You can read my comment.

Whatever you’re trying to say doesn’t really relate to my comment. If you’re looking for a man to argue with, please find someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 10:38 PM

And? I’m really not sure what point you’re trying to make. If it’s more of the gender war garbage you typically spew, please just keep it to yourself.

This isn’t really accurate. Men actually very commonly express positive sentiments about overweight women. A pretty substantial number of men actually prefer a little extra weight. However, overtly obese women at the extreme end of that scale, no. Similarly, decent looking 5’6” guys can still get some positive attention. 4’11” dudes aren’t going to be getting those same reactions.

It very literally is.

I literally just reiterated my original comment. "Google it."

It's only irrelevant if you slept through high school biology.

I wasn't responding to OP, I was responding to a subcomment about "pets".

Victim? I'm just pointing out that you're not making an argument. "Google it" is not an argument.

I have, it's fairly dumb.

I’ve defended my point. “Goggle it” is not a valid argument. But sure, I’m arguing in bad faith? This is sad.

Google what? That’s your reply? Google it? How about taking a high school level biology class.

A “need” as dictated by human biology. Did you graduate from the University of TikTok?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:34 AM
1

“On what they have to show”? What does this even mean? Grammatical nonsense. I was drawing a distinction between the concepts of sex and pet ownership on the basis of biology, which is fairly relevant to the topic of sex. If you bothered to stay awake during biology class, you’d have noticed that there wasn’t a lot of talk about pets. Jesus Christ, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:31 AM

I didn’t say that’s the only reason people have sex. Sex is fun, but that fun is dictated by biological programming that says “do cool stuff with your dick/vag”, and reproduction is a common outcome. Those biologically driven behaviors that result in reproduction are then selected for. Do you think you have genitalia by random chance? Like I get you can do what you want with them, but they are literally reproductive organs, that’s why we have them. Jesus Christ. There is something deeply wrong w…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:22 AM

Because their standards are being set by the dudes that will bang them out of convenience, and social media programming. It’s a really unfortunate intersection of male and female behavior, and it's being commodified to both men and women's detriment, but we're all too internet-addicted to understand how it's hurting us.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:04 AM

Social media distorting their perception of reality. They are being unknowingly commodified, or they don’t care because they perceive that it currently benefits them. Unfortunately, some of these viewpoints are not great for humans in general, and I think it takes a special kind of ignorance to think that you can neglect the needs of ~40-50% of a generational population without negatively impacting the remainder. I make that statement in general, not about men or women specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 03:59 AM

Sex is a behavior driven by the instinct to reproduce. Butt sex is unlikely to result in a child, so many people don’t have the biological urge to gay it up. Some do, and that’s fine too, and they are unlikely to pass on their genetic traits. Some of you guys will bend over backwards to deny that sex and reproduction represents an exceedingly normal behavior among humans and other animals. It’s almost puritanical in a weird way. Get off TikTok and take a biology class, for Christ sake.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 03:25 AM
2

For one person that might be true. For another it might not. People are different, and the strength of instinctual urges will vary from person to person. In general, being that it’s how we reproduce, human biology is going to encourage people to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 03:21 AM

Pets or sex? She made a comment, I responded to it. Sex is a biological imperative. Pretending that literally hundreds of thousands of years of biological development doesn’t apply to you as a resulting organism is wild. Without that biology, there would be no “need” to be discussed here, so this is very much related to the OP. Some of you guys obviously slept through biology.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 03:02 AM

Moving the goal posts? I was responding to a comment, and drawing a distinction between the referenced “pets” and “sex”. Do you have genetic code that tells you to have pets?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 02:59 AM
-1

You do not have a biological imperative to have pets.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 01:15 AM

Then learn to read.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:58 PM
1

Ah yes, let’s jump straight to the cynical interpretation. Must be challenging to live in a world where you’ve dehumanized the opposite sex so much that you can’t even conceive of the possibility that men might be responsive to something other than T&A. Sydney Sweeney is a walking pair of tits, and many adult men are becoming repulsed by being marketed to in that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:55 PM

You sound like someone’s shitty ex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 05:30 PM

Generally her opinion is whatever is the most toxic and dramatic. She’s attention seeking, as always.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/25 10:32 PM

I think you should learn to read and then review your post history. An adult complaining about the kids at her school is pathetic. Makes sense that you’re broke, being as maladjusted as you are. Enjoy!!!

Cool unhinged reply, broke lady.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 06:13 PM

That’s great. Keep complaining that nobody will show up for you while you shit on them. Your social skills are abysmal.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:44 AM

“Brats at (your) school”? How old are you that you’re still hung up on “school”? I go back to my therapist suggestion, but maybe a pediatric psychiatrist would be more appropriate.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:43 AM
1

You’re a teacher? lol!! That’s absolutely awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:40 AM
1

Well you certainly showed me, huh. You were perfectly reasonable and I’m a (checks notes) “bitch-made man”. Like I said, you get to speak for yourself. I’d suggest looking at how you talk to and about other people while you’re trying to figure out why no one wants to show up for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:39 AM
1

Indeed. Ever hear of antisocial personality disorder?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:37 AM

Doesn’t sound like it, honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:35 AM
1

What are my problems? Being a “pet” man?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:32 AM
2

There aren’t a lot of people out there who are going to want to show up for someone who is overtly hostile and devoid of empathy. You talk about empathy like you’re giving it in exchange for something... Based on your comment, I don’t realistically think you know what empathy is, or why it’s important.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:24 AM
1

It’s your choice to use dehumanizing language. Call it an analogy if it makes you feel better to talk that way, it’s still your choice to do so, and it’s still extremely shitty.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:20 AM
1

I have, and I think it’s very obviously because you have some underlying mental health issues that you obviously aren’t adequately addressing. Well-adjusted people do not talk this way. I don’t care if someone else said something similar, you get to speak for yourself. It’s your choice to dehumanize others.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:09 AM
2

The reason some relationships suck is because people, like you, refuse to muster up even the most basic level of empathy for other people, in particular those with male genitalia in this case. Instead, you are prioritizing overt contempt. It’s going to be extremely difficult for someone who chooses to view people this way to have a healthy romantic relationship with anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:07 AM
1

How about you talk to a therapist? Maybe call men useless pets some more, because that’s totally something well adjusted and completely not bitter women do. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 03:59 AM
2

Do you think your behavior is a good example of how human beings should act? I believe you called men “pets”? There’s clearly some sort of underlying personality disorder at play here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 03:53 AM
1

This person does not volunteer.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 03:49 AM
3

You think men want to be in relationships with women who disrespectfully characterize them as useless “pets”? Sounds like you have nothing to offer. Pass. I’d 100% rather jerk off and talk to chatGPT 10/10 times than deal with that toxic headache.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 03:48 AM
1

Yet here you are. Yap yap yap. Fortunately, I’m not obligated to respond to every ass backwards thing you decide to poop out of your mouth. I’m happy to point out the obvious ignorance of some of the comments though. I would respond to your questions if they weren’t almost all absurd straw men you’ve created because you don’t understand basic English.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:59 PM
1

And it’s still an airway issue. Just because airway issues are more prevalent during sleep, does not make it not primarily an airway issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:42 PM
1

Are you really this illiterate?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:37 PM
1

Yes, the idea of masking kids while they are sleeping is insane, as is the idea of masking anyone while they are sleeping. The fact that this I’d apparently what you’re arguing against is probably more a commentary on your inability to understand basic English.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:34 PM
1

