It didn't cross my mind that this could offend someone. Obviously this is not meant to condemn logic, which is the infrastructure that houses the situational content/emotions. For some it could be an improvement to be less objective when speaking their minds. We all have different journeys. Glad we could make you laugh! :)

Yep, to me logic is the structure, but what makes each situation a situation is not as extractable lol Glad we could make you laugh! :)

What a fun way to discuss some issues! I feel it would be hard to have a sour argument this way :)

What happy news! :) My question is what area of my relationship can benefit from some extra attention? And secondly, how much of my inner work should I disclose to my boyfriend? Thank you!

Oh B is not intuitive to me as a woman so thank you for sharing these insights. But what beauty this passage contains.. I hope this isn't inappropriate in the context of this thread, but I feel that I just stumbled upon something important.. Can I ask about something to further my understanding? I wonder about some things: a) when men say they would want to know, how can we tell they really do, or if they are just protective or something else? b) do you think that, for the women who feel silence…

What should be my focus when it comes to self-improvement moving forward? I don't know if you posted this before you learned about the emergencies, so nevermind my q if that is the case.. I really hope everything will be alright with both of your families.

I knew for two years that he had bought a ring, so I thought it would happen several times before it did. Like when he drove us to outback locations. Always another reason :( But I knew for sure right before the proposal bc of his behavior haha :)

It was so funny to see him mop the floor the other day :) He wielded the mop as a weapon, and the floor seemed like an opponent. The cleaning movements did not come naturally haha.

I just read the article, it was very telling! I know it’s not the thread topic but I think this touches on what respect to men vs what respect to women is? I can hear the grumbling, so I'll make a slight modification: only a woman would allow another person to reduce themselves in a show of support. Is it correct that this action is perceived as respect to a woman? It’s surprising to me, because if someone was reducing themselves to make me feel better I would feel disrespected and condescended …

"You are not listening to me - please address this issue you have." Sounds like a good way to get slapped if ever there was one.

The being on the right side of history catchphrase has completely passed me by, so I don't know its context or anything. But if I were to interpret it charitably I feel it's about being more concerned with personal morality than acting from the influences of collective consensus. Though to keep the applause lights to a minimum, I think that the difference between favoring impact on your society or "history" is whether the focus is short-term (more guaranteed) or long-term (more favoring of bette…

What role do you think we as women/wives/mothers play in defining/encouraging a particular flavour of masculinity, if any? What do you think of the view that civilization is shaped through men doing what they need to do to get sex? I don't know how it used to be, but I don't think the first idea a man looking for sex has will be to find a monogamous relationship/marriage. I'm sure it has the inverse reputation for many. Then the cheap sex market isn't very family-friendly or pro-civilization. Wh…

Such a great way to fall back into our default natures :) I really loved it when mine went fishing and came back late at night. Waiting for him to get home was such a special mix of feelings! On the other hand the time I joined I didn't enjoy it the slightest. Poor fish! It was really draining and I was not at my best mood- or energy-wise afterwards.

I feel totally awkward linking to this site, but a google search yielded this headline and I wanted to check it out. In this article the writer analyzes the differences in male movie stars of today vs. the early days. He cites the major themes in his compariosons to be about personal space, guardedness, exaggeration, and physical forwardness, and the stars of today being fonder on the first three. I hope to hear your opinions on all of this. :) The first comparison he makes is between Cary Grant…

I'm on vacation with my dad so my boyfriend is a longer drive away and we have not seen much of each other. But he gives me a song to fall asleep to every night, and this makes me feel more connected to him. When we did meet at some point he touched my arm and it jiggled which sent me into a panic! But he just said my skin was soft which I think illustrates his focus in contrast with mine so well. Where I see a flaw he sees how different I am from him. Besides I also think women are far more bru…

Personally I started using full makeup right after I met my boyfriend.. when I don't see him I keep my former baseline of effort which is primed towards long term health and beauty. But when he'll be there I'll capitalize on beauty in-the-moment :) Rarely I will go below my baseline of effort, if I want to go "undercover" and avoid attention, but otherwise the equation will look like baseline + interest. For me it's true that interest plays a larger role here, though for women who have higher st…
