I remember playing sports in school and the girls got to get out of practice bc of their periods or even just that they were “pmsing” then if you, a male, went to the coach like “hey I’m not feeling well” or “I’m depressed and don’t wanna practice.” You’d get the rub some dirt on it speech or they’d go “you sure?” And if you missed practice your position got given to another person and you may not ever get it back.
