Although I agree we shouldn't be taking the Daily Mail seriously anyway, I wanna copy /u/geekygirl23's response from earlier up in the thread: During the school year weekend access is equal to more time with your kids than all of the weekday hours combined. I, uh, what? Patriarchy refers to a society/community/whathaveyou led by males. Many animals have patriarchal structures, for example. In human gender politics it generally refers to men being the leaders by default in whatever situations related to the discussion. So it cannot refer to equality anyway. The feminine equivalent would be matriarchy. Did you mean masculinity?