That’s nice. Good luck with your misinformed viewpoints, miss anti-woke crusader.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:28 PM
1

I usually have my phone with me. It’s very convenient. Listen, I don’t think you’re able to look at any of this with objectivity. Your viewpoint seems to have more to do with not being “woke” than it does actually understanding a public health issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 06:18 AM
1

I don’t particularly care about copy/paste opinions.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 06:07 AM
1

Yes, which is why making a recommendation to not wear a mask based on a lack of information would be considered negligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 06:04 AM
1

And, yet again, “not showing evidence in support of (x)” is not the same as “shows evidence against support for (x)”. It basically means “I don’t know”.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 05:59 AM

You cited a bunch of stuff that you did not understand the conclusion of, and then some opinion junk. Don’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 05:52 AM
-2

Given that’s not actually what I said, do you hear yourself? Can you read? (Nope!) You very obviously don’t actually care about the issue of sexual assault beyond your ability to try to use it to troll online.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 04:44 AM
-1

Blame or fault isn’t going to protect you from being murdered or raped if that’s the situation you find yourself in. If that’s not your preferred outcome, then you have a responsibility to yourself to attempt to mitigate these potentialities, just like everyone else. I know how you hate personal responsibility, but that’s the reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 04:25 AM

I’m just identifying you as a foul toad person who doesn’t actually care about the things you pretend to care about. You make a game about calling people rapists or whatever, but there are people (women) that I care about who have been actual victims of sexual assault, and I don’t think they’d think it’s quite as amusing as you seem to. This subject is obviously a hobby to you, but it’s real life for many people. Ever have to interact with someone who’s just been raped? I have. I also have a cou…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 04:18 AM
-1

Keep rolling those dice and that’s exactly what you’ll accomplish. Casually throwing around accusations like that is wrong, and cheapens the issue for real victims of sexual assault who are taken less seriously in the presence of casually frivolous accusations. You claim to care about women, so put your money where your mouth is, or don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 04:16 AM
-1

I think that’s a strong statement to make for the sake of trolling men online. Casually labeling someone a rapist or pedophile, when you don’t know that to be true, could be considered libel. You throw this stuff around like it’s no big deal, and it can literally ruin someone’s life. It’s extremely morally dubious behavior on your part. But hey, as long as you get to exert your grief on perfect strangers, I guess it’s ok. Right?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 03:52 AM
1

Well it definitely hasn’t been this month.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 02:55 AM

Because you obviously have something wrong you that has allowed you to become an incredible toxic and prejudiced person. It’s an extremely strong indication you’d be a poor quality partner. It’s safe to assume that some of the pathologically toxic behaviors you constantly put on display here are present in your family life as well, and your husband and son are likely worse off for it. Congrats! 👍 I’m guessing this has at least something to do with why you currently spend your time rage-commentin…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:10 AM

She’s a moron. She comments on almost every single comment in every thread, apparently. I actually haven’t yet found a single thread in this post that she hasn’t commented on. I’m not sure she has anything better to do. You should read some of her other comments, they’re generally awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:58 AM

There is something deeply wrong with you that you can’t help but make comments like this. Maybe low key accusing people of being rapists is fun for you or something, I dunno, but it’s so extremely creepy. Dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:51 AM
1

Yup, and that’s a very logically distinct concept from whatever else you’re loading on top of it. Your choices (about anything) are your responsibility. This includes who you choose to expose yourself to. Do you honestly think men do not have to constantly make this consideration as well? Humans having to be frequently mindful and wary of other humans isn’t exactly new…

Reddit police!!! I edit my posts until I’m happy with them. Grammar, spelling, clarity. I don’t edit substance after a reply. I’m sorry that offends you, but I don’t care.

Ok, well, 🤷‍♂️. They’re there.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:03 PM

There are others, don’t worry. Have a great day. I quoted you in specificity in at least 2-3 comments, you just didn’t pay attention because you don’t actually care about being respectful to men, so how could anything I say possibly matter? The fundamental premise of these interactions on your part is rooted in disrespect. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t need your respect, but I’m def gonna give you mine in its absence
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:48 PM

It’s terrible behavior to identify you as a bigot? Ok. Cool. More comments about men? You could make fun of handicapped kids or minorities maybe?

Please see my post history on the topic for direct quotes, thanks!

You’re obviously not familiar with all of the comments made here. I think when someone widely and recurrently describes men as losers or whatever, you can reasonably wonder what prejudices are driving those comments. Unfortunately, many (not all) women here are highly prejudiced against men, and it shows with the thrum of disrespect present in these threads. I’d say the same thing about many men here who do the same. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that people be able to talk about gen…

I think I have a pretty good idea what I’ve commented on, being the one typing the actual comments and all.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:38 PM
3

I’m not familiar with that comment, and wouldn’t agree or disagree with it, because I have no idea. However I understand why someone would say shitty things about your marriage in response to some of the things you commonly say about men. If you’re gonna figuratively slap someone in the face, they probably won’t want to be your friend afterwards. Social skills are a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:36 PM

That’s very plainly not what that comment says. Is it fun to just make things up? Do you find lying to be a useful tool? You’re either dishonest, or can’t read, and neither of those things is a compliment.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:31 PM
2

And yet i have. I’ve quoted you directly.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:22 PM

I’m not going to treat you with respect, you don’t reciprocate. Wanna make some more comments about men?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:20 PM
9

And yet you’re the only one saying that here… Are you sure all these judgments you think other people are making aren’t actually just yours? You seem to project a WHOLE lot onto people. I don’t think you understand other people or yourself very well.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:17 PM

No, my evidence that you’re misandrist is the constant stream of gendered insults in your comments. I’ve already specified some of these comments to you. You wanna pretend like it’s fine and good to act like that? Great, that’s your issue, not mine. Lemme tell you what you’ll never get in response to that sort of constant commentary: actual dialogue. You’re just as bad as the toxic red pill men you complain about. Opposite side of the same coin.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 10:11 PM

I’ve already done so in my prior comments, I’m not doing things on repeat to satisfy you simply because you can’t manage to read a comment.

I’d start with a dictionary and pursuing a functional basic understanding of English words.

Yeah, that’s very literally not at all the same thing at all. Learn to read, angry toxic lady,
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 09:53 PM

Stop choosing shitty men and then complaining that they don’t treat you well. Makes you look impotent and helpless. Victimhood isn’t as good of a look as you think it is. If it’s important to you that you be treated well and that’s not what you’re finding, then correctively refine your criteria. Lots of people out there who will mistreat you, men and women, and they aren’t going to openly identify themselves to you. It’s your responsibility to identify them if you want to avoid them, and nobody …

I’ve never had been insulted for being in a relationship by some manosphere guy. I have been insulted for simply being a man by women in this sub. There are a few good ones, but most of you need to get off social media and take a breath. Let’s normalize expecting women here to act like adults, instead of petulant children with anger issues and diapers full of bitterness. 😢😢😢

Any more comments about men you’d like to make?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 09:17 PM

Cool. I think anyone with half a brain can understand those comments to be insulting and targeted at men. Most people here aren’t communicating in good faith, so it’s not surprising to me to hear you claim that this is all fine and good. These are not genuine efforts to communicate with any earnestness.

