I think a Justice of the Peace can certify a statutory declaration without me going to the police, that might be a better idea. No worries.

I've spoken to her a bit already, I don't think I've done much damage ( so to speak) though. It's really disheartening because my first instinct was to go there and do the right thing by her and the child. Thankfully my subconscious spoke up I guess.

Incredibly manipulative is an excellent description. I've left out examples for the sake of anonymity, you're on the money here. I may have to, she still has a lot of people in common on social media, so may attack my character through them, but most of them know what she's like.
