality.

I was going to go to grad school in psych, but dear lord is the conversation and culture in academia dominated by women, especially in psychology. Just as a couple notes, first, you’ll want to stay away from loaded or leading terms like “incel” and “manosphere”. Terms like that tend to bias some of the responses which will impact your results. Second, a few of your questions require prior knowledge that people might not have that are geographically based. Having a question that some people might get wrong because they aren’t familiar with one specific part of the world makes it a bad question.

As a tack on to this, there’s also a big gender problem in gaming where men don’t really expect anything from other people, but some women seem to expect others to accommodate them and bend over backwards to ingratiate themselves to them. I like going in r/rpghorrorstories because you get a lot of entertainment out of it sometimes. You see horror stories about both men and women for their poor behaviour at a table, whether virtual or real life. But I have yet to find a single story where a spous…

I feel like another point is that with a lot of characters, even when they do get to their power fantasy stage, it’s because they went through a long journey of growth to get there. But with feminist focused female characters, they don’t have that journey because to portray a female character as weak or inexperienced is “anti-feminist”, so they need to start out perfect. That’s the point where they’ve missed the plot entirely, because they just botched the point of the story. I think the most eg…

This might be a childish analogy, but this is exactly the lesson behind the story of the rainbow fish. If men are constantly self sacrificing for “society” -which most often reads as women, then men just end up losing every bit of themselves. It’s not good or healthy for men to constantly be expected to self sacrifice.

My experiences differed a lot because I switched majors after a few years. The first two I was in one of the pure sciences, and had a great time. The content was more difficult, but in general I feel like everyone had been treated equally. Professors trended male, but I had some female professors too. I only left because my program mandated a 40% fail rate for students, and I thought that was BS. After I switched, I had a double major in psych and philosophy. The tone of each class depended on b…

That’s what first came to mind when I was reading the post. It seems male nudity is split into two categories, creepy and disgusting, or display of female dominance. But generally female nudity is either female empowerment or male depravity.

This graph is just terrible. I hate how they separated different regions. I mean what is “developed countries” supposed to mean? Not only is it lumping in countries from very different situations, but it implies every other region isn’t developed. But what they consider “unpaid labour” is not only unreliable self-reports, but also the definition is narrowed to only include female-coded tasks. Even then, I can’t imagine needing 4 hours a day to do household tasks unless you have children to take …

In that case, the woman’s bodily autonomy is the same as the fetus. Since the fetus’s autonomy doesn’t supersede the woman’s, the fetus would have to be removed. The fetus then dies from not having proper organs to sustain itself. This is more akin to not donating an organ to a family member. It would be nice if you did it, but you have no responsibility to do it. Trying to say this is “abdicating responsibility”, would mean you’re pro- forced birth, which is barbaric and a clear violation of hu…

There’s a distinction that needs to be made. Choosing to have an abortion is taking responsibility for a consequence. Choosing to tell someone you don’t want a child and have no intention of being a parent, legal or otherwise, is also taking responsibility. If the other person still chooses to have a child after that decision is made, then that choice is that person’s responsibility alone. So yes, I believe people should be free from the consequences and responsibility of other people’s choices.

Being pregnant is a consequence. Going through with the pregnancy, giving birth, and keeping the child is a choice, one where both individuals should have a choice in. What the government shouldn’t do, is regulate anyone’s choices regarding their personal autonomy when it doesn’t impact anyone else’s.

I’ll try a hypothetical to see where you stand on it. If you chose to drink to the point of being over the legal limit, and then someone forced you to drive at gunpoint, would you still be charged with drunk driving? You consented to getting drunk but you weren’t consenting to drive, which means you should still have a valid defence. The “having a child” consent works the same way. Consent to sex and consenting to having a child are two separate and very different choices. If one person (the mom…

It’s crab mentality. People thought men shouldn’t have the same rights as women and dragged them down. Now it’s backfired and women are the ones being dragged down. Equal rights were going to happen, it’s unfortunate it was for the worse and not the better.