Narrator: She did not
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 08:24 PM

Might as well delve into make-believe pseudo-science then, I guess. /s Your original comment was just you complaining about wokeness and that we made kids wear masks. No specificity of years, no granularity on the issue. Then you went on to misunderstand a bunch of sources you tried to cite. 😢

You’re so obviously miserable and terminally online. Like go outside or something. Ranting and raving at men online, but yeah, you’re totally happy. 🙄 Obviously miserable person is miserable. The most transparent thing in the world. Maybe tell us what your IQ is again, or how many degrees you have, while you angrily rant about how happy you are. Edited for fun. 🤷‍♂️ Stay tuned for smooth brain reply below. 😢

You bring abuse up with some thinly disguised perverse glee, like you’re happy about it or something. It’s kinda creepy. Maybe you find victim hood more gratifying than you find abuse horrifying, I dunno, talk to a therapist about it, not my problem thankfully.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 08:18 PM

Again, are we talking 2020? 2022? 2024? Recommendations we gave people were different depending on the phase of the pandemic. If you want to pretend that wasn’t the case, then you’re just being willfully stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:45 PM

Again treating Covid like it was always the same or followed a straight line. You don’t understand the disease process or presentation. Arguing about 2022 like it was the same as 2020 is dumb. Mortality rates plummeted spring 2022. I know because I was there, and you weren’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:39 PM

“Not recommending” is not the same as “recommending not”. You don’t seem to understand why that matters, and that’s one big reason why you’re misunderstand what you’re reading.

Oh, ok. Maybe you can tell everyone again how happy, smart, and totally not sexist you are? Nice toxic personality you have there.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:28 PM

That’s not exactly how this has gone. Maybe say some more shitty things about men to feel better.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:27 PM
5

Sometimes, but usually I don’t read your posts because they are all similarly hateful and angry. I never see you engage in good faith or with anything but chronic disrespect towards men. I’m sure you have many legitimate gripes for the way you are treated as a black woman, and I’m sorry you have those experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:26 PM

That’s a broad qualifier that you have used to widely sling bitter insults at men in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:22 PM

Wasn’t commenting on that and I didn’t read those posts. Talk to yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:19 PM

Other women might not be misandrists, but you absolutely are. You’re obviously incensed and unhappy, I don’t need you to tell me that when you opt to behave the way that you do.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:19 PM

I wasn’t talking about you. Though, you’re like top 3 of the most bitter hateful women here.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:17 PM

Not really, I just initially responded to a comment about you being incensed about being called a misandrist, and then you act very much like a hateful bully. I’m just pointing it out, so there isn’t any confusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:16 PM
3

That’s great, but I’m not sure who was talking about IQ aside from you. Do you think having a college degree makes you smart? I have 2 BS and a MS, so what? Know what smart people don’t typically do? Tell everyone how smart they are. Here comes more hateful comments about men! Yeah, totally not a misandrist. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:14 PM

Yet you’re kind of a bully yourself. Funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:07 PM
1

You keep talking about how great your life is? If it were really that great, you wouldn’t be here raging at men and screaming about how great your life is. Happy people with great lives tend to not behave that way, so it’s pretty transparent.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:03 PM
3

You “don’t spew anything at men in general”, men who “are angry losers who deserve to be marginalized”? I get the impression that you’re not very smart. At best you’re just a bad faith actor venting your rage at men on Reddit. Like, how about laying off with the hateful sexist bullshit?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:52 PM
2

That’s great. You take issue with being called a misandrist, and then spew toxic bile at men in general. I seriously doubt you have everything you want, because this is not how happy well-adjusted people casually treat other humans. You’re obviously angry, but it’s just not helpful. You need to practice some self awareness, but I doubt you will because it’s easier to lazily be righteously angry. Like I said, it’s unreasonable to expect positive reactions to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:46 PM
2

Well it certainly sounds like you have a great life, being apparently bitter and chronically hostile. Truly, the mark of happiness. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:39 PM

So you seem completely awful. Congrats, you’ve clearly demonstrated why you’re being labeled the way you are. Is someone actually supposed to have a positive response to comments like these?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:34 PM
2

This particularly hateful reply is probably exactly the sort of thing that is leading to you being labeled a misandrist. If you honestly can’t see your own behavior here, then you’re pretty unaware of yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:29 PM
4

I can’t really comment on your behavior, I’m just saying that people don’t identify others as misandrists for the things you’ve mentioned, so you’re coming across as disingenuous and very uncritical/unaware of yourself. My guess is you’re kind of an a-hole to the men here, like many of the other ladies in this sub, and they don’t like it, which should surprise exactly no one. How about just being nicer to people.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:19 PM
3

Wow, that’s a load. I highly doubt you’re being very truthful about what issue people are having with you. Nobody is calling you a misandrist for “advocating for women’s equality” or “being a happily married feminist” unless you’re being a huge a-hole about it (as many women here are).

“Anti-woke” was the gateway. Now here we are, finally arrived at the concluding destination: “overtly stupid” Congrats on your journey. Is “anti-woke” the same as “illiterate”?

The way you are presenting it and using it to support your assertion, yes, it’s misinformation. You are either intentionally or unintentionally distorting what you are finding online. That blurb of text you posted also reads a lot like an opinion piece.

Masking adults and kids made sense at the time, period. Both with the information we had then, and the information we have now. You’re just wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 08:42 PM
1

COVID did not follow a straight line, and different mitigation efforts were more or less important at different times during the various surges. Pretending that’s not the case doesn’t further your argument. Masking kids and adults always had its place when masking was more important. The version and severity of the disease you would have contracted in 2020-2022, is not the same thing you will contract today. This actually drives a lot of misinformation and covid denial, because people can look a…

When the volume of death becomes what it did, common sense dictates more caution, not less. A communicable illness that frequently resulted in death is a whole lot more black and white than people with no self control eating too much. It’s a lot more harmless to incorrectly theorize about weight loss strategies, than it is to incorrectly theorize how to not die of COVID. Being fat doesn’t kill your neighbor or parents. I’m also not a Democrat, and I fail to see the correlation between this post …

It’s not that I disagree with it, it’s that you’re just wrong. You even seem to confuse respirators with masks. Sorry, you just don’t actually know what you’re talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 05:32 AM
1

Uh, there is a lot of evidence that masking in kids is effective… I’m not sure any one is arguing for kids to wear respirators, but you know how goal posts like to move (/s). Cherry picking a few inconclusive studies whose main conclusion is “I dunno because we lack xyz evidence” is hardly a substantial argument. I think your viewpoints, in addition to being misinformed and lacking critical thinking, are really more of an indicator of the privilege of not having had to deal with the death and lo…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 03:44 AM

Kids not keeping masks on in no way negates their effectiveness when properly used by any age range. Your argument is weak, nonspecific, and uninformed. You clearly don’t like the idea of kids wearing masks, which is obviously informing the information you choose to seek out. Ultimately, you have little to no idea what you’re talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 03:19 AM
1

And your information is actually wrong, because you don’t seem to be able to critically evaluate the stuff you’re finding online. There is no medical basis for your argument, it’s complete nonsense. Regardless of whether they ultimately die, kids absolutely spread Covid, and masks work to prevent the spread of Covid for anyone with lungs and mucous membranes, regardless of age. Do you think that kids have magical immune systems that prevent them from shedding the COV19 virus? During the initial …

You continue to misinterpret. The issue isn’t a woman debating me triggers me, the issue is that you argue in bad faith, and can’t actually respond to my comments as written. It makes this a waste of time, and means I don’t respect you nor do I think you have well considered viewpoints.

