They want flowers and opening the door and thinking of them and signs of affection after they are convinced you are a high quality man. (and they are innately drawn to you because of that, respect you, want to earn your desire) The "serving" is the icing on the cake, but without the foundation it makes you look desperate, like you're trying to negotiate their desire with trinkets after reading some instruction manual.

Of course, I am never totally sure. But I have no reason to think she's getting dick elsewhere. I check her email and fb accounts on occasion (trust, but verify) and no red flags based on her behavior. Just frustrated with her in general. Lefty, feminist, etc. And mad that if I'm not some Greek God, she won't be attracted. But she can't help it. Trying to accept that it's not her choice, it's just a function of her biology.

So much truth in this post. Been following your story, documenting your struggles has helped others, so thanks for that.

She then moves on to Lots of people don't fuck all the time you know. Ahhh, yes. The "studies show average sex life is once/week" or some other bullshit rationalization why her piss poor interest in sex with you is normal. Use it as fuel. make her want to have an above average sex life in an above average relationship because she's with an above average man.

It felt to me like my wife was manipulating things to maximize her own free time Yes, she manipulated things for her benefit. She didn't think at all about what made sense for you and her together, or you, or anyone else other than herself. you picked up on her selfish perspective immediately when you brought up the free day you were going to have with her: I did notice that my wife seemed mostly irritated, however, because this meant that she was losing one of her two "easy days" Take it as ano…

I don’t have one. I’m by no means socially retarded but I find I get frustrated and bored with people fairly quickly. I’d rather be doing my own thing really but I do get lonely at times. I think I need to find men who I can relate to and/or stop being so autistic about who I choose to spend time with. People are imperfect and complicated. As are you. If you're looking for the perfect/ideal friends, you'll never set foot in the mess of real relationships with real people. there are guys out ther…

Something I don't like (and maybe, this is permanent, or very hard to change?): She completely controls the pace of sex in our lives. When I initiate, I almost always get turned down; when she "initiates" (in her very subtle way), we have sex because I know this is the window. This has been a sore spot for me as well. Got even worse for me when I started tracking her cycle closely. I realized our sex life was primarily determined by her hormonal cycle. I internalized that as feeling like a warm …

If my wife found out that an online "men's movement" group was what turned me and our marriage around, 2 main things would happen: She would no longer feel tingly that she had a special and unique husband who intrinsically figured out how to improve his life, take care of himself, and become an interesting and attractive person. Instead she would feel I was following other people and their recommendations. This would make me less of her snowflake. She would be very curious about what sort of onl…

"I'm really attracted to my glassy eyed, slurring and obnoxious husband who isn't mature enough to figure out how to handle alcohol. Can't wait to ravage him in bed later tonight." - said no woman ever. If you have a substance use problem, it's pretty much impossible to have your wife (or anyone else) respect you and see you as a compelling and attractive person who has his shit together. I've had to learn that the hard way. Good for you on figuring it out as well. The improvements that have com…

I think it's OK to want your wife to be attracted to you. Most of us here want that. Hell, it's what got most of us here. But now you've hopefully moved beyond that, realizing you can make yourself attractive in all the MRP suggested ways and she may or may not take notice. That's all you can do. Just keep grinding

2nd OYS. fitness: lifting going well. Cardio on non-lifting days going well. Have about 10 pounds left of belly fat to lose before I'm excited to take my shirt off for wife or others. Struggling with how to put on the 10 more pounds of muscle I'd like, while at the same time losing 10 pounds of fat. I see a lot of posts about muscle only increasing during times of caloric/protein excess, yet people seem to gain muscle and lose weight at the same time. My simple caveman brain is having trouble ma…

I fucking let it get to me. I let this jackass moron get to me, shake my confidence. It made me resentful - "I'm working my ass off to get drip-fed duty sex, and this fucking jerk with no value as a human being probably had hot sex on demand." Then feeling disgust at my wife for being the other side of that equation, then angry that she would bring it up, then wondering why she brought it up, and on, and on, and on. Maybe she had good sex with the guy. Maybe it was good sometimes, and shitty oth…

We're averaging MAYBE once a week now, which is a huge improvement and would've shocked me a year ago. But now, my expectations are higher - I'm better, and I know I want more from our relationship. The gap between where I am and where I want to be is frustrating, even though I intellectually understand it's part of the process. I also think that intermittent sex causes me to pursue her much harder than I should. Just like a monkey in a lab, I'm far more motivated by random, occasional rewards t…

"You know that so long as you depend on that vibrator on your clit during sex, your holding yourself back. Not only are you using artificial stimulation and desensitizing your most sensitive spot, you also make it impossible to lose yourself in it. It's made you too orgasmically focused. Often we are simply masterbaiting with each others genitals." The reason I said this is because as I read SGM, I realize that as long as that fuckin thing is her central focal point, I can't possibly use DEVI. I…

Hair loss is an issue that's been cropping up more and more. Recently saw a picture of the back of my head and it's beyond thin as the scalp is visible. I'm not sure which direction I want to go. I don't want to shave my head, so it's either own the balding head or try something to stop and regrow. I started shaving my head due to hairline moving too far north. It's been great, looks pretty good as far as shaved heads go. It's crazy how much time I was spending looking in the mirror, adjusting m…

first OYS. Found the red pill 6 mo ago. (no longer say "swallowed the RP" or "unplugged" because I now realize I haven't swallowed shit or unplugged anything). The good: Internalized lifting and fitness, about 2/3 of where I want to be on that front. Wife for the first time ever told me to take shirt off while I was walking to bed for playtime the other day. Amazing how they respond to muscles. Still work to do, but definitely going well there, anticipate that continuing. The bad: Need to dial i…

