If I've got nothing special to toast, I toast to my liver. For taking one for the team.

Sure. Both of them should be punished, don't you think?

Yeah, you're not getting away with a claim like that without a source.

In my opinion Mesonoxian was doing exactly that, faking social proof (by using fictional people) to garner real social proof. Or at least a date. In general, no it can't be faked, but he seemed to find a way to do so.

So what's the deal with faking it until you make it?

"Some friends and I are going to (live band/karaoke/anything interesting) at (place and time). Come join, if you're any fun at all. (:P)" Some people will put a tongue smiley in there, some people are against it. I feel that without them it's too serious. That's where your artistic licence is.

You mean carcinogenic gasses? Sorry for the pedantry, I do agree though. They're great jobs for young people. Not so much family people.

Oh god, don't just drop it. Try to set something up as soon as possible. Text game is ok, just make sure it's a fun and interesting communication lots of flirting and agree and amplify stuff. Even be sexually suggestive, despite that nothing has happened. When you see her again MAKE A GOD DAMNED MOVE That is, if you're actually interested. From what I know of your interaction you don't seem it. I guess that's contributing to why she'd feel the same way.

So would a search for youth, gays, breasts and cheating wives. For that matter, so would sexy mothers.

Making a big deal about $3 is pretty childish though. I think making a big deal about almost any cost on a date is pretty childish. In my opinion, you're paying for a good night. If it's expensive and she doesn't want to pitch in, as far as I'm concerned: Strike one. Teasing them about paying their way for drinks is a different matter.

A few months? Made out a couple of times? You've probably moved too slow to keep her interested. How long ago was the last time you made out? Also after a few months it's not unreasonable for her to get to know you and no longer be attracted anyway. It's probably more like a relationship and talking to her is a better idea that asking seddit. Also these kinds of questions should go in askseddit.

Like when someone sleeps around, and gets herpes. That shit never goes away.

Interesting thought. I doubt men would become more promiscuous as a result of the male pill, but it shouldn't be just limited to men in monogamous relationships. Hopefully people will be sensible and realise that pregnancy is not the only reason for wearing a condom. That last comment made me think about how idiotic most of the population can be. I weep for humanity.

It still seems fairly obtuse. Why wood, as opposed to any other material. I'm guessing at some kind of traditional piece of paper that was handed over?

Why does "It was wood" mean this?

I'm just learning this stuff too, but I'd think it might have been something to do with sleeping together twice, and not having sex. She pretty much said yeah lets get it on, twice, and you shot her down by not following through. Just a thought.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
