I agree that with others saying that this is extremely disrespectful behavior that should not be tolerated, expecially from your own husband.

A man of high value to me is someone who is well established mentally, financially, & emotionally. He's ambitious, fit and in his prime.

I'm absolutely at his service because he's at at MY service. He provides everything I need and want and makes me feel like the only woman in the whole world. I cook because I get home before he does and love his reaction when he comes home to a hot meal. There's nothing wrong with finding happiness in nurturing my man.

How about getting your hair styled professionally? Get some layers in, possibly bangs? Whatever suits your face, then all you really have to do in the morning is blowdry it and let the cut do the work. For makeup start out simple, a tinted lip and mascara. One thing I'd definitely look into if I were you is eyebrows! Get them threaded/waxed and keep them tidy. Brows frame your face. Nice brows will do wonders for your face!

We definitely don't always agree, but he is a lot more emotionally charged about politics so I tend to STFU. Considering he's always better informed than I am I try to be a good listener instead. If there's anything that I don't agree with I try to do my research first before bringing it up again.

Being a good woman worth committing to IS hard work. When I get home from work I'm exhausted. All I want to do is kick off my heels and veg out but I have to tidy and get dinner started while still looking presentable. The biggest reward at the end of every day is his happiness: belly full, feet rubbed, sexually satiated. Why else would a man of high value want to be tied down?

This used to be me too! I remember being so bitter and resentful. I've also never been happier with who I am. I'm so grateful for this sub and if I'm going to be honest, grateful for the RP in general.

Embracing femininity Not being afraid to be polarizing! Being less cynical and learning to wear a bit of my heart on my sleeve. Being gentle, soft and overall more pleasant and nurturing. I'm more in tune with my feelings and am overall happier with my self image. As women we are ruled by our emotions. Instead of suppressing my feelings I've been embracing and riding them through. If I need to cry, I'll cry. If I feel joy or excitement I'll laugh bounce around. It feels so good to really actua…

Honey garlic pork chops with roasted sweet poatoes! SO yummy and so EASY! ...But my hunny doesn't need to know that. :P I chop up my sweet potato and toss them in evoo, salt pepper and a bit of rosemary and paprika them put them in the oven to broil. I thaw out a couple of pork chops dry them off with napkins. Then season em with salt, pepper, & rosemary and cook them on a skillet. After a few minutes they brown up and I transfer them with the veggies in the oven to crisp up a little. I take the…

He gave it up when we started dating. Considering he's older (40) and needs the pill to get things going he doesn't want to waste it unless we're getting it on. If he did this lady would walk away and I highly doubt he'd risk that! I have my unwavering standards amd he knows it.

If you want a good man you have to strive to be the kind of woman they pursue. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and build yourself up woman!

I personally feel that a high value guy that respects you won't ask this. A guy that is enthusiastically pursuing you for something serious wouldn't want to risk his chances by asking!

I love this topic and appreciate all these tips! When it comes to hair though, I tend to leave mine alone as I'm growing it out. I do have other tips though! My most favorite things for feminine upkeep are eyelash extensions, french manicures, full face and body moisturizing, sun hats/sunscreen, and always wearing heels! Eyelash extensions are a MUST for me! I always feel girly and put together, even when I wake up in the morning. Thanks to my bomb lashes my makeup routine is only a bold lip and…

I gave up wearing my late fiance's engagement ring. We had been together about 10 years, my entitre adult life. He was my entire world and a year ago he succumbed to illness. I moved in with my captain on the one condition that he is to propose with the same ring once we decide to make that step and I handed over my most precious belonging in the whole world until then. He in turn valued me enough to agree. I know that this is a big deal to him and I'm forever grateful.

FIrst date you should look every day cute and put together, A bit of a heel, some fragrance and extra glossy lips always made me feel confident but not overdone or "try-hard".

Personally find it gross. I'm 29 and anyone MY age feels too young and immature.