It’s also obvious this was never a good faith dialogue from the start on your part, so I just won’t be using any extra effort to satisfy you here. I like my job, I’m a nurse, but you can certainly insult me about working shifts if you like. Does it make you feel better?

Well, simply saying something doesn’t make it true, so there’s that. You focus so much on hating groups, it’s pretty easy to identify your comments as projection. You’re talking to yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 09:16 PM

Quote? You were going to quote me before but never did. I think if you’re going to suggest I said something, it should be pretty easy to find a quote. You’re obviously confused, unsurprisingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 08:51 PM

No, I described one person in particular that way. The generalizations you’re hearing are 100% in your head.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 08:41 PM
1

Despite the fact that I haven’t said anything about women as a generalized group. I don’t have negative opinions about women in general, but I have pretty overtly negative opinions about the women (and men) in this particular sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 08:37 PM
1

I think broadly labeling people RP or whatever is in the realm, and indicates the type of discourse you pursue. People here don’t actually talk to each other, they target each other with the grief they feel towards some toxically caricatured version of what they imagine men or women are like. That’s what I am observing here, and I don’t think it’s a super cool way to be regardless of your gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 08:13 PM

I don’t care about your life and poor judgment. I’m not hypothesizing about the quality of your life outside of the normal parts of being a single parent. None of this is important to me.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 06:59 PM

That’s your own statement and doesn’t really relate to what I’ve said. You’re inserting SO much imagined sentiment into my posts that just isn’t there. I’d focus on the words I’ve actually posted, and less on imagining whatever viewpoints you seem to think I hold.

I don’t find blame style judgments very productive. You can be “right” all you want, and still have your life damaged by your own poor judgment, as she apparently has. You win the same prize, a hard life as a single parent.

That doesn’t mean that everything is relevant just because they have a distant origin in common. Something with modern cultural relevance? That’s more or less a new topic. The Bible is culturally relevant, but not practically so as a work of literature beyond that. I’d argue the same thing for the Torah and Quran. In broad terms, I don’t find any of them particularly relevant outside of the delusions of religious folks, and how those delusions impact us through the resulting human behavior. So y…

Well, you have a brain capable of developing critical thinking skills, so I’m not sure why you need a crystal ball. Like anything else, where you work, where you live, what you eat, etc., women need to be giving better consideration towards who they have sex and reproduce with if they want to avoid negative outcomes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 11:06 PM
2

Then you’re either insulated from current western culture in some way, or are oblivious to the social messaging being directed at you as a member of a gender group. These are decades old tropes at this point. I was aware of this crap as a teenager 20 years ago, exposed to it regularly growing up at home and school, and it shows up daily in this sub.

How about gay men? Are rates of physical abuse between gay men vs gay women comparable? I’m not sure stress and poor mental health is a great excuse for abuse, regardless of your sexual orientation or diagnoses. Maybe we should apply this same logic specifically to male perpetrators of abuse to really drive home the absurdity.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 10:45 PM

Yeah, because those women chose bad mates who didn’t support their children. It’s these women’s practical responsibility to try to make better choices for themselves and their children.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 10:35 PM

The difference is that we haven’t been told our whole lives overt lies about how great male nature is. The behavior of modern women wildly contrasts with the way women have generally been characterized for as long as I can remember (emotionally intelligent, egalitarian, benevolent, etc), but women widely still expect to enjoy the perks of these positive characterizations. Sorry ladies, you’re a bunch of trashbag humans like the rest of us.

Grace and empathy to justify domestic violence among lesbian couples? As far as I’m concerned, it’s poor form to try to justify physical abuse, regardless of the background of the participants. If they had to fight so hard for relationships that are so important and have such a heavy social implications, then why are lesbians just as likely as straight women to initiate divorce and end the relationship? I thought it was men’s fault? Honestly, at this point it just looks like many women aren’t so…

I don’t think you actually know why you’re unhappy. You seem to want someone to blame, because you don’t know how to practically interact with the issues otherwise. It’s easy to be a victim, you just need a villain. Convenient to have all of these men around who apparently deserve mistreatment. /r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 11:02 PM

I’m not sure your lack of self awareness or practical understanding of what you are saying is the same as me being a liar. You should keep telling us how men deserve to be treated, and what they should be ok with, because you perceive women to have it worse in some way or another.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 11:00 PM

Personal attacks? You’re posting this crap on Reddit yourself. Am I supposed to take your posts and draw the conclusion that you’re a well adjusted person? You’re toxic as hell, and that’s why your relationships aren’t working.

Would you say I’m being an “oversensitive twit”, like you’ve said about men who are victims of sexual assault? Do you think I’m under the impression that I’m going to change the opinion/behavior of someone who openly says things like that? You lack the self awareness required to have any sort of a grounded view of these issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 10:16 PM

You heard it here guys, sexual assault against men isn’t important because it happens more to women. If that bothers you, you’re being an “oversensitive twit”. This person obviously has a very grounded world view (/s).
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 10:10 PM

I think making sexist generalizations and justifying casual mistreatment (because men are “worse” or some other qualifying judgment) falls firmly in the category of “treating people poorly”.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:56 PM
1

lol, I don’t care what you think of men. However, given the amount of dysfunctional self-esteem issues and projection at play, I do want to put your comments in appropriate context. I had the same conversation with a low self-esteem guy(!) on here a few weeks ago who was projecting his grief onto women because he was (in his words) “ugly”. If you want to let your poor self-esteem facilitate poor treatment of others, that’s your deal I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:52 PM

1) K 2) Actually, it was this topic/thread 3) You’re being bitter and leaning into some low self-esteem dysfunction to justify weird sexist comments about half the population. That’s not the same as “being realistic”.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:32 PM
2

Glad to see you know my motives 🙄, though not sure you’ve ever come across as genuinely interested in the topic so much as flinging shit at men. You’re certainly not the first person to project low self-esteem issues onto the opposite sex without considering why that may not be a super positive thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:27 PM
1

A) Reddit is a discussion forum. If you don’t want replies, you’re in the wrong place. B) YOU brought up the personal issues yourself in this thread, not me. The fact that low self esteem is generally associated with maladaptive perceptions and social behaviors is just a peripheral fact worth pointing out given the overt sexism you demonstrate with your comments.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:14 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:32 PM
1

No, I’m actually being pretty direct here about identifying your sexism.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:18 PM

You brought them up in this thread. It seems like “personal issues” became a lot less personal when you seem to use them to justify how you treat half the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:17 PM

Indeed. Notice how I can differentiate between my own opinions and some notion of objective reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:16 PM

Your ungrounded viewpoints do not represent reality, but they do represent a hostile gender bias. I don’t care how ugly you think you are, you’re going to have a hard time being uglier than the foul things you spout off about here.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:10 PM

“Men started it“ seems pretty representative of your viewpoints, so I’m guessing an “actual response” wouldn’t be materially different in content.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:07 PM

So because you perceive men’s generalizations to have a more negative impact, your generalizations are somehow more valid and acceptable? Great.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 07:05 PM

I’m mostly mad that woman haven’t been legally forced to have sex with or marry us. I thought that’s what we were doing here, fellas? At least that’s what I hear we’re up to based on about 1/3rd of the comments made by women here. I just want to be clear, I’m exclusively here for the legally mandated sexual slavery of women for the sake of my own male gratification, obviously because I’m a short incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 06:45 PM
1

