3	Judge dismisses case against man for sending birthday card to daughter. Dismissing the charge brought under the Domestic Violence Act against the man, the judge stated:“I mean, if we have reached a stage in our society where a man is deemed to have breached a safety order by sending a birthday card" Agreed not enough information as to the protection order, say father has been abusing daughter for some time and she gets a birthday card just saying "Happy Birthday be seeing you soon", sounds innocent but would scare the shit out of her.
