"but they started it" is your argument Here's a tip: watch a different show. this is exactly what I said.

Following your logic, it's not as if farming or shepherding was a paticularly dangerous job, so why were only men allowed to own land and cattle.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 02:27 PM

Deciphering what are natural manly qualities and what are cultural manly qualities make this argument difficult to lean on.

If you look at humanity's greatest empires, they got that way through war, invasion, and oppressing the conquered. To maintain those empires, you can't just have strength, you need smarts. I agree. For most of human history, men who were the strongest and the smartest thrived survived the hunt for food and survived war. It doesn't then follow that only men can own land or hold positions of power. What the fuck does that have to do with the topic It's integral to the theory and to your theory as …

The show really triggered my red-pill nerve too. Everyone that is saying that it's just fiction and you should move on is unaware that our brains basically can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. Here's some thinking that you can move forward with: In a free market, a show like this will always appear because there is market demand for it. You cannot control the world. Focus on what you can control, which is your consumption of it. Remove yourself from any place where you might he…

Might be worth checking out r/MensLib it's a feminisit movement focused on men's issues. As for the Redpill documentary, Knowingbetter did a great rebuttal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDrJo8d45gc

He makes a great point that laughing about how bad the pickup community isn't all that helpful. There definitely needs to be an effort made to create some sort of resource for people to learn emotional intelligence. Especially in regards to men talking to women.

I can tell your really hurting and your mind is performing some mental violence on itself. Take a break. Have a bath, go for a walk. Be kind to yourself. It's a mental trick but make the decision to be kind to yourself. Say it out loud. "I'll be kind to myself". As for the whole baby situation. TELL HER. I can't tell you when it's appropriate to bring it up, but if you have concerns that she's looking for a father. TELL HER. BE HONEST. Not all women are machievlian in trying to secure a baby-dad…

Idn what to say. You don't have to interact with bad people? Personally, I've never come across this shame and I've never felt shame for not liking someone I don't like. Can you link me to someone doing this and I'll go downvote their comment.

I don't understand the question. It's completely socially acceptable to want whoever you want.

only you can decide that. not societal norms, not a subreddit.

That sounds really tough and I don't really have any specific help, other than to let you know that I've heard you. I've never been married, but maybe I can offer my opinion as a man. Men act tough when they're scared and hurting. Let him know how his actions are making you feel, no one likes to intentionally hurt people they love. Then maybe give him a hug and then let him know if there's anything that he is struggling with that he can always come to you. It could be gambling debts or esteem is…

nah mate some women are intensely irrational and some men are too. go to any hippy convention or organised religion for that matter and see that it's mostly run by men. going to turn around and say that ada lovelace the inventor of computational mathematics wasn't rational. Women tend to be more emotional than logical but its not always the case

Do you think that's relationships and not hookups though. Personally, I've noticed that the strongest long-term relationships are those that are balanced, but if you're talking about who has girls going home with him at the end of the party it is almost always the "20%"

thanks! I'm going to hang out on the subreddit and try and deprogram myself, but if you know of any great resources to start that would be cool.

Best: Accepting that I am a man and loving and accepting my own male sexuality. With all the good and the bad that it entails. I don't know if it was society or what but I was scared to be masculine because I thought it was the bad gender. Also, the self-improvement as everyone else is mentioning. Women won't like you magically like in the movies. pedestalisation ect. Worst: It so matter-of-fact. There's no room for discussion or appeal. A lot of what it claims to be true is mostly based on poor…

100% agree. That is what the redpill should be about. The sidebar definitely needs updating to affirm that sentiment.

Hetero Girls love a Man. Being a Douchebag is just an easy way out to achieve that. Insecure girls really love douchebags it's true. But a)why would you want to be a douchebag and b)why would you want insecure girls.

Toxic behavior attracts toxic people. Most young good looking girls are toxic. Don't know why. If you want to sleep with these women, then fine, act in a toxic manner and you will. However, there are girls out there, that are good-looking and wholesome. Those women, will not engage in toxic behavior so you will scare them away if you do. Can you be more specific about actions you take to be an "asshole". Because it may just be that you're not instantly validating her over her looks like every ot…
