Do you have proof of the affair? Do you have it in writing or a recording of her admitting it? You’ll need that before you file. Can you get her to write a timeline? Tell her it’s for your therapy to help you handle the affair or something.

Document everything. Record all interactions (per your lawyers advice) and be the best record keeper ever. Do not ever get aggressive no matter how much she may poke or prod. Be a gray rock (look up gray rock method).

Save those recordings of her unplugging the cameras as evidence. I suggest plugging those cameras back in every time you see her do that and try aiming the cameras so they somewhat face each other so one of them can capture her actively unplugging them. You could also purchase some ring cameras that are battery operated that require a special screwdriver to undo.

Just to confirm, you have reached out to a lawyer, correct?

How was she going to sue your parents? Clearly, there is someone chatting nonsense in your wife’s ear. Don’t sell till after the divorce otherwise your wife will go after as much as she can. Also, she might try to get more alimony and child support from you if she catches wind of this. Just don’t do anything else. Don’t do anything that changes your financial positioning.

Do not let her bully you. Everything will work itself out. She needs to get a job, first of all. Your kids will be fine. This woman is dangerous and get those cameras.

Why sell it!? Leave it with your parents. Do not give her half!

Do not sell that house!! Get your lawyer involved asap. You are going to screw yourself here. Learn to be a gray rock (gray rock method). Set up cameras and DO NOT get angry in any way. She with poke and prod to get a reaction. Do not give in, do not cave!

Why are you selling your parents house!? Stop that! That house belongs to your parents, not her.

Why did you use a sperm donor?

What are your kids opinions on the whole thing with her? Were they mad at her?

Is your ex still with the AP?

It’s that mass hysteria bullshit women suffer from. I’d love to learn the psychological origins of this, like what beneficial purpose did this wiring serve in our early days?

What was their overall response to the revelation? Were they upset with their mother at all for breaking the home?

Never allow the cheaters the ability to control the narrative. They will turn your good will against you. Now your children will view you as the bad guy.

I hear excuses, just contact a lawyer. Whatever she has, you are entitled half.

Half of what she has is yours. Call a lawyer, tell them your situation and start from there. That house is half yours. You need to call asap.

Wait, how are you letting her control so much? Why don’t you have a lawyer?

Should she be part of your 41st birthday party? Wouldn’t her being there be false? I think you should book your own date and have her watch the kids.

You’re totally NTA. She made her bed, now she gets to sleep in it.

If you don’t mind me asking, what were the circumstances of your divorce (affair, something else?) and how did you achieve full custody? Also, from an earlier comment you made in this post, are you still close to her family?

Paternity test and gray rock her.

You’re doing the right thing. She’ll most likely have to split her retirement with you and pay you alimony.

Wrong move man. If she gets a lawyer she could get you for abandonment. You need to toughen up.

I’ve said this a few times already, you absolutely need to call a lawyer before you consider any other course of action. Do not drop the charges. Recorded all interactions. CALL A LAWYER!! Half that house is yours, a half of all assets are yours. She will be forced to pay you alimony. DO NOT DROP THE CHARGES!!

She’ll get a lawyer and destroy you. You must seek out legal advice. A lawyer will save you money and custody in the long run.
/r/Divorce_Men27/06/26 04:15 PM

Do not drop the charges and call a divorce lawyer immediately. Let them assist you in what to do next. These charges against her could help you in the divorce and with custody.

Fight her legally to prevent her from taking your kid away. This will rob you of your time with her.

I’m sad to say this, but as the father of two girls, I’ve always wished I could have had the chance to raise a son. At the same time, I’m also relieved I didn’t. I can foresee a difficult future for boys born in today’s world.
