Historically, men have actively inhibited women from the military in almost every civilization. You can't blame women for that. However, I do believe that selective service should apply to every citizen. For every soldier, there are at least 10 non-combat roles. There's no excuse not to serve your country, even from a support position. I'm not sure where I stand on the "women and children being rescued first" issue. From what I've read, the whole concept is based solely on reproductive value. A …

Giving one party total authority over the other is not a balanced or healthy relationship dynamic. That just leaves women powerless and dependent on men for survival (which is obviously what you guys want, but anyway)...

Thank you. I wish other men would understand the sacrifices women make to create life.

Not once did I say all men are monsters and all women are perfect angels. I said that based on MY experience, MY intuition tells me that women are the safer bet. Maybe the numbers are skewed because men don't report abuse nearly as often, but overall, men are statistically the most likely to commit domestic violence. There are other factors in my decision to avoid men. Mainly because I prefer women sexually and emotionally, and they just have so much more to offer me than a man does. To each the…

That's how we found out. I went in for my second ultrasound (just over 15 weeks), and he had no heartbeat. We ran every test in the book to find out what happened, but everything came back clear. They said they would schedule the D&C, but that since I wasn't on my deathbed, they couldn't legally perform an emergency procedure. He had already been dead for about a week, and they wanted me to wait another 2 weeks!! They would only treat me if I had a fever, which means there's already an infection…

Can you list any of these so-called "benefits" for women in traditional gender roles?

Well, since you clearly have a far superior intellect, I should just take your word for it and go against all of my personal experience and the experience of almost every single woman I know. I've never been abused by a man because I'm not naive enough to put myself in that position. People exhibit warning signs whether or not you choose to ignore them. But out of my family, coworkers, and small circle of friends, well over half of them have been abused physically and sexually either by their fa…

They are trying to bring that shit here. Muslims are already taking over significant portions of Europe and forcing their archaic ideology on us. We obviously failed to learn from history if we think this can't happen here. It's already beginning.

If it's not about control, then what? If the goal were to have less unwanted pregnancies and save lives, then they would push for more education and access to contraception. But no, they just want to raise the birth rate and use women as incubators. They don't give a shit about babies.

You're insane if you actually think a billionaire gives a fuck about you. They'll get their tax breaks just like they wanted, and you'll be in the same position you were before. But honestly, if it weren't for the blatant middle finger Republicans give to women, I probably would've voted for them. But I recently experienced a horrific miscarriage in which I had to leave my home state in order to not die of sepsis. Idaho literally wanted me to carry a dead body inside me and would only help me if…

Which falsehood are you referring to? Since this sub doesn't allow links, I guess you'll just have to Google it. But that would require due diligence, so I won't hold my breath. These things happen in pretty much every Middle-Eastern country and quite a few African populations. Afghanistan just passed a law that women can't even speak in public or even too loud in their own home. Yet, here you guys are worried about having to pay child support for a kid you helped create. You poor, oppressed men…

If it can happen there, it can happen anywhere. And we have a right to be concerned with the current narrative. This last election proved that men don't give a fuck about basic human rights for anyone but themselves. And we're somehow the selfish ones?

How is it propaganda exactly? To this day, women around the world can't even leave their house without a male relative. Others get acid thrown in their face for daring to go to school (God forbid!) Is that what you call freedom and equality? What would you do differently?

Eh, I'm not so sure about that. Regardless, men are still the overwhelming majority of perpetrators of violence. I'll take my chances with women. They smell better anyway. https://trueselfhealinggroup.com/statistics-on-domestic-violence https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK499891/#:~:text=Women%20account%20for%20a%20little%20over%20half%20of%20the%20perpetrators.&text=According%20to%20the%20CDC%2C%201,sexual%20violence%20during%20their%20lifetimes https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime…

Exactly what I just said. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with the dynamics and expectations that accompany hetero relationships. That's all.

No, they'll just turn to other women and sperm banks instead. You can keep your mail-order bride.

It's crazy that we live in a world where people think the accusation of a crime is worse than the crime itself. Of course, female perpetrators should get the same sentence as males if they commit the same crime. I guess it depends on your definition of rape. If you hold someone down, drug them, or otherwise physically force them to have sex with you, then you are an animal with no self control and you deserve to fucking die. Also, do you really think men haven't weaponized rape against women for…

Rape should carry the death sentence as well.
