A flu doesn't incite fear in me. The only thing I'm worried about is my parents whom are aging. Like any disaster, the best thing a person can be is prepared. As a man who invests money during economic low points I am growing excited at the opportunity to find some good deals.

I'll bite. I'm 25, have the ability to make six figures but it's been rough in my industry/country the past two years. I have a mortgage on a house, have roomates who pay me a good chunk of rent I stache away for maintenance/upgrades. No debt otherwise. Canada is going through a lot of BS right now and I don't feel safe investing other than on items that'll get me through an economic collapse. Haha but I wanna come out on the other side of this thing ready to make acquisitions. I own some blue c…

What you're feeling is the effects of cortisol, which is a horomone your body manufactures for times of fight or flight situations. By using it, your body allows itself to deal with stress a bit better in trade for eventually weakening your immune system, aging your body, and actually making you feel old. What most people don't know is your intake of cortisol also is directly influenced by your percieved position on a social heirarchy. We had a common ancestor with lobsters over 350 million year…

I want to believe this. Make a youtube video and prove it. Everyone knows energy can't be created or destroyed.

You're not wrong. My uncles entire retirement is financed through his dividends. That being said if a mans rig is owned with cash and he has 750k invested, he could live very well. Possibly travel at an older age.

Honestly, fuck property taxes. It'll either be on a boat or in an RV for me. In the winter time go where its warm so Im not burning money up keeping the cold out. I can run a little generator in the evening to keep the batteries topped but rely on solar. Hobbies will be maintenance to the rig and my own body.

Why don't you people read a book about hunting before you go ahead and criticize the mans kill. Modern day sportsmen should display morality and give the prey reasonable chance to survive. Ie. By not taking it out at 800 yards with a .338 lapua. White tail deer numbers can climb very fast and hunters are part of the equation to keep their numbers in check. Would you rather see animals wasting away due to starvation from over population or disease? Good job OP.

My story. Graduated high school. Had a girlfriend I dated. She had aspirations of attending school elsewhere, I had no ambitions of following her. She said 'I love you', I didnt reply. Broke her heart. Broke up. I cut my own path. Got a job in the oilfield at 18 y/o. Am 25 now. Single this whole time. Bought acreage at 21. No fucks given about anything now. Now to rent my place out and find work elsewhere because Canada is fucked.

Honestly wish I had more male role models at a younger age so I didn't have to learn this shit trial and error. It's correct though. I however have invested enough time and money into chasing bitches I'm no longer entertaining the thought of dating. Silence is fucking priceless.

What do you do when you're broke as fuck and need cash? What has the Canadian government started doing lately? They've made the sale of medical marijuana legal.. The idiot leader also sold all of our gold stock piles and acquired staggering amounts of debt with nothing to show for it. (No new infrastructure) I've stopped driving around leisurely because the roads can be that bad. Some of the small towns out here can't afford to fix the paved roads so they spread gravel over them again. In the pa…

Yup my cognitive bias towards women is gone as well, even to my mother. When Brett Kavanaugh was going through those allegations last year my mom swore up and down men are disgusting and my dad backed her up because he's an idiot simp. We had a 20 minute phone call prior to finding out his accuser made up the story and I told them both women lie all the time and that he was not guilty. Guess who was right? My parents didnt say anything when I slapped em with the 'I told ya so'. That being said, …

Atta boy. Honestly that's the only way to treat em. Give them the same generosity that you would give your recycling. If I ever see myself in a similar situation which is highly unlikely due to logistics, my tolerance for BS would be low. Don't like my music? Leave. Have different values or a hightened sense of entitlement? Leave. Don't have a job or a plan? Laugh at them and tell em to leave..

I like it. I live semi nomadic in the oilfield with my primary residence having renters. Smart idea to build a tool toting trailer for his excursions.

Yeahh. I suggest you scroll past the image based threads if they trigger you so hard. We all know we're just consciousness embodied in flesh on a floating dust particle orbitting a self contained nuclear reaction. We all know all this shit we collect in our pathetic existence is completely useless. I've read proverbs and ecclesiastes. I've sat there and digested black pills. Did I enjoy it? Nope. Just like possessions and a quarrelsome wife can make a man a slave to the plantation, a negative at…

To use your example of motorcycles because it's discussed here and it hits home because I've owned three. A man with a motorcycle doesn't care about anyones opinions. I'm personally more excited to see a man purchase an old engine and drop it into a chopped and welded up frame than to see another finance a brand new CVO. Because it took mechanical aptitude, patience, and balls to ride something you built yourself. I hope you find a hobby that makes you feel alive.

