Own Your Shit Weekly - June 27, 2023I agree that I should focus on things that I can control. You are right. I have identified the starting steps to improving my life. Lifting, reading, getting nutrition more in focus. I am starting small. First OYS. The ADHD was a corollary. Getting a second opinion and possible treatment options was something that I had been putting off for too long because I was scared of what I might find out. To me, taking that step to address it is a step in the right direction. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/06/23 07:41 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - June 27, 2023I agree. It can be a multiplier, but because I am unattractive to my wife it doesn’t mean shit. I need to accept that. Before I would think she’s my wife and I’m powerful outside of the house, why can she drop her panties for me?!? Now, I am beginning to accept and understand that while I am powerful outside of the house, I’m an unattractive little bitch in it. It can’t make up for that. Understanding this and killing that ego I think is paramount to making progress on being a man in all areas o… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/06/23 07:35 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - June 27, 2023Now I understand the issue. You were diagnosed with it and heavily medicated at a very young age. You apparently didn’t respond well. Maybe you never had ADHD. Maybe the meds they had you on didn’t work for you. But, because of this anecdotal experience that you had before your brain was fully developed you have made the finding that ADHD doesn’t exist. Now, I’m new to MRP and I will give everyone who has come before me respect, but I wonder whether your life to get to this point was full of des… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/06/23 07:25 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - June 27, 2023It’s not a diagnosis. That’s long been done. This is trying to determine whether through medication and/or therapy it can be better managed. What I am trying to accomplish in this aspect is to better control it. Like I could through college and law school before the actual diagnosis. Just to be clear though, this is not my crutch, this is not my excuse, in fact this isn’t even the root cause of why I suck. This is corollary to that. In a way it’s low hanging fruit. I suck because long ago I lost… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/06/23 02:27 AM
Own Your Shit Weekly - June 27, 2023While I agree that lifting and challenging myself in all areas of my life will have a huge impact on my life, I assure you ADHD is real. As you see from my post, I am not lazy, in fact I prob work harder than most to reach the same level as someone without ADHD. My adhd was a crutch for me sometimes although not in the way you think it was. For me, it was a crutch for when I would “fail” to react in a way my wife wanted. Instead of owning my frame I would DEER and blame the adhd. That is somethi… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/06/23 02:03 AM
