Depressed virgin. I am typing this right now inside my parents' house. I am socially isolated and having moderate amount of FOMO. It is another Saturday night and I have no plans or anything. What would you suggest? As others have said, social hobbies. I can say from experience that rock climbing (bouldering specifically) is as social as it gets. 90% of bouldering is just chilling out staring at the walls. It's the perfect scenario to just bullshit with people and talk about the hobby. You can practice escalating from talking about the hobby to talking about the people you want to get to know and eventually inviting them to hang out outside of the gym. I think this is a great opportunity to practice your … | /r/seduction | 23/06/19 01:39 AM

Instead of acting confident, I am acting rude, how do I fix this?Being mindful of your actions helps. When you realize you're being a dick in the moment instead of later on you can change your behavior. What you change your behavior to is your call. Trial and error. | /r/seduction | 10/07/18 03:13 AM
Home for winter break and have a week by myself. Don't want to spend all day watching tv. Suggestions?I have the same problem and I just got into the whole climbing scene. It's a great way to socialize with other people, trying to solve these climbing "problems." If you're willing to pay for it; get a membership to a climbing gym and just chat it up with other climbers. The community is typically full of very warm and friendly people. Not to mention climber girls are fit and chill as hell. Hope this helps! | /r/seduction | 16/12/13 03:42 AM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this? This is a very poetic way to experience emotions. I'll definitely give this a shot. Thanks for your input. | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 10:14 PM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Appreciate the input. I actually have a therapist I see every two or three weeks, which I wish would be more frequent. I'm a little reluctant to change to a different therapist with a more open schedule due to the subpar quality of the therapists, in general, at my uni. | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 10:09 PM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Do people, in your experience, typically give off certain vibes when they're ready to progress into more meaningful topics? Or does that kind of depend on how much confidence and interest I bring to the table about those topics? | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 05:43 AM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Oneitis has gotten the best of all of us at one point or another. I wish you luck on your sexcapade, friend! | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 05:05 AM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Really appreciate the feedback. I can never get enough "be yourself" reminders. Hope everything works out in the new living situation. | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 04:54 AM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Learn to say them without adding any color. Don't tangle them up with what you believe is their cause, e.g., "So-and-so said said X to me and it made me mad." Can you explain why this may be something to avoid? | /r/seduction | 23/10/13 02:06 AM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?I appreciate your time to respond. I'm not much of a party-goer as of now because of the arbitrary nature of it all. "Let's get fucked up and mack on girls we don't give two shits about" just doesn't really appeal to me very often. I can always tell when people I'm talking to don't want to talk about what it is we're discussing. I haven't had much practice at thinking of things to make it more lighthearted or even change the topic entirely because I get caught up in that "I fucked up" mentality.… | /r/seduction | 22/10/13 09:27 PM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this? This is precisely what I mean. I can think of things to chat about, sure. But I just haven't been able to convince myself to care enough to actually continue the conversation. | /r/seduction | 22/10/13 09:20 PM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this? Thanks for your reply. Can you give an example of a controversial or contrarian statement? | /r/seduction | 22/10/13 09:19 PM
Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this?Yeah, I know what you mean. I've tried opening with more philosophical stuff in the past and have gotten weird vibes, even though my intentions were good. As far as lighthearted openers; do you kind of use little observations that you notice about the people? Or the scenario you're in? I always get inside my own head when I think of things to say because they seem "cheesy" to me. | /r/seduction | 22/10/13 09:17 PM
