Ok now I’m curious: how does a man value a woman’s «worth» exactly?

Where women see complacency, men see lack of reciprocity. Your point underlines it very well. It’s a complete list of what women want / need / desire. Not a single one on what a woman can do for her man, or what a man needs. Or more importantly - what the man actually does for her. Might not always be what she wants. But it rarely is for him alone. Most of the time its what is needed for the relationship or household as a whole. Her included. Fact of the matter is, you’re constantly running a on…

«Fukfilling» is probably the most Freudian slip on this subject matter lol

Lust will pass. Love will not. This seems like some kind of attachment issue more than anything else. See a psychologist first.

That’s actually a very good idea. Wait until everything is settled, other party’s shoulders are lowered and everyone breathes normally and looking at the calm seas. …then BAM world upside down again.

But no shade, right? lol No you’re right. I’ll delete my answers now.

Why is a 20 year old female on a sub for divorced men, anyways ?
/r/Divorce_Men14/06/26 06:59 PM

Yeah…you should read that again. I very specifically said that the relationship _wasn’t_ toxic and if it was, I might have decided otherwise. So yeah. Reading comprehension is to be preferred if you’re going to engage in a written forum.

Which part?

Kids. I believe kids do best in two parent households. Just because we’re not compatible as partners doesn’t make her a bad person or not a good mother. She is. Fortuntately our relationship isn’t abusive or hostile or unhealthy. If it was I might think otherwise.

I’m sure there is. Personally I don’t have the discipline to work out from home. Even though people annoy me there’s something about going to the gym that eliminates all distractions for the time you’re there, at least.

Dude, it’s fairly common that this starts to happen at your age. I am almost certain this is the main reason men start getting into shape approaching 40. We could give a f about any other health issue but god damn don’t take my boner away lol. Not sure if the edibles or ADHD meds are contributing (as in no clue) but I can almost guarantee the following will help: - Tadalafil (cialis) 5mg daily in the morning. It’s good for your prostate as well (it was designed as a prostate health drug). The be…

Part of raising kids is also setting an example. Standing up for yourself is one of them. Have some self respect- leave. Shell just respect you even less for staying. Don’t make it harder than necessary on either one of you. Stay cordial, stay professional, she’s a shitty partner, not necessarily a bad mom. Keep that relationship cordial if you really want to make it work for the kids. But for the love of god leave. Or your kids will only repeat the patterns.

I’m not projecting anything. I’ve seen your post history. Pretty consistent. First point: please show the court case where the mother was not given custody because she worked too much. The children should be the focus, I agree- in that case less women would ask for divorce in the first place and stay in the marriage. And yes- this is on the women. They ask for divorce a majority of the time. And no- a happy single mother is not more important to a child than growing up in a household with both p…

It’s not a fallacy just because you disagree with. So you’re not humoring anything. What YOU’re doing, on another hand- is exactly what you’re accusing me of. But let me «humor» you and take your response as a actual curiosity and not another vessel for you to spew your frustrations over every one else to relieve you of your own self-hatred, if only for a while: The reason is because the laws are stacked against fathers. 5-five- states have joint physical custody presumption. The rest do not. Wh…

Weird- it’s the same reason most women don’t make as much money as men, because they don’t ask for raises in the workplace. But somehow when that happens, it’s patriarchy and society’s fault and laws need to change. But not when it comes to 50/50 custody, in that case «just ask» is good enough. Gotta love feminist logic

How come women NEVER seem to be able to read anything slightly critical of women without knee jerking back to WELL WHAT ABOUT MEN

The mental gymnastics women go through to avoid accountability is simply mind blowing. I really shouldn’t be surprised but I am. Genuinely.

I went through the same thing. «Has to be me» At least it was motivation to put in the work. And realize that yes, some of it was me. Not all of it. Not a chance.

In reference to previous mentions of «no more Mr Nice guy» - see if this rings a bell: « nice guys often chase validation, not a real connection in relationships. When a nice guy is being overly accommodating, what he’s doing is begging for approval. True connection, requires vulnerability and emotional risk. The best definition of vulnerability, is starting a conversation you don’t know how it’s going to end. For lasting love, men must move beyond surface-level pleasantries. They must allow the…

It’s not you. For the love of god you need to get that into your head. It’s. Not. You. It’s her. Keep repeating that to yourself. Over and over and over. You are as worthy of love as anyone else. I went through the same roller coaster. Of course one can always try to become a better man- But do it for your future self. Not her. Let me know if you need some literature.

You can’t rationale your way into her wanting you. It’s a desire thing. No more no less. Ask yourself if you’re willing to put up with this or not. It’s a simple as that. Her shaming you for bringing it up is her way of not having to deal with the issue. Classical avoidant. You mentioned kids: if you have a son- ask her if she would accept the same for him from her potential daughter in law. And if not, what would she tell your son
