Jesus Christ man that's the dumbest thing I've read in a while

Yeah it's as if people want to villifiy these subs. The top comment is literally "This is GOOD news. I hope it is taken as such :) "

Top comment: "This is GOOD news. I hope it is taken as such :) " I don't think it's as bad as you assume

Please stop being so denigrating, it doesn't make you convincing. When you try to make a point by making a comparison, you should pick two things that are actually comparable, which fascism and feminism aren't. That's like comparing apples to oranges because they're both fruits, yet it doesn't mean what applies to one will apply to the other.

Things need similarity for a comparison to be valid.

So you're claiming most feminist hate men? That's equally ridiculous

Which is more the exception than the rule, don't make this into a men vs women thing

Are you seriously comparing feminism to fascism?

I agree with him, feminism as a whole is not anti-man, just like mensrights isn't anti-woman. There are however (too many) cases of people using feminism as a way to discriminate against men.

Maybe where you are, all my past girlfriends and dates offer to pay. Maybe it's my age group, I'm 19, but if someone doesn't pay for anything and expects me to pay every time, that is a huge turn off

Sure, let's just pay 200% of this bill, genius.

I disagree, everyone I've dated or been on dates with has offered to pay so far. Sometime I like to treat someone, but I expect at least an offer to split, otherwise that's just a red flag.

Every girl I have dated has split bills with me. I like treating my girl occasionally, but if they expect me to pay every time they can find someone else

You are reaching really fucking hard with that mainstream media thing, but assume all you want, I'm a European student and I couldn't care less about your liberal vs conservative culture war. Shutting someone up because they are 'mansplaining' is sexist, clear and simple. If it is how they are saying something, name that specific problem. It is a really annoying and derogatory term that drives a wedge between men and women for no reason

Where do you get that defending equal rights gets you looked down on from mainstream media? Because that's all that's happening here

It's not just a word, it's basically just saying 'What you're saying is irrelevant because you happen to be a man' Somebody who acts like that loses respect

Yeah, that is why she started the petition, which is absolutely understandable. I don't disbelieve her story either, but it's the fact that she wants all accused to be suspended

That's fair, I didn't make the post here though! You do make me feel special, I will buck those trends, hell yeah I made an edit on the original post to point out it isn't any physical protests or something, just an online petition.

Because I am here to shitpost about DnD and Warhammer, but this happened this morning and I wanted to clear my mind, and this felt like a good place. I am normally a very relaxed person but this actually made me angry! It's not a protest at all, just an online petition, which is honestly bad enough. There isn't an uproar, just angry comments in our groupschat, with some people speaking for reason as well, but still the petition has hundreds of signatures which I find worrying My friend isn't in …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
