Oh for work, yeah then it doesn't matter. They look pretty good, plain and simple. I haven no idea about the quality. The heel is kind of big but its for work so it doesn't matter. I am not familiar at all with rockports. I've never personally wore them. I do not like the heel(seems a bit wide/big) but from what I know rockports are pretty comfortable...the quality is terrible. do you want these for dressing up or for the office? You need to take jeans and a polo or jeans and a t shirt a step up, not wear something in which you would look like a try hard tool. That's why I said the pictures were "inspiration" You take what you like and leave the other stuff. As for your polo comment, if you actually CHECKED the guides I linked, you'd find that 99% of the guides consist of CASUAL wear likes jeans, and chinos.

How big are your thighs? South Pole's jeans are huge. No cargo pants please. If you have somewhat normal muscular legs than levis 514s should be pretty good. If your legs are as big as you say...You can pick up some undyed levis 501s Shrink To Fits. Remember to get the dark indigo color, not the metal one, they look pretty similar. They should look pretty good one someone who has huge legs. There's a guide about them at MFA. They should fit you pretty well. Remember that they SHRINK to fit you.

I'm not sure how many times I've repeated this now. 8 or more times now. Wearing a suit has nothing to do with dressing well. You'll find that I've recommended wearing dark wash jeans and the guides I've linked to recommend chinos and a shitload of casual wear.

Wearing brighter colors is great, as long as you know what you're doing. Spring and summer is here and colors are perfect. In style, however, one needs to make a transition slowly.
