If your friends with women and am around women women giving guys with a 'soft' side some leeway often leads to being manipulated and pushed around by thier own kindness as a leash. Being macho is a step removed from that at the least. She is also, a lesbian. Thing with gay relationships is that despite varying levels of masculinity/feminity the other person is still intrinsically female/male so dynamic is different

Point is that yeah you can go and 'girlboss' around but that doesn't actually change how people treat you as if you are stupid, sexually harass you ect. You can't really see it. Also just as very few men are completely feminine very few women are completely masculine. Counterpoint: the pov is pretty male girls have to 'earn' a sort of feminity with the way they act, dress, interact, usually from older women but often peers and older men. As one ages you can get away with more and less at the same time. There's a pressure to be something specific from your family but your peers are more lax about things. As you reach adulthood and can start to really choose who your surrounded by it can be less

Shit tests? The point of the getting to know one another stage slowly fullfills the same purpose without being some weird loops and hurdles for a judge of character. Also if your making up a vulnrability it can set off a weird vibe and a women will probably think your just trying to manipulate her. Some guys use vulnrability, and actual genuine vulnerability to guilt trip someone into an emotional connection. Sometimes not even for sex as you would think but solely to act as an emotional leech. …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
