I think it is a completely natural reaction to the way dating market has become. for a man, the legal risk of getting married is simply not worth the reward.

"Measured average weight for adults ages 20 and older: Men Weight in pounds: 199.0" Straight from CDC. even by the unhealthy US standards 300 is a lot.

" My question is why? Why do men have such a scarcity mindset towards the opposite sex? " because it's the reality for most men. it's not just a mindset. It's fucking hard to lure a woman.

I am not glorifying anything just saying what is the harsh reality. maybe some women are not 100% satisfied with their backup options but at least they had lots of fun. most men have none of that. no fun and no savoir at the end of the tunnel. My problem is with the idea that women are victims too... they had their options, they chose the fun option. they are not victims.

What is the point then? isn't it about women with long history of casual dating and shopping around for a better deal can impair their ability to form deep emotional bonds and leave men feeling like a financial "exit strategy" rather than a romantic choice. yes, it's a fucked up situation for both and still most men will take that deal over no deal at all and come to her rescue in the end.

If you think men get the last laugh, you’re delusional. Most women will be just fine. There’s a permanent line of desperate guys ready to simp for any woman at any stage of her life. Sure, the line thins out a bit after 30, but it never actually ends.

FI means not having to trade your time for money. basically, you could stop working and still be fine. I’m not fully there yet, but getting close. It really depends on your lifestyle. I could technically be FI if I downgraded mine. You’re not going to become financially independent just by trading your time for money… unless you’re a lawyer (honestly, great job if you want to get rich). Other than that, can’t give financial advice. DYOR. Best of luck to you.

there is no such thing as unconditional love. for most women it is financial stability.

I don’t have a definite answer to your question, but one thing I know for sure is that you should aim to be financially independent by 30. That level of success will definitely attract the ladies. There’s no joy in grinding your 40s, 50s, and 60s working just to pay bills

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