I don’t necessarily always find retributive justice to be very just, but congrats on rooting your views of gender issues in reactivity. It should be exactly 0% surprising that men do not respect your viewpoints, because people don’t like being casually shat on by specifically bitter women. Sorry you’re “ugly”, sorry you’ve had some bad experiences. I would still suggest you make an effort to treat others better, rather than lean into sexism to validate whatever grief you’re carrying around.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 06:40 PM
1

Is “more often” enough to generalize to an entire gender? You are doing a great job of feeding right into other people’s point that women don’t like being generalizing about, and react defensively when they encounter it, but you’re more than eager to make some really foul generalizations about men. I’d have more respect for your viewpoint if it wasn’t firmly grounded in sexism.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 06:33 PM

I agree, everyone has insecurities, but you need to learn to cope and not project that on other people, because it will drive them away every time. Coping skills are skills, they can be practiced. Some people won’t be successful in getting what they want, sure. You can guarantee that by torpedoing yourself before you get out of the gate. I don’t see the point in doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 09:47 AM

No, I don’t. I think some people are too damaged and mentally unwell for stable romantic relationships, for various reasons. Insecurity is also so incredibly toxic, men and women. An average guy should work on his social skills, and get regular exposure to the people he wants to be around. Looking better can only help. I have a partner currently, but I’ve met a lot of people at work (healthcare) just by being there and having to interact with them as a matter of routine. I absolutely don’t sugge…

Listen dude, judging by your post history, you have some very serious self esteem and confidence issues. Even if you were more physically attractive, your extreme bitterness is repulsive to the people you want to attract. Certainly acting like a dipshit and whining like a child on Reddit isn’t going to improve your life. Do what you want. Honestly, I’m just grateful I’m not you.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 08:40 AM

I work primarily with women, they ARE better socialized. It’s reflected in education and recreation from early age through adulthood. Most guys are not 9/10 or 10/10 Zach Effron. If you want to be salty because women aren’t laying themselves at your feet at a similar rate with no effort on your part, then you’re gonna keep being salty because that’s not going to change. You need to develop some grounded expectations. Bitterness is not going to help you attract people, regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 08:36 AM
1

Uh, yeah, they do fine with women with no social skills. Women tend to be better socialized than men. Even attractive guys generally have to be charming. You can’t just be a fat load of socially maladaptive shit and expect women to fawn over you.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 08:27 AM

Putting in effort like not being fat, having social skills, and being accessible? Yeah, huge effort. Jesus Christ. Dude, you need help.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 08:19 AM

You need to get off the internet and go outside. Yes, times are tough online, but some of you guys are your own worst enemies. /r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 07:55 AM

I didn’t say mediocre, I said average. Average isn’t bad unless you’re on a dating app, and that’s more of a recent development. Manage your weight/health, develop decent social skills, establish regular contact with women (preferably in-person), and things will probably happen for ya unless you have some other hurdle. That’s my experience anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 07:30 AM

This is just my opinion, but it’s more and more the case as I get older. I’m generally average looking, I’ve dated a lot of women, and some of my least favorites were the most physically attractive. Honestly, I’ve grown averse to many stereotypically “pretty” women anymore, because they often seem to come with an entitled attitude (especially on dating apps) that I simply hate being around. I’m not sure I’d go along with the idea that TikTok is primarily a great dissemination tool for professional information. There is certainly some good content (depending on where you live in the algorithm), but the way those platforms are monetized largely facilitates cheap rapid-fire content and echo chambers. “Public to the world” That was historically the case for most online communication, especially before “social media”. There was more anonymity, but historically very little privacy outside email, and then instant messaging applications. Publicly accessible communication is hardly a distinguishing feature of social media as we know it. If Reddit is social media, then so were web forums, then so was IRC. Was IRC social media? Same. I’ve been with at least a few women who have asked me to treat them violently/roughly in bed. Seemed to accompany issues with parent figures and relationships/attachment. Hard pass. This isn’t even new. Lifetime TV was more or less driven by rape/abuse fantasies. So many women are chronically enthralled by media about domestic violent crime. They all soaked their pants for the 50 Shades of Grey BDSM bullshit. It’s pretty creepy IMO.

That’s fine if that’s the definition you want to work with, but it neglects the fact that there are meaningful and fundamental differences in content and engagement style between Facebook,Instagram,TikTok vs Reddit and web forums. With your definition you can argue that almost the whole internet is social media, because it’s there for everyone to publicly see. I think it’s important to draw a distinction.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:09 PM

I guess you could technically call it social media, but it doesn’t have a ton in common with instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. Reddit is just a concentrated collection of web forums, a concept that has been around far longer than typical social media sites. Aside from modern quality of life features, Reddit is not vastly different from web forums/irc that predate Facebook by ~2 decades.

The average guy is a turd on a log. Have you seen these losers? Modern women are literally QUEENS who deserved 10/10 guys with 10” cocks and 10-figure net worth. Honestly, if you aren’t that, just give up because you’re literally trash.

You seem very committed to your misery. It’s the safe choice of failure. Sure, you never have to risk anything or make an effort to do anything different, but you’ll also be chronically miserable. When you finally realize what you’re doing to yourself, you’ll regret having wasted these years of your life on this.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:25 PM

None of this changes until you make different decisions about what you do and what you tell yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:29 PM

The social skills you develop will help you date assuming you aren’t learning maladaptive strategies from your friends. Some of your friends will also have girlfriends and get married, and this will expand your network. Currently you’re looking for excuses to not make an effort, and that isn’t helping you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:08 PM

I get the strong impression that you aren’t making much of an effort to change anything or do anything different. Does complaining about it make you feel better? Do you think that this problem will solve itself? You’d do well to adopt some rationality and approach this with a problem solving mentality. The world doesn’t need to be fair for you to be able to productively engage a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:11 PM

What matters is the quality of your social skills, not how sexually experienced you are. You become a victim of bullying and biases when you project your insecurity about these issues and present yourself as a vulnerable target. Again, the solution is to improve your social SKILLS. Like any other skill, you improve with practice, and you need social opportunities to practice those skills. School, classes, clubs, work, etc. Yes it’s uncomfortable, but nothing will change just complaining online, …

Honestly, this is an extremely socially awkward take. If you’re looking for reasons for people to look down on you, you’re going to find them, and people will like you less because of that sort of bitterness. It will also likely drive away potential partners. Despite what you think, people frequently engage in platonic interactions without considering someone else’s sex life. It just doesn’t matter in most situations. Go talk to some people and practice some better quality social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:40 PM

These same comments could apply equally to women. Doesn’t specifically mention violence of any particular kind. Could be emotionally violent acts, false accusations of abuse or assault, family court stuff, financial stuff, plain old physical violence, etc. Violence against men is not worth being concerned about? I’ve personally been subject to physical violence more frequently by women than men. There’s a pretty disgusting permissiveness to female on male violence that your viewpoint only facili…

Oh shut up. You’re trying to make sense of something, but reading a study is too difficult, so you need it in the form of a video? Are you incapable of searching YouTube/TT? Women reliably choose from a restrictively narrow slice of their total options, then complain and blame everyone else when they can’t identify a suitable match. Boo hoo, truly. It’s a mixed bag. Some women are reading it in a more benign way, and some women are very much taking the more offensive interpretation. I’m probably not going to spend much more time pointlessly identifying something to you that you’re obviously intent on adversarially rejecting. I don’t consider that a particularly productive way to communicate, and my interest level in bickering isn’t super high at this moment.