Not at all! I'm pretty small (5'0", about 100lbs) and beau is 6'3" and 230 lbs of brawn and he's very protective. It's the hottest thing! I have a great relationship with my dad so I doubt it's daddy issues. :P

I've been on a social media cleanse but in a moment of weakness I stalked his instagram. There aren't many but he follows a few women that post scantily clad pictures and despite knowing better it bothers me. These women are practically stark opposites of me! Blonde, white, tall, older, and enjoy shooting guns, drinking straight alcohol and manlier things of that nature. I'm short, hispanic, meek and traditional. I have asked him about these accounts and he says he followed them before he asked …

Pineapple on pizza forever! :) Thanks so much for your input! I have decided that I should listen to my man first and foremost. i did need to accept him, all of him. He is a wonderful man and I know in my heart he'd never steer me wrong. Thanks so much for your response, knowing that there are other couples like us making it work out there makes me happy!

I agree that the word "extreminst" was not the best way to describe him, I was very upset when I typed up my post. I brought up my concerns over the weekend and I genuinely stopped and listened to all he had to say and in turn he did the same for me! He apologized and let me know he wasn't being patronizing at all, he was only being careful with my feelings because according to him every single emotion I feel is wired into my tear ducts and he doesn't like to make me cry. I brought up my concern…

Sorry, when I said "life is not black and white" I was referring to people who form an opinion of someone's character based on their political stance. If I judged someone on no other basis I'd be missing out on some amazing people, including the most wonderful man I know. I agree that this view can't really apply to everything in life but when it comes to people I'd like to think that their entire character is not defined by political or even religious beliefs.

Looking at everyone's responses I think I should probably reconsider my wording and really open up and listen to what he has to say before panicking about buzzwords. I trust his judgement on everything else, and he's definitely a lot smarter and wiser than I am. Time to let my man lead.

I'm sorry about the abuse you've experienced. Having different views is no reason to mistreat anyone. I knew he leaned right from the beginning and that has never been the issue, certain topics that have the potential to affect how we raise our family down the line are what concern me. I nurture all kinds of friendships from all kinds of political viewpoints and have dated people with a similar mindset before, just not as what I personally consider as extreme. Life is not black and white and if …

You're right, I haven't taken his beliefs into consideration. I'll try to put aside my viewpoint and really listen to him. No wonder he doesn't take me seriously! This is a very constructive response! Thank you!

I certainly did and I still love and respect him. I want to have children with him one day and his stance on vaccinations is what worried me in the first place. I'm concerned about how other stances will affect my potential family in the future.

We'd never speak politics earlier on and I've never considered political stances to be deal breakers. I never expected to meet climate change deniers outside of the internet to be honest! Finding out was a big shocker.

I totally did give in too soon but I couldn't help it! Haha. I want him all to myself!

I consider him an extremeist because he is against vaccinations, all abortion and believes that climate change is a non-issue. I definitely don't use the term lightly! Thank you for your advice! I will try this when another discussion arises, and I'm 10000% open and willing to change my mind! I'm definitely not always right.

Our core values are more in sync, I think he's a great person with his priorities in check and he thinks the same of me, and even though the way he listens to me does feel patronizing, he does listen. We also align spiritually and go to church together. I'm really hoping this is an issue that can be remedied. Thank you so much for your response!

I consider myself pretty open minded but the reason why I feel he is extreme is because he follows tons of conservative social media accounts and believes every word he reads without fact checking things on his own.

I love that he's 10 years my senior. I agree that there is an apparent power imbalance and it makes me respect him all the more. I love that he's older than me, he tells me that it it keeps him striving to be his physical best in order to keep up with me and yes, I drive him wild. I bring whimsy, youth, femininity and new culture into his life. Why would any alpha man of high value want to settle for anything less? Everyone knows all men value youth and beauty first and foremost.

You're right, and this is a big part of who he is. I need to figure out a way for us to discuss these things without feeling invalidated.

I'm definitely concerned but I'm willing to to work a little harder to make him understand how I feel. Thank you for your response.
