I think a lot of the problems we encounter start with defective mothers and the pressures they put on us at a young age. Constantly being told "be a man" but never being told what a man actually is or having a father around because well - she estranged him in the first place. If I really think deep down my issues are a conflicting bucket of trauma that I've carried with me into my grown up life. Primary trauma would've been from my mother, secondary would've been women of power in my early workp…

Watching in real time the waste my ex spent on books about stuff she was cooking up by self diagnosing the kids and myself with authors that were at best "self made" without much else of a degree or schooling. Books of this nature sell to other women as easily as women join FB, IG etc support groups. While I've got a bookshelf of hobby books, household maintenance, old text books, reference journals etc which are helpful to me and anyone else, the ex's bookshelf is well yeh trash talk.

Just a FYI if anyone doesn't know. Movember is headed by a mainly women workforce and is a front for women's groups in the end. Not a great way to explain it, but male support groups and societies aren't all they're cracked up to be.

Narcissistic personality at work. Mines raised the kids since birth and I've done jack shzt she tells me and no doubt everyone else in her family. There's zero support she says - "ok" is that all you've got to add. So what am I supposed to say am I to argue for my life or everything I've done. Yet her sisters partner is a "god" because he brings home a fat paycheck and blows it in crack and alcohol in the end. My deductions are - nothing good you do is ever enough, never ever.

Found it to be better than the physical therapist I saw as an individual. Aaaannnnnnddddd the very same therapist which was seeing my wife on the side and dumping info to her. Again a female - more distrust. GPT was a good listener and gave good info, I should've taken it all and acted on it at that point.

Did a post of this exact same issue on a couple subs and got no traction. Yes it's a stress issue, it's got a lot to do with how the mind functions or lack thereof. Phone for notes or a jotter pad helps. But the feeling does not go away of memory loss of your kids growing up or the inability to function at work etc.

If only you could find all the posts online (FB, IG, Reddit etc) that they've made about you. I found the pictures my spouse posted up on a FB group about me, that'll be used soon enough. We all go through the days, I'm having a "meh day" also, they wear you thin emotionally and we don't have the capacity to recharge off (toxic) friends / family / online groups as quickly as they do; as we tend to do it on our own.
