In this specific instance, I would to go clubby type bars in my area (I live in a college town) and they would play shitty club music mostly, lol. But I've had the same thing happen at jam concerts and electronic shows I've gone to. I even went to my first country show a couple days ago where everybody was line dancing. This is what I do and I have a great time, and girls often come and dance with me. And if they don't it doesn't matter because I'm not attached to any outcome, I'm just having a good time myself.

Baby steps. Take it slowly if you have to. You're afraid to go to the club alone. So here's what you should do. Go to the club alone. If you're really freaked out, take it really slowly. If you absolutely can't get yourself to go inside, just walk by and look inside. Then when you feel ready, go inside. Get a drink.
