She truthfully accused him and he gets punished She falsely accused him and he does not get punished Then, from the entire legal process spanning multiple years, she could not prove her allegations were true, which leaves us with only outcome number 2. 1	I used to be afraid only of spiders. The statistically unlikely chance of being accused still scares the living daylight out of most men because of the serious repercussions they can have even when innocent.