I actually don’t think that is a particularly offensive or indecent thing to say. I think it becomes indecent when people say they’d rather risk being ripped apart by a bear than walk by a random male hiker on a trail. There is a very distinct implied insult therein that I think is worth appreciating if you want to understand men’s reaction to that hypothetical.

I’m certainly wouldn’t expect women to be quiet about their experiences. I just don’t think that women discussing sexual assault issues, and extending common decency to men as a group, are mutually exclusive. I think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect both. Comparing men (as a group) to bears in a derogatory way certainly does not meet that standard. I’m not commenting on your experience. In terms of the topic of women intentionally insulting men on wide scale with bizarre hypotheticals, no, this is not very important to me. This is a lot like asking a woman to stop considering her safety walking at night. (Responding to the last paragraph ) I hope you can appreciate that this is similar for men too. There are a lot of men’s issues that we don’t openly address as a society. There are a lot of women’s issues that we do address openly as a society. I’m not sure you speak for all women, but you seem to speak for a certain subset that doesn’t care about the implications they are making about men in general. If the question is about preference for death over being raped, then I think you can probably address the topic without broadly identifying men as rapists. As it stands, the hypothetical is specifically targeted at men in an intentionally insulting way, and I think people should be better than that.

I think poking fun at someone claiming in apparent seriousness that men should reimburse women for the cost of their makeup on a date is pretty justifiable. So you think men should pay for strange women’s choice in makeup I guess? Meanwhile, you’d also rather get mauled by a bear than walk by a male stranger on a hiking path. Wow.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:37 PM

Here’s my experience as a man. I can’t talk to children without being concerned about being labeled a pedophile. I can’t walk behind a woman in a hallway without thinking about being perceived as a threat. And now I guess I can’t even go hiking without being pre-identified as a rapist. My narrative is that women generalize men as being violent sex offenders, and it’s morally wrong. I don’t care about your options, you’re free to be mauled by a bear, you can just exercise that option without being prejudicially sexist.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:07 PM

I think you conflate the common sentiment that normal non-violent men not wanting to be labeled violent rapists as meaning they want you to be ok being raped vs killed. The hypothetical makes some pretty insulting implications about men in general, that I’m sure you’re capable of understanding, and men are entitled to their own feelings about it that aren’t necessarily about you. If we’re being completely honest, many men probably wouldn’t want to walk by you (a strange woman) on a hiking path e…

Discrimination and sexism are not exclusive to employment or voting. Treating people worse based on gender is discriminatory. Implying that’s bear is safer than a man is insulting and sexist. These are not vague concepts.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:44 PM

Actually, it’s specifically discrimination/sexism when the basis for not wanting to deal with a person is their gender/sex. That’s very literally what those words mean.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 06:48 PM

You’re going to have to reconcile your need for security with the fact that relationships are frequently messy. With experience you learn to discern the good prospects from the bad. If your strategy is going to be essentially to lock up your partner, you’re not going to get much experience because you’re not going to find many willing partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 06:27 PM

I never said anything was foolproof or not, you did. I think if you’re looking for things that are foolproof in life, especially when it comes to relationships, you’re going to be looking for a very long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 06:16 PM

Do you think that preventing someone from going to the beach is a foolproof way to protect yourself from being cheated on? Honestly dude, you have a very poor understanding of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 06:08 PM
9

You are clearly inexperienced (observation not insult). Trust is a skill. You learn, with experience, how to understand people, and to identify those in which your trust is a good investment. You cannot make someone who is untrustworthy magically trustworthy by barring them from recreation. That’s not how cheating works, and it’s just not how people work. Yes, a cheater will unintentionally show you signs that indicate they are a cheater.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:52 PM

Do you think the only place people cheat or drink alcohol is at the beach? People cheat all the time, you’re not going to prevent it by barring someone from going to the beach. You prevent it by learning to screen cheaters, period.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:43 PM

The way you prevent it from occurring is not getting into or staying in a relationship with someone you can’t trust to go on vacation with friends. If you are staying in relationships with people you can’t trust, you are the problem.

That men are more of a physical liability than a wild animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:19 AM

You do it by not making sexually prejudiced generalizations. This is not complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:13 AM

Tell you how not to make gross generalizations based on sex? That’s more of an English 101 problem, and I’m not sure this is the venue for addressing that sort of deficit.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:00 AM
2

Discuss it however you want. I think you’re probably capable of discussing these topics in a less gender generalized way, but you obviously aren’t interested in extending common decency to half of the population, so what minds am I going to change by debating you? You want to punish men, ok, great, have fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:52 AM

Are you having trouble with context? Here’s context: people don’t like being treated with sexual prejudice. You’d think women would be able to understand the concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:45 AM

It’s “dumping” when “some men” (being sexually/physically violent) is casually generalized into “men”. This is real simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:41 AM

So the only two options are men’s feelings are hurt, or women are allowed to consider their own safety? That’s completely reasonable /s

That’s nice. It’s also not what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:31 AM
2

It’s obvious that you don’t understand. Take it however you want. My primary feeling on the matter is annoyance that some women feel entitled to retributive justice by treating men like violent rapists. It’s funny that you seemingly prefer my feelings be hurt. Why is that?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:29 AM

I think you understand what I’ve said. I’m not going to debate with you about why prejudice and discrimination are wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:24 AM

There is a huge difference between talking about sexual assault as a realistic concern, and generalizing that behavior to half of the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:15 AM

Not exactly, you’ve phrased those items in a very specific way. No, I do not see why it is unacceptable to request that someone (women) not unfairly characterize people (men) as being a violent sex offenders based solely on their sex. Why is it so important to you to casually dump on men?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:02 AM

Seems like there is a very explicit “concrete request” for consideration: Stop casually characterizing half of the human race as violent rapists. It’s wrong, morally and factually.

It’s certainly your life to do with what you please, it just seems sad to me. I meet a lot of chronically single people through work, and most of them are more and more unhappy the older they get, women are no exception. The people who are older, single (usually widowed), and not unhappy, are parents. People aren’t meant to be alone, despite what is popular on TikTok among people young enough to not know any better.

lol, ok man. Here’s something obvious I’m just going to point out: secure masculine men typically don’t have to advertise how masculine they are. It’s called overcompensation, and it’s the same giveaway that indicates these women aren’t really that happy being single. In general, people who go out of their way to advertise themselves as a thing, are more often the opposite.

Your refusal to do that means you’ll continue interacting with men that don’t actually serve your interests. Blame tends to be a poor solution to most problems, so blaming men probably isn’t going to solve this problem for you. There are realistically lots of good quality men out there that you could be compatible with in a relationship, most of them just aren’t rich and 7 feet tall. /r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:49 PM

This is a big projection. I’ve never advocated for being in a bad relationship. I’ve suggested that women who are after stable adult relationships widen their nets to find better quality partners, and not be so flippant about being long term single given the negative social implications. One of the problems I see here it’s a very transactional view of relationships on your part. If your focus is always “what can you do for me”, you are going to have a much harder time understanding people, and s…

Very egocentric perspective to assume that women are giving men what they want. Online dating is very much a hellscape for most men, they are absolutely not getting what they want. To make that assumption demonstrates a complete ignorance of what the dating process generally looks like for men. Women are giving a very small subset of certain men what they want (sex), and those men aren’t reciprocating with more serious interest. So instead of adjusting their standards to increase their chances o…

I think, with the level of maturity you demonstrate, that’s a pretty liberal use of the word “woman”. I was actually amazed to learn that you were 28, and not a Disney-riddled pre-teen, given the content of your posts.