A lot of those women are just as bad as they claim men are, but they think it’s ok because they’re women. The worst part is that their behaviour keeps being encouraged and anyone saying that it’s not appropriate instantly gets labeled sexist.

Women can’t generally be made to penetrate because most don’t have a penis. So by not including “made to penetrate”, you’re essentially removing exclusively male victims from the definition of “rape”.

I think the difference is that no one has any issue with women gossiping and sharing all of men’s private life, but when men do it it’s seen as “locker room talk” and seen as a universally negative thing that bad people do. It’s generally a double standard that protects women and condemns men for the same thing

When I got my degree, it was maybe 15-20% men. In some of my classes it was as low as 5% men. There’s more women in any stem field than men in psychology. And women are starting to dominate the narrative. That’s the thing about privilege, some people think “X person has privilege” and that it means that person has no problems and can’t relate to anyone else. They then stop trying to relate to that person, and it leads to a lack of communication and then animosity. Literally yesterday I had made a comment on a post about how men should be allowed to show emotion without being judged or shamed. A woman replied that, in her experience, men aren’t judged about anything and women have it so much worse. It had devolved to the point where she used a line I’m betting we’ve all heard too often “you only bring up men’s issues to take away from women’s issues”, where I had to remind her that the literal topic of conversation and the post was about men not being give…

Agreed. I have a psych degree, and in a lot of my classes the men were outnumbered anywhere from 4:1 to 20:1. Additionally, there’s a lot of things that were taught that I knew were complete nonsense from a gender psychology standpoint but god knows if I were to have spoken up about any of it, I would’ve been removed from the class and made into a pariah, if not worse.

Additionally, because psychology is a field heavily dominated by women these days, finding a therapist who’s a man is very difficult. And as much as they might try not to, there’s a lot of unconscious bias that women have against men. So the amount of help men get from therapists who are women might not be to the level that it should be.

Essentially that. Logically, it’s impossible for the number of sexual offences to be committed by women to be less than 0.5% without selectively omitting that specific data. At this point it’s so common for people to do this, and every time you look into the research for even a minute you find that their data pool was corrupted before they even started.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/03/22 10:34 PM

That when they came up with the “women account for 0% of sexual offences” statistic, they only got to that number because they simply didn’t include sexual offences committed by women in that statistic.

It’s not even a rounding error, it’s a methodological error. They decided to figure out the number of female perpetrators without counting any women. It’s like counting the number of female inmates in a male prison, they’re choosing the results. Anyone actually serious about publishing proper research would’ve shot this down on sight. It’s a shame that finding people without an insane bias is becoming more and more difficult.

This is just a personal observation, so take it with a grain of salt. But try giving dating men a shot. In general, I’ve found that most of my friends in straight relationships are in terrible relationships where they both abuse each other to some extent (although typically the women are worse than the men). And most of my gay and bi friends also have problems from time to time, but they’re in generally healthier relationships with better communication. There’s probably a good reason why over ha…

Because in a large part when men advocate for their own liberation from oppressive issues, women directly benefit from that oppression. Since the modern feminist movement generally tries to consolidate as much power into women as possible, that goes against their goals. I would maybe rephrase to say mens rights movements are anti-feminist, but not anti-woman.

I love the comments criticizing this sub for other subs that the users also follow. The irony is the “enlightened” askfeminist sub having concurrence with askwomenover30 and FDS. The thing with the before last comment is that although they’re saying it sarcastically, it’s probably the truth. Obviously FDS is like that, but they’re a special place of hatred. But go look at other subs like AITA, relationship advice, and even tinder. All places of regardless of the scenario, odds are men are in the wrong. Even when you switch places, men still end up being in the wrong. It very much feels like women are immediately deserving of empathy and understanding, and are given the benefit of the doubt, while men need to do something to earn it.