"Feminist Aims The feminist movement aims to achieve an egalitarian non-hierarchical society in which all people are treated equally, regardless of sex or gender." I think engaging in her feelings-based-philosophy is a losing proposition for you. But if you were going to engage her on anything, I would pick this statement. Does she mean equally under the law? Because if she does, than any acknowledgement of gender as an indicator of being treated equally would be specious. Why does company B hav…

stop overthinking and expecting the comments section to make it all OK. You felt you needed to "reset" the sexual dynamic with your wife. Sounds like you're right. So you're taking it off the table for a while, and you made that clear to her as well. Fine. At this point, it is what it is. Not obsessing about how she responds to you initiating, not being butthurt by starfish, not carrying around anger which affects how fun and interesting you are.....these will be positives. So now you simply tak…

"But her orgasm is her business" Ok. Is that really what you want in your marriage? She takes care of herself. I take care of myself. Sometimes those goals intersect, but not necessarily. Sexuality is not something we necessarily direct towards each other. Not trying to be a dick here. I struggle with this in my marriage

my wife has never been attracted to me she never will be attracted to me she takes me completely and wholly for granted, and that will never change Thus, my goal has moved entirely from "improve my sex life with my wife!" to "get divorced and start over." To say that was a gut punch would be...an understatement. I dont know what your future holds. But i just wanted to tell you that i am in the same place with my wife. You are not alone.

she's sharking. You hint (strongly) you want something sexual if you do her a favor. She follows through, enthusiastically. Sounds like you're on the right track. Don't overcomplicate things. Keep up the good work.

I'm no veteran, but my take after similar experiences with my wife: Attraction needs to be better. You already mentioned this. Dread is key here. She needs to know deep down that high quality women want you. She needs to see that when you're out with her. She needs her friends to make comments about you. She needs to then internalize that you could get other women without much effort if you wanted to. She'll soon start to feel an underlying mild anxiety that keeping you happy is important or you…

Some people have panic attacks, anxiety, depression, or all three and it's not something they can "red pill" themselves out of. I don't know the details of your history, but you can't own your shit out of schizophrenia, bipolar depression, or other serious mental health problems. Certainly, owning your shit, making good decisions, living your life the way you want will get most of us mentally and physically fit. But for some of us, it may not be enough. That's where talk therapy or drugs or both…

This is an unhelpful reply. I was asking other men who have feminist wives/LTRs if the commitment to feminism has been an obstacle to the relationship, especially in the context of recent events. I don't think this necessarily implies I'm "far in her frame."

If he had just started dating her and could toss her aside if she didn't listen to reason Chewing on the idea that it's highly unlikely she would make it past one date if we met today isn't making all this easier.

Keep on doing what you are doing and hope that she realizes you have a lot of value I'm zoning in on this approach, and stop looking for easy fixes. there likely isn't one.

low value post. sorry It hits too hard because I have 3 kids with her and 13+ years of life with her invested. So what do I do with the idea that I wouldn't choose her if I knew then what I know now?

If you were single man, Red Pill aware and Game savvy, would you even approach your wife knowing what you do now about her personally as well as what you know about the Feminine Imperative and how it influences her? fuck you for this. fuck this hits way too hard

"the pill" classically provides a low level constant hormone for 3 of the 4 weeks. then the 4th week is a placebo pill (you could take nothing, but the idea is it keeps the woman used to taking a daily pill). When withdrawing the hormone for that last week, the uterus can't sustain the lining anymore, so it falls out for a period. That stops when starting the hormones again with a new month of pills. So you lose the ups/downs of the hormones. this is good for mood swings, PMS, Acne, etc. Bad for…

This last 2 weeks I watched a season of a show I really love on Netflix. I felt guilty the whole time. Thinking "she really must find this attractive...NOT". Then I think "who gives a fuck what she thinks?". only 3 months in myself, but thinking about this issue a different way helped me. I always resisted doing things that were ultimately good for me if I felt like I was doing it because my wife wanted me to. Cutting off my nose to spite my face sort of deal. Almost like not wanting to be a goo…

to take this a bit further..... It appears after ovulation, the testosterone and estrogen plummet back down a day or so later. There can be a withdrawl response regarding libido, mood, etc. I haven't been tracking enough to comment on this in my situation, but do others see this? Seems like if true, it's a tightrope to walk Really frisky, then a day later hormones drop off and interest falls off quickly until she adjusts back to normal levels.

Interesting to note- hops are a mild phytoestrogen. Probably too mild to really matter, but it does make you wonder. I was reading some online about "man boobs" and found constant references to beer/alcohol as a contributing factor from pretty reliable sites. Not sure how much it contributes overall, but it's helped with me cutting back on drinking.

Gentlemen don't get drunk, they have 1-3 & chill agree. Hard to break old habits. Fun of getting drunk outweighed by negatives these days, need to keep that thought front and center.

but if it ruins your frame just stop it. Yeah, I know. Lots of years in craft beer scene, developing a taste for hops, liking being an "expert" in said scene. Looked around at last event I went to, lots of neck beards, flannels, and beer bellies. Time to move on.