If you want to stay in the cities and off the logging roads. I'd opt for a plumbing and gas fitting ticket. Set up your own buisness. I'm not an expert on what the housing market will do.

Honestly Canada isn't paying top rates any more. My work experience varies from oilfield, mining (oilsands to be specific), and pipeline. Our oil industry is being land locked by government and until we can get more big inch pipelines to other markets built it will be a crawl. Right now it's not what you know but who you know to get a good job. If you pick a trade in germany. Stick to Machining and Welding. Emphasis on welding because their will always be jobs in the patch for those guys. If you…

Some said you can't be angry with others for living their lives. Others said it's not my position to forgive and cleanse them anyways. Most agreed with me, no one disagreed.

I was at youth group with a bunch of adults that live in my rural area and the topic of forgiveness was being discussed. And I tactfully stated I won't forgive these 'reborn virgins' that come out of the wood work when they turn 30. A woman who doesn't invest in you in her youth is absolutely worthless and doesn't actually value you.

The majority of work that involves 'physically doing', is usually completed by men. Waste disposal, sanitation, heavy construction, oil and gas, fishing to mention a few industries. There is a theory that human society follows a eusocial structure similar to ants or bees. With the workers or labourer caste of the species ie: The three men whom risked their lives to save millions, only exist to ensure the brood has favourable living conditions. I encourage you to study the subject on eusocial soc…

Other comments are spot on. If she doesn't benefit you in any way don't bother with her. Guarenteed she treats you the same. She's only after your attention and validation.

MuH bOyfRieNd. Fuck did I ever get sick of listening to them talk. One girl I know actually lost both of her parents to disease in quick succession. She had to deal with a lot so I stepped back and tried to be supportive. She eventually ended up thanking me for being a decent person. Despite all of this I can't talk to this broad because I have to take into account her boyfriend. They automatically sexualize themselves regardless of the person. OP stated it best. Part of the redpill is accepting certain realities about other people as well. Some of your friends are not your friends, don't be afraid to ghost if they shame or attempt to shape your life. As for the rage, it does subside but it never goes away. It took me a good two years to reach a point where I can cruise instagram and not get pissed off at the attention seeking Thots.

Haha, why don't you worry about your own well being and problems. You can start by throwing away your make-up, deleting social media, learning a tangible skill instead of watching TV or gossiping with friends, and quit being a drain on society by voting for platforms that increase national debt. I've been in relationships, had girls chase me. What ever. Men that take care of our problems are not the issue. Guarenteed you could not survive the shit I personally go through. I work 40 hours before …

A lot of people whom lack work ethic or discipline will ask questions such as, 'How long are you going to do that for?' Or make statements such as 'Working your whole life away isn't worth it.' Our labour, while it may benefit anyone who can profit from it is tied directly to our individual survival. Generation after generation men have had to push themselves day in and out to ensure the wellbeing of their families, or in modern circumstances themselves. I work as hard as I can, and I implore th…

I definitely buy into this mindset. My game plan is to contribute less into retirement which is 40 years away and more into tangible items that will guarantee my survival in the present. With the focus of my income to pay off my property faster. If the world outlook looks better in 10 years and I don't have that mortgage, I'll be better set up to save huge amounts of money anyways.

First thing I did with my 5th wheel is put new tires on it. Sailun S637 trailer tires. 14 ply. Held up good the past year and it weighs under 11k pounds empty. A blow out will seriously fuck your day up. Trailer tires are notorious for wearing out from the inside. Also have your brakes checked and repack the bearings. Good luck.

Dont get into a huge rush to start working 'the job'. Enjoy your experiences at school. Ive been working since 18 years old. Being a homeowner is a giant pain in the ass as well.

I own a 3/4 ton diesel for towing my travel trailer to different job sites. My primary transportation earns its own wage. It hauls my tools, and my crew. And on my off days it hauls atvs and hunting gear. Practical as it gets.

Nothing is guaranteed. If my pension and retirement savings isnt enough to carry me through I intend to depart on my own terms. Either on my Harley or stealing a boat and getting lost at sea. Like a man.

Time to start digesting them black pills man. The best advice I've received was from a friend back in high school. He said to me, "No one gives a shit about you, except you. Look out for #1 always." If they arent inviting themselves over to your house on their own accord they dont like you like that. GYOW unless you enjoy being manipulated. If so this is the wrong sub.
