No, that doesn't offend me. I wish it didn't have to exist, but I understand why it does.

If you think being called a "good man" is an insult there's no helping you.

I wasn't my wife's first, but after 17 years together and 12 years married I'll bet anything you like I will be her last.

Joining an army, preferably a pmc that sees active action in Middle East or Africa regions against international terrorism. See some action, make a name for yourself and make money for when you come back to enjoy alcohol, sex with hot prostitutes and drugs. Experience true male euphoria. I had a friend who did something like this. Joined the USMC at 18, this was back in 2002, spent 4 years in Afghanistan and was on a few major offensives. I met him in 2006 after he came back. GI bill was paying …

You won't try to change the way you think to make yourself happy? That doesn't sound like you respect yourself much at all.

I'd rather be happy. Is your "realistic" view making you happy?

Normal to me. I met my wife in college. We had also both been in several other relationships before. Though I imagine OP would say we're just lucky.

The problem you describing here is a seeking external validation. You have to change the thoughts so that you don't depend on others. That's where therapy can help.

My mistake. I had only ever seen the incels side of black pill. It sounds like you have found a way to make it work for you. I would like to amend my initial statement. Black pillers need therapy when their philosophy leads them to self destructive incels type behavior.. However this is not always the case. Thanks for taking the time to explain this to me.

There's no arguing that physical appearance isn't important. Whether or not it's primary is debatable, but honestly that seems irrelevant. Why then is black pill so associated with incels, misogynist and people who demand sex? If all it is, is a notion for self improvement why does it have such awful connotation?

I never claimed it was a science, I just said it was like a science. That's you, that's what you sound like. Though I feel like I'm not really understanding what you mean by black pill. I've always understood it to mean incels and people who follow or identify with their philosophy of women owing sex and relationships to men. Though, with you at least, I seem to be wrong. If you don't mind, will you explain what you mean when you say black pill?

Lolol. Genuinely thank you for that. I laughed so hard I spit out my coffee. Black pill isn't a science. Y'all aren't studying a damn thing. You're making basic obvious assertions, like people prefer attractive people, and attempting to use a simple fact to explain an enormous variety of very complex human interaction. You're like the anti-vaxers who say vaccines have mercury in them, which is true for some vaccines, so they cause autism, which is obviously completely insane. You're closer to th…

It's a philosophy that leads to self destructive behavior. At least that's how it looks to an outsider. And it very much does seem obsessed with appearance and romantic relationships.

Those aren't bad thoughts until they become obsessive. Just like washing your hands isn't bad until it becomes obsessive. It's the obsession that's pathological not the thoughts themselves.

Unattractive people with no mental health issues don't fall for the self perpetuating misery cycle that is the black pill. We suggest therapy because of your thoughts, not your looks.

I’ve had consexual sex with women who wouldn’t even look at you. Did her breasts feel like a bag of sand when you were touching them?

You're right, but this is also useless. By this logic you can't know anything other than what you're directly observing. Almost all knowledge is built on assumptions. Hell you're just assuming that the moon is on the other side of the earth when you can't see it. Likewise you're just assuming someone who appears to have a good relationship is pretending. While that is a possible answer a much simpler explanation is that people who seem to be in good relationships are actually in good relationshi…

I'm entirely to close to 50 to be satisfied with just that. And you pay less taxes if you are married. Of course these are both terrible reasons to get married, but they are direct tangible benefits to being married.
