Engineer isolated don't even sleep with anyone and haven't dated for years but then ghost me or use me for sex For an "engineer" there's an entire universe of girlhoemath between those statements.

That leapt out at me too. Quite possibly also says volumes about the impression Dan gave off during that time.

It might just be me, but every time I hear a woman say "partner", it is just a loud alarm of red flags to me. Like many other words today it has lost all meaning.

I'd argue that being a well-adjusted individual with a solid self-identity is essential to being part of a prosperous partnership. Somehow I think that part got lost in translation here though ;) In their case it's no different than saying they need to "find themselves".

"Boyfriend", or "Fuck-buddy", or "Hookup", or "complete stranger that I sometimes fuck" are too juvenile/bankrupt of "status" so "Partner" is almost always used instead. It shits me too. I always ask myself "oh, in what ways are you in partnership with each other?"

Good point. I stand corrected. All of those pertain to lack, and have little conceptual relation to the shame she was referring to.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen15/03/21 12:27 PM

No that's asexual shame. She's correct that men are largely immune to sexual shame.

It means to drop all pretense of having a personality and expect the other person to 100% carry every interaction. To be completely reactive/passive yet place ridiculous expectations on the other party. There is slightly more nuance to it too. Like wanting to put in zero/absolute bare minimum of effort into "evaluating" the relative value of each party (if you're too into her you must be lower in value).

A solution is anathema because it encumbers them with the responsibility to act on that solution. They don't whine so they can be told about their responsibilities, they whine so they can be absolved.

Country: United States Ethnicity: White/Caucasian 1,500$ . 5000$ I know this is off-topic but: She put the dollar-sign after the numbers twice. Is there some subtext here I'm unaware of? (I'm not American) Why does someone make this mistake if they don't come from a culture/use a currency where it is grammatically correct to do so? She would see the correct usage literally everywhere in her day-to-day life.... Sorry for the rant. Every time I see this I think room-temperature IQ (cultural/curren…

Men with this energy set off all of their hypergamy alarms. They believe it will evoke a similar response in men.

"Age-appropriate" is gaining traction; a term I find most insidious because on the surface those two words sound quite reasonable. Any relationship between two consenting adults is "age-appropriate". To say otherwise is to deny one/both party(s) agency, and that's rape.

... But if thats why she left, then id still scratch my head as to why would that make any sense? No it doesn't make sense. Yes, it may have played a part, see: The warm home analogy. The qualities that make you a good man, a good father, are the same qualities that make you "boring" and lead to her being "unhaaaaappppyyy".

Fuck that. Someone can't know their value? Or we have to play this game of false-humility? If OP is "obviously a narcissist" based on his self-assessment, most women must be off-the-charts narcissists. His wife certainly believes she "deserves" better. OP just wants to do right by his son, and be the best man he can be.

in both cases the higher-SMV person (at the time) got what they wanted and the lower-SMV person gave it to them in an attempt to get more. Another side-bar worthy contribution (imho). I'll be using this little nugget extensively whenever I need to drop some red pill bombs socially.

Forget about men's happiness: surveys have shown that women's self-reported happiness has declined since the start of feminism. How much of this could be attributed to social media and the exhibitionist tendencies of those who use it?
