Theres mor to it than that. You can't be recorded where you have an expectation of privacy. In your home or bathroom conducting a diaper change I think you can argue you have an expectation.

I don't see how she would know if you're making more money/working more as long as you don't open your mouth. She's not entitled to your future W-2s. Put the money away and keep your current lifestyle. Always amazes me how exes somehow know their exes are making more money. How the fuck does that happen? Telling on yourself. All your ex should ever know about you after the divorce is the location of the exchange. If it was me she wouldn't even know where I live. Once that kid is 18 you can upgra…

The woman who is with a guy making barely any money is not the same caliber as the woman with a Bezos. Woman with a guy making no money probably has a few unattractive qualities, such as being ugly, overweight, dumb, poor personality, abusive, drug/alcohol abuse, already has kids and daddy drama, criminal record, etc. Not the kind of lady a Bezos can bring with him to a red carpet event. Woman with a Bezos likely is conventionally attractive, in shape, no kids, little to no prior kids or relatio…

I will say her demands for your dad's military stuff is 100% what fucked her over in that trial. They punished her for that.

She cannot keep the kids from you without a court order. It's called parental kidnapping. Document anytime she texts or emails refusals to allow you equal parenting time.

She already accused you of SA and now you wanna giver her another chance to do so, except this time with physical evidence? Do you wanna end up in prison?

Once she knows you don't care about the dog and she realizes she has to walk it daily, feed it daily, while caring for newborn.... Yeah she'll backtrack on that very fast.

If her bf didn't take the initiative in wanting to meet you before he met your kids, he's a pedo bitch.

Cali is 50/50. Why is she getting 1.5 mil house and alimony? Whats on your side of the equation? Don't tell me she sobbed storied you into giving everything. Don't agree and force trial. Force sale of home. Even paying 50k for a lawyer will be fine after house sale, you can find plenty of rural areas in Cali or other states to retire to with only a fraction of house payout.

No court can make you get a vasectomy as part of a divorce agreement. Imagine enforcing that. You don't do it, what is the DA gonna do? File charges for disobeying a court order? No DA is gonna file those charges. If they did (political suicide), you think a jury is gonna convict you once they hear what court order it was that you disobeyed? What's the judge gonna do if you don't do it either? Throw you in jail? Again, political suicide. Or, big brain move, agree to it but get something BIG in r…

If you did this, she would have gotten a PFA yesterday. And it would have been granted. "He made me feel scared/unsafe". Use the same argument: "SHE made me feel scared/unsafe". And throw MIL on there while you're at it.

Set up google voice on your new phone, you get a number with it. give that to your kid (who will give it to mom). You can drop the google voice number and get a new one at any time through the app. I give google voice to anyone or anything that I might need to cut off. Online shopping, extended friends and family, new girlfriends (so if/when they turn into exes you can drop the number), acquaintances. You can pretty much use it as a work line or burner phone.

False and flawed study. Do more research. Other, and more numerous, studies show marriage is directly tired to happiness for both men and women.

You should wait until she has a job again and a bit more equitable retirement. Right now if you split, she'll take about 200k of your retirement, 300k of that equity, and alimony. What was she making at that last job? Hope it was close to the 175k/yr you are making, and her LOA hasn't been long, otherwise that'll be a very expensive alimony. If you wait until she has a job, she probably would just get half the equity, a lot less, maybe nothing, of that retirement, and maybe even no alimony depen…

Lol... She doesn't want you to move on but has given you all the time in the world (you don't have kids half the time) to move on. Shot herself in the foot here. Ultimate power move on your part would be to get with someone hotter than your ex.

Appeal... Or play the waiting game. If she's that bad of a mother, she will either willingly give up time with kids (because from what you've described, she can't handle kids) or something will happen with the kids where she'll lose custody. I.e. set her up for failure.

She'll have a 50 state warranty out for her arrest. When she does get arrested, the DAs child abduction unit from the arresting agency will coordinate with your local DA abduction unit to return the kids, be that plane ticket or otherwise. Parental kidnapping is the most common form of kidnapping so the system is somewhat streamlined to deal with it.

You can't demand she love you. You need to find happiness without her. Life/hobbies/whatever. If she doesn't change, that's on her. At least you'll be in a better spot to have a better life. Shell probably notice you pulling away and being happy without her and make changes. Whether those changes stick is up to her. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If you even accept those changes and are attracted to them, that's up to you.

Her mental health issues aren't her fault but they are her responsibility. She hasn't been responsible at all, and your kids and you deserve, at minimum, a responsible adult.

Buddy, she violated a restraining order (threatening you and saying she will kill you and new gf, obviously you will tell new gf, third party communication is a violation). That combined with credible threats is STALKING. In my state if there's an active RO it's aggravated stalking. Prisonable felony. Make a report. Time for her do few years on the bus (jail to prison bus). My state she would be in jail within the day if she didn't make an effort to hide from authorities. Ramey warrant door kick…

No, and it's possibly a felony. As well as another felony to post it online. This is specifically outlined in penal code 650 and it's other sections. There are few exceptions, one for example pursuant to restraining order (protected party is nearly always given the right to record... huge reason why you should try to get one). Another is if domestic violence is going on. Another is annoying phone calls... read up on 653m penal code.

In Maine it's called criminal restraint by a parent. https://legislature.maine.gov/statutes/17-A/title17-Asec303.html Maine jury instructions aren't available online.. ha e to be bought apparently.

https://www.azleg.gov/ars/13/01302.htm 13-1302 is the az law of custodial interference. Jury instructions: The crime of custodial interference requires proof that the defendant; 1. [took] [enticed] [kept] from lawful custody any [child] [incompetent person] entrusted by authority of law to the custody of another person or institution; or before a court order determining custodial rights denying that parent access to any child, [took] [enticed] [withheld] any child from the other parent; or had j…

As I said, you basically have to know the law better than cops and attorneys and nearly write the report on a silver platter. Id refer heavily to jury instructions in your state for whatever law you have that's similar to CAs for parental abduction. CA jury instructions are called CALCRIM.

That's not accurate at all. If she takes the kids with mailcious intent to deprive you of custody or keeps the kids away, that's a crime. In CA it is explicitly a crime under penal code 278.5. Malice basically is either deliberate intention to do wrong, OR having so much ill will, hatred, or disregard for someone that leads to wrongdoing or harm. Get your ex to make statements via text. Option one is to say something like, 'i want to see the kids, what you're doing is wrong' (pro tip don't say c…

This is a form of kidnapping called parental child abduction and carries felony charges in basically every state. Contact the child abduction unit at your local DAs office. They will likely have you file a police report at the local agency to forward to them. Your local DA should coordinate with the DA of the agency where your kids are and facilitiate her arrest for an out of state extraditable warrant and getting your kids back. Press charges. Criminal convictions can always be used in family c…

You have to look up the criminal code that spells out the crime of recording. There should be exemptions listed. If you have a protective order you may record: (l) It is lawful under this section and ss. 934.04-934.09 for a person who is protected under an active temporary or final injunction for repeat violence, sexual violence, or dating violence under s. 784.046; stalking under s. 784.0485; domestic violence under s. 741.30; or any other court-imposed prohibition of conduct toward the person …

You can set up cameras in common areas of the home. In most single party consent states, notably CA, recording domestic abuse that is actively occuring is specifically exempted from single party consent laws