I’m happy to continue to point out that you’re exceptionally entitled and mistreating your boyfriend, behaviors clearly fed by your insecurity. Qualify it however you want, child.

Naa, this brand of immaturity is unoriginal and predictable, and you share way too much info online, so it’s not exactly mysterious either. The surprising part is that you’re not a teenager and are still acting this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 11:04 PM

And with that I go back to my initial comment. Being a “spoiled princess” making minimum wage is not a positive thing, and most good quality men do not and will not want someone like that. How exactly did you earn it? You didn’t, you’re just pathologically entitled and low-key taking advantage of someone. In this case it sounds like you’re afforded the role of “spoiled princess” as a result of your boyfriend’s current and likely temporary desperation having never had a girlfriend before. He live…

We have 4 dogs, so I understand the rental issue. The problem with living somewhere where apartments are $650, is that it's not actually that cheap in reality. Income generally correlates with real estate costs (rental included), but there's a huge opportunity cost to stay in those areas, and people in those ("hick town" as you put it) areas tend to be mired in poverty without much income or geographic mobility. All it will take is one injury and you'll have to rethink some of that "I'll take th…

Purpose is important, but living in poverty regardless of purpose is going to drastically impair your quality of life. Your point about dating men who make substantially more than you is really worth thinking about. Certainly not all, but many men who date women who make less than them do so anymore because they like the power that comes with having a disadvantaged partner. It's in your interests to neutralize power differentials in relationships, they are toxic, and finances are a huge source o…

Making $20 in CA would be awful. Housing in Cali, especially socal, is exceptionally expensive. I live in CO, which is cheaper (still expensive), and the support staff I work with who make ~$20 cannot afford to live without help, mostly from their parents. This is why there are so many homeless people in HCOL areas, and people living in their cars despite having jobs. I would not aspire to work for Amazon anything more than short term. They mistreat their workers, who are famously underpaid and …

There’s a difference between already having a job and then keeping it at an older age, and actually getting into that career at an older age. The latter is more difficult. Success is also not guaranteed, and banking that success on the possibility that you will continue to look young after years of drug use and raving is not a very safe bet. In fact it’s a very bad bet. You’re 28, about the age most women start to see the effects of aging. If you only aspire to poverty, then you’re going to have…

By age 40-50 you will have to deal with discrimination and reduced opportunity because of your advanced age compared to your peers in most industries, so yes, there is something wrong with that. I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s the reality. School takes time, so does developing a career. You will be 30 in 2 years. Population decline in developed nations is a concept that exists independently of population increases in the 3rd world. If you want to argue that there is no set of impending economic liabilities because we the population of impoverished Africa is growing, well that’s a pretty dumb argument.

You’re being intentionally dense to hone in on some very uncertain projection of raw future worldwide population. As I and others have clearly said, almost every developed country is currently below replacement fertility rate, and those rates are steadily decreasing. This is a very plainly stated fact. Populations are being propped up by immigration, which carries some pretty significant economic liability. This isn’t even something you can argue against, it’s the current reality. It’s a real te…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 02:10 PM

You’re mostly wrong. Overall population is increasing for now, but you have to look at where those increases are happening. You only really still see reproductive population growth in developing and impoverished countries. Populations in developed nations are being temporarily propped up via immigration. Fertility rates in most developed countries are below replacement (2.1) with very few exceptions. The last time the US was anywhere near replacement rate was around 2008, and it sits at 1.7 now.…

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 09:54 PM

You don’t actually say much, you do imply a lot of things in very stereotypical way while obviously trying to avoid making actual statements you might have to defend. A few points: Saying “statistics” doesn’t mean anything. You’re stupidly pointing to a false correlation with something that arguably doesn’t exist (“men are abusive” in general). It’s ironic that this also comes from someone with a wildly abusive post history. Statistics.

Testosterone and muscles don’t make someone an abuser. That assertion is basically a pronoun reversed, and far more violent version of the sexist idea that women are chronically irrational because of hormones and menstruation. Let’s make an effort to evolve our thinking beyond the 1950s era here. What political power do most men have? The same as you, very little. I don’t know what that statement means. That’s the explanation I got. Maybe she was lying, I don’t know. 3x, 12mos, 2 kids. You have a limited understanding of finance. Your assumptions are fairly irrelevant and baseless.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 11:38 PM

I never said I wasn’t. I specifically said I could leave. The only one talking about anyone not being able to leave is you. My ex separated from her husband 3x in 12mos, with 2 kids, because they didn’t share hobbies. So basically yes. My assets and my income are commingled. You don’t know much about my relationship with this person, or how it does or doesn’t come into play otherwise. Certainly seems you have some conclusions preemptively drawn.

Women should be allowed to leave, they should just take it more seriously imo. My assets grow and are a significant source of my income and spending, and would feed into assets gained during marriage, which muddies the water. It’s not as clear cut as you make it sound. I have assets I don’t want to lose in a no fault divorce. I would have to trust someone an awful lot to risk that exposure, and I have found most people not very trustworthy. I understand where the turn occurred, but I guess I just don’t agree with your assessment of relevance. Because I enjoy pointing out how absurd and poorly argued your points are. You are trying to spin a story because you don't like the idea that men may have valid reasons for not wanting to get married these days. But, instead of try to understand that and form a coherent and relevant reply, suddenly men are broadly rapist robber-barons demanding the right of the first night or something because you have some weird rape fetish.

You're the only one with the weird rape fetish here. He was talking about property rights, which is something that continues to be represented in marriage contracts, so that's a little more relevant than the vague notion of some old-timey husband raping away all night.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 08:34 AM

So what is the point you are trying to make then? Do you have one? You go off on some undirected rant, vaguely and generally referencing historical missteps in the marriage contract, and I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to be taking from your posts other than "I'm mad about stuff."
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 08:25 AM

So he's wrong for not wanting to marry someone who's had sex before marriage? I fail to see where anyone has advocated for a spouse not having rights. Not having rights to alimony? I think you’d be foolish to think that this type of thinking doesn’t permeate both sides of the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 04:08 AM

I think you vastly underestimate how limited most people are. That doesn’t mean they are limited and well intentioned. People do not like challenging their comfortably held beliefs. It’s disappointing, but that’s people, disappointing. Being mad about it isn’t going to make a hugely stupid and selfish portion of the population choose otherwise. They’re still going to be stupid and selfish, you’re just also going to be more unhappy. This isn’t worth wringing your hands aboutX

I had that experience too. I still get comments from some people, but less so as I’ve gotten more comfortable and confident with time. In some ways it’s helpful because you’re just “out there” and can’t hide unless you want to live that hat life (don’t). Comments will typically come from people who knew you with hair and just haven’t adjusted to your new appearance. You will rarely get comments from strangers, and it will bother you less as time goes on. It takes a while, some sun exposure, and …

