Well videos like this end up on the internet, people recognize the ones in the video. This stuff can ruin lives. Like I said, its just like in the middle ages, when someone who did sth wrong got thrown shit at on the market place. Public shaming isnt a usefull tool, its only a way of revenge and revenge never got anyone anywhere. As someone who was cheated on I agree, however I think there are a lot of reasons people cheat and not every reason is them not loving their partner. But dont get me wrong, cheating is always a bad thing and you should never hurt a person like that. And also if you are the one who she/he cheats with, you are even worse, bc you use a difficult situation to your benefit, not caring about the people you hurt for sex.

I eouldnt say its bc of the stigma. Id say its bc it is indeed a mental illness and like every mental illness its hard to handle without professional help. I also think that normalizing it to a degree, that its sth completly normal, would make it even worse. No one goes to someone for help if he gets thaught its fully normal and healthy.
