I don’t even have to get a hard no, even an im busy that night, without offering a alternate night and then following through is enough for me. I don’t feel the need to tell her what you suggested though, just makes me look like “i was only after one thing” which just gives her more reason to feel rejecting me was the right call. | 1 | Is this male privilege???I am a working comedian, and it boggles my mind how much at the lower and middle levels of booked/paid gigs women have a premium. For instance... lets say there is 100 comedians in my city, 90 men, 10 women... lets also say on any given night there is 3 shows, needing 4 comics per, so 12 comics will be booked on any given night.
