I never let numbers fall to the wayside, nor do I ever stop the influx of numbers. I believe that's key. When you get a really tough one, drop it and go to the next. I'll typically send a "keep alive" text message to women I haven't been able to get together with yet for various reasons. It's my go-to for reviving a dead contact (when it's been a long time since you last texted/talked and it's unlikely she'll respond, or has ignored texts in the past).
