I think its generally the point where more guys get their life together. You hopefully been working on your life enough to have something going for you. Men in their early 20s are young and most are not established. If a woman wants a man who can provide something then they will find more of that with a bit more age.

These political spectrums seem to be pulled further at their edges. I wouldn't even consider the logical views as red pill anymore. There's way too many crazies that turned red pill into insane misogyny. The respectable views aren't even in the same ballpark. I started on "intellectual discussions as to why radical views are doing harm" and eventually was disgusted by red pill content, really got turned off by the misogynist takeover.

I think part of it is because its become a common thing that some younger women seek out older men for various reasons. Some say it's due to "men their age aren't mature enough" and others are "looking for a lifestyle" and using them. The men are coping and hoping they will be the ones sought out in this way. The reality is that only a small fraction of the population might think this way. Everyone I've known IRL growing up ended up with someone close to their own age, including myself. My wife …

Didn't generalize feminists. I was referring to how the red pill only examines the low-IQ ones because they're easy to find faults with. Sorry for the confusion. Edited the sentence for clarity

Introduction to red pill includes philosophies about self improvement, and I think that's what sucks a person in. Self improvement is for everyone, especially people in a low spot. Diving deeper, you go into pointing out low-IQ people who are feminists or ideologists who have taken it way too far, which is comedy. Since you would normally agree that extreme views are bad takes, it warms you to the idea of further red pill ideology. What really turned me off of it is the prejudices and misogynist…

Oh he’s become abusive. I completely missed that part. she has been abusive towards him, I think you missed that part. That's something that can't continue if OP wants to reconcile. Unfortunately they might be incompatible for a lifelong marriage. One is an abusive far left socialist and the other is a right leaning person. These two mindsets are often incompatible.

From what I know about the space, these are just niche buzz words. Once I realized how niche the entire manosphere is, I could see how the opinions are "fringe" at best. This is not the norm

I think it's for single people who are looking to define what they want in a partner and what that means to them. The things people value can tell you a lot about them

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
