I already touched on it being good that she slept apart from him to take care of herself and her health in my comment below and I never suggested that she sleep in a bed with him at the expense of her own health, in fact I have only said the opposite. Also if you care to have a look at the sentence that immediately followed what you quoted from my comment, you will see that I said that the sleeping together is a matter to be attended to AFTER she gets herself right 🙄 I am unsure what your person…

Just because else did something 50 yrs ago, doesn't mean that she should do it. Intimacy is important and you dont know what went on behind closed doors for 50 years or how close they felt. Being able to have that intimate experience with your partner is lovely and something that should be aspired to and is something for her husband to work towards.

Like many ladies have said here - focus on yourself and look after yourself. Hard as it may be, just do what you need to do for yourself and put yourself first, make sure you practice self care and just leave him alone. Do your thing. The surrendered wife is an excellent book (suggest that you have a read of it, may help you :) ) however sometimes you need to borrow from the book of "why men love bitches" - Your husband may follow suit and start reacting simply by you not fussing over him and by…

Its very telling that instead of responding to the points I made, you come in and swear at me - about something that doesnt even have anything to do with you.

I am calm, how am I being mean? What words am I putting in her mouth? You are the one coming in swearing and calling me a bitch. Of course, duh, how could I be so silly, you can disagree or challenge someone here, but not if its someone the regular posters have on a pedestal. What a disappointment!

Well, you are the one who keeps banging on about these events being all about gifts even though I have pointed out that they dont have to be and that not everyone sees them that way. For someone so against gift expectations , wouldn't you be pleased to hear that women are making the shower their own and having it be about a gathering and fun time instead of presents? Or are you so fixated on what happened decades ago and the name of the event that you cant possibly fathom a change in a non-gift …

Your big gift comment is fairly off base though, not sure where you were raised or what your experience has been. In my experience and certainly the experience of every lady I know, people bring small, practical gifts - diapers towels wipes etc. I will still be doing one for each child and am happy to see ladies interpreting these showers in their own ways now - whether extravagent, small, or in between, rather than feeling pressured or guilty to do it all one way or what is expected of them fro…

Ah, I never saw showers as being for gifts, especially the big stuff - if anyone is going to buy the big ticket items, its the parents of the child as these items are very personal and at times, expensive, choices - at the most, the grandparents might buy these as selected by the parents. Perhaps what you are describing is what baby showers used to be or maybe that's just your experience or your culture etc In my experience, party or not, people close to the parents buy the child a gift. The gen…

Can I ask why this is considered tacky? Is each childs arrival not something to be celebrated?

I actually cant wait to throw my own baby shower and its got nothing to do with gifts - in fact, I dont expect anything - I just love planning events and dont get to do it too often (ever) and am so excited to have children and create the special event I have in my mind with all my close friends and family! I tried to throw my best friend a baby shower and her sister ruined it, took over and did a horrible job so I give up on doing something fir others and will just do it for myself :D

I disagree, don't look to low quality women as a comparison.

On tax returns you put the gender and name, dob etc of your partner and the combined taxable income is what is used to determine whether you meet/exceed thresholds for phi rebates, medicare levy etc. I believe its same regardless of gender

Good explanation - I say that as its also how I see Australia, I don't see a lot of the BS Americans and others have to put up with. thanks for the history, im 26 so I didnt know or grow up around much of it. would be interested in knowing the age and racial background of people who disagree with you, perhaps the younger people are having a different experience. For sure we have hoes and betas like everywhere does but there's something special about our culture, it's chill, people are friendly a…

Have a read of the surrendered wife, I try to read it a few times a year so it stays fresh. It's an excellent book for women in relationships. There is also a Red Pill Wives reddit account

I went to a catholic high school, we just studied from the bible until year 11 and in year 12 got to choose from 9 different types of religious subjects eg religion in art. It was a normal school (for 2003-2008 standards anyway) and nothing was indoctrinated into me. I am orthodox anyway and there were other religions there too. Your comment is spot on

Did anyones parents contact the school and call BS on that? I graduated 8 years ago, I can't believe how much it has changed

Bob Proctor - The X and Y factor is a good listen on spotify which expands on this and explains why its difficult to change habits and therefore explains how to approach it. Only 30 mins as well

To be honest i dont think he knew what to say so was just pulling out words based on what his wife said. I was glad Tony pointed out that his wife had put him through some shit after all the nice things she said

This is great, it's from the Xeffect community and one of the guys there developed an app called 7 weeks, it uses these principles. I use it and enjoy it.

Also an Aussie 25 year old female - look for a tradie 30 years or older. Lord knows there isn't a shortage of them here - many of them have hearts of gold, are naturally masculine and would do well complemented by a feminine woman. I am biased as my fiance is a tradie as are the main men in my family life so take that into consideration. However, so often we see the tradie with a heart of gold who works so hard only to have an absolute bitch of a wife who just demands it all and also complains h…

Would you reccomend it? There's one in Sydney next month which i can fly over to and am considering. My hesitation lies in whether its worth it for someone who is already self aware. I get a LOT out of this subreddit, it doesn't cost a cent and i can have my realisations in my own private space while mulling over them in silence. I don't like sharing my personal goals ans realisations in groups. The surrendered wife taught me a lot about how to be submissive and obviously theres TRP and RPWi so …

Just quietly i chop my mans dinner in love hearts where possible. Making fries to go with his dinner? Will do one love heart one to sit on top of the string fries. Pastry with lemon curd inside? The pastry is a love heart....it feels pretty RPWi ;p

7 weeks app! Its wonderful and was created by someone on the xeffect subreddit. Also Louise Hay books are lovely and contain some great truths in them. They revolve a lot around loving yourself and would resonate well with many of the red pill wives here i believe. Last but certainly not least - affirmations every morning ladies!

My Dad is a taxi driver though here in Aus and something which people don't consider when hating on taxi prices and the fact that they are trying to ban Uber is that taxis are highly regulated and the cost of compliance is high so of course it costs more. If Uber was subhect to the same regulations the prices would not be so low. I think that's what they are trying to push for - equal regulations

For all the people misunderstanding the above comment, have a look at red pill wives. I know the down voting of the above comment may be because many men have not had the pleasure of having or knowing of a wife who is truly invested in her man and knows that by embracing her femininity and fully taking care of his house and needs and children that he can succeed more in his business - whatever thay may be- as he does not have to worry about these little tasks which are actually quite time consum…