People tend to seek simple explanations to complex topics. You see this in politics, gender relations, race relations, opinions about professions, and even healthcare issues (Covid especially). Monolithic/black white thinking is easy. It’s a natural intuitive mental shortcut that makes it easy to explain things. Unfortunately, those explanations are not very accurate or critically grounded. Still, it lets people fill in the gaps and make sense of things in their own ways. So “why” is it so commo…

Shave your head. My hair is gone too. Certainly doesn’t help, but it’s probably not the show stopper you think it is. You sound like you have some depression, which unfortunately IS a show stopper. I’ve said many of the same things as you at different times in my life. It’s challenging, messy, and simple “do this and it’s all fixed” suggestions are obviously nonsense. I’m sorry you feel the way that you do. I am happy to talk if you are interested in talking with a weird random dude from the int…

I’m 41yo. If I could go back to any age, it would be 30yo. My romantic life was probably most active and satisfying between ages 30-35. Even now it’s more active than it was at age 25. Don’t squander your time, because it goes away and you don’t get it back. You can learn social skills, but you need regular practice. I used to be painfully shy and severely introverted, but I can basically talk to anyone now primarily as a product of my job (healthcare). I’m still an introvert, but you wouldn’t k…

I am a dude who is a nurse. I came into my current career with the “women the fairer sex” belief that I was raised with. However, I have never seen people be so absolutely foul to each other as I have over the last 8yrs working primarily with women. Doesn’t matter the clinical setting, if there are concentrated groups of women, with rare exception, you can bet they are viciously chewing on someone for their own amusement. My most recent job I had a lot of concerns about one person in particular …

South Korea has a fertility rate of less than 0.8. Approx twice as many people die in a year than are born. The US fertility rate is around twice that, but is rapidly dropping. We were at replacement rate (2.1) about 12 years ago. I guess I’m always curious what people think happens to quality of life on the boot end of an increasingly desperate corporatocracy in the presence of precipitous population decline.

You really take a lot very personally. If I wanted to insult you, it would be very clear, but you’re grasping at these things that really aren’t about you in particular like you’re looking for something to be offended about. Defensiveness tends to be a poor way to communicate and understand people, and you lean way into it. I’m not alleging anything about the conclusions of the investigations into Trump/Russia. I would allege that the election was so incredibly close that any one less of the fac…

I’m not sure discussing topics worth of US congressional oversight is the same as fanning the flames of conspiracy. I spoke about fertility rates in Asia to point out that it is seen as an economic threat in that part of the world, and the fact that we are following the same path means we are going to be exposed to that same risk. The peripheral details about “why’s” vary and don’t change the negative economic implications of unusually low birth rates in current economic context. I did not pose …

They might not need to, but they still do. China currently operates one of the most popular social media apps in the US. Gloss over that if you want. Expect the QAnon bs to ramp up again next year as well, like it usually does in proximity to elections. Like, do you guys not understand that Roe V Wade would still be intact without some of this junk coming into play in 2016?

By making a jab at the OP? Like you understand we’re talking about different things? This is why it doesn’t pay off to interact with people like you, you’re simultaneously not smart enough to understand what you yourself are saying, can’t muster the fortitude to actually risk a real argument, and are arguing in bad faith to begin with. Is it better to be malicious, or stupid? All of the above, I guess.

You made your own analogy about something not related to this topic. My analogy was to show you the logical invalidity of your comment, and why it doesn’t represent or respond to the OP. Am I supposed to be surprised? You’re a troll. Pretty amusing after you got bent out of shape for being accused of arguing in bad faith, which of course you were, and still are.

I don’t know that it has to be proven to every user on Reddit in order to be discussed. Demographic collapse is certainly real enough that’s it’s a current day focus of basically every developed country in Asia, and it’s not because they’re sad that their dudes aren’t getting laid or whatever theory is used to wave that fact away. The birth rate in South Korea is 0.78!!! almost 2x the rate of deaths compared to births. The geopolitical angle is also not just something OP just made up. I’m guessi…

K. Your comment was that the OPs assertion that foreign govts are “inflaming” gender issues is false or “not likely” because women have been complaining about gender issues for decades. Those are two separate ideas with independent truth value. It’s like saying the grocery store was out of wheat bread today because a dog barked at me 2 weeks ago. They do not logically correlate in any causal way. Neither does the jab at the end of your reply. Malice or stupidity?

Lol, ok. Seriously, you’re here to win some argument, not contribute to a conversation. What possible reason would I have to want to feed that MO? I’m aware that you know what you’re saying, and what you’re doing, why should I want to engage you on that level? Because you play dumb to troll? Thanks, but no thanks. Here’s a question. Theoretically, is it better to be malicious, or stupid?

I can! Can you? Here’s a hint. What is your post in response to? What does the OP actually say? You’re a generally combative redditor, so I’m not building my expectations too much here.

Take a guess.

Instead of any sort of thoughtful response, you misrepresent (or misunderstand) his assertion and then end it with a jab. Is that good faith? Your other comments in this thread really aren’t any better.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 04:37 PM
5

And perhaps you should argue in good faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 04:20 PM

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I don’t think that’s a great analogy. Ascribing intent to evolution (that has no intent) is not the same as ascribing intent to foreign governments or social media companies (that do actually have human actors with intent). The information to prove the assertion exists, just not on Reddit as it’s intentionally hidden away by social media companies and foreign governments.

I see the responses to an OP about simple explanations to complex problems, like “this is entirely because of foreign govts”, but I don’t see the OP actually claiming that. I do see an OP citing it as a possible factor, rather than a singular explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 04:03 PM
2

You seem to be misunderstanding the OP, who describes these issues being “inflamed” by Russian/Chinese natl interests rather than “caused” by them. Those are two very different meanings. You seem to be fixated identifying/refuting single-factor explanations to complex multi-factor problems. I’m guessing it’s unintentional, I’m just identifying where the topic you’re discussing diverges from the topic discussed by the OP and broader discussion. You’re basically having a different conversation.

The macroeconomic implications are pretty wild. It blows my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 03:32 PM

So doesn’t that make the inputs into those tech systems relevant as opposed to far fetched?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 03:12 PM

I think this a really excellent take on the destructive force of capitalism, but I’m not sure how it refutes the OPs suggestion. Those magazines and media messages have been around for a long time, while some of the issues being discussed have gotten acutely worse only recently. Multiple things can be true at the same time.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 03:10 PM
5

Multiple things can be true at the same time. We are not talking about monoliths, so why apply that style of logic? (“It’s not those things, it’s this one thing!”) It’s a mental shortcut by people who can’t conceptualize complex topics. Makes things easy to understand, but the derived understanding is severely fractional at best, and ungrounded as a result.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 02:58 PM

Unnecessary for what? Monolithic explanations? These are nuanced and complicated topics related to a variety of social inputs/outputs. Social media as a set of systems provides an overwhelmingly massive number of outputs, shouldn’t the variety of inputs into those systems be considered relevant? Saying “this stuff isn’t relevant” is just as logically invalid as saying “only this stuff is relevant”. It’s complicated, but that means that falling back on mental shortcuts like monolithic thinking is…

The problems we are facing that are starting to affect the western economies are the same sorts of problems that the East has been grappling with for a while now, low birth rates in particular. Fact is that given our economic structures, more individualistic societies, and more democratic leanings, these demographic problems are going to hurt us more than they’re currently hurting them, and they absolutely know it. Look at Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea for a (not quite apples:apples) preview. T…
