The good thing is, with a HR ho, you can appeal to her vanity by complimenting her appearance, and smiling and acting confident. They live on appearances and "feelings" aka chemical reactions not inhibited by masculine logic. Or perhaps I'm just a cynical nihilist?

Yeah, true. I guess for most of us it's a slow, often painful process to realize the reality is much different than the feminine-inspired bubble we are brainwashed to believe in. Hollywood is based around "one true romantic love", it's all a ploy to keep the status quo in tact and keep us all slaving away with the "higher purpose" being honour, respect from peers from conforming to society (marriage, kids, career etc), and "living a meaningful life" aka having kids and marrying a succubus. Gah.

Jesus Christ, what a custard tart. Why don't you just lose some weight instead of wasting your minimal mental energy on convincing yourself you are desirable and shaming the rest of us with common sense

Well, yeah, you go for the travel, but the women are an inevitable extra. From my experience anyway, whenever I go out with the intention of picking up, nobody interesting shows up, but when I have no expectations and am just out for a few drinks and laughs with some random traveler friends, suddenly a potential woman walks in the door, and the less you care about the women, the more they seem to pop up. On the road anyway. I've been at home for the past 12 months and that definitely isn't the w…

It's comforting to know that I probably won't change much by 35. Long live hedonism

That is an insanely interesting statement, RE: how women genuinely prefer a man with Dark Triad traits. surely this is no accident.

Haha, spot on to both of you. You're right, dad doesn't know what intimacy is I believe. It's more about the fear of abandonment and a sense of validation from external sources such as children and having people who "rely" on him

This is the way to do it. Remain unattached. Like blink 182 said "Don't wanna live my without all those special things, don't wanna spend my life being tied to anyone else's....STRIIIIIIINGS"

Haha, this. This is awesome. I feel some men find their validation in helping "helpless" women do "man things"

Oh also, when my best friend and I found out that his ex (first girlfriend, from 16-21) had been SUCKING RANDOM DUDE'S DICKS IN NIGHTCLUBS fucking weekly, just for the thrill of it, all through the relationship. He turned a blind eye because he was convinced she was the one, and he told me about his plans to marry her when we were like 17. And so is the making of a red-pill MGTOW. This womb-man is about to become a fucking daycare supervisor. Now she is going out with our OTHER ex-best mate, who…

TO all my brothers, I would seriously suggest the backpacking route for finding fulfilling intimacy without the strings attached. When I was 20 I slept with a 32 year old Russian in Montenegro, a 27 year old Italian in Amsterdam, an 18 year old Norwegian in Prague, etc etc. Yes I am saying this to brag because I would like my fellow brothers to experience some sort of intimacy instead of completely shunning it out of our lives. This way you can still have a good connection with a woman, micro-re…

Also the mid 30 year old i sit next to at work who flirts with me all day and has told me she will quit once her husband is on 100k. And she is the kind of woman I would have thought I'd like to marry too. THanks Lucifer for that one. Vote up if I should try pork her (a man can dream)

Ditto on the male role model thing. Most of our generations dads are white knights and we have nobody but our peers to look to for advice. Sometimes not even our peers

Sounds like the end of Brave New World. but then he figures out he still wants a woman. Emerson (Self-Reliance) was a virgin, so they say

Have you considered that the main characters in Zelda and Mario are actually about saving the beautiful Princess? So technically you subconsciously still want to be the knight in shining armour :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
