If you can look at a human being and succeed at seeing only the thing that you will use to define them, removing all other qualities not because it is true, but because it serves you, you are not trying to see another human being, you are trying to satisfy the definitions you've made about what the world and people should be according to you. A mirror will be more useful than a relationship. People are all just as complex as you. Savage reductionism is not wholly true even if it can be argued th…

Do you understand human history or anything? Are you living on the same planet as I am? Who kills people? Who uses violence as a tool to condition other people's behavior? Is moral behavior even desirable or do the strong just rule because they can do violence and we're ok with that?

Nope I sure don't! Men who can't take responsibility for themselves and each other is the problem. Be a man. Take responsibility for things. The amount of war, violence, and violent crime has almost nothing to do with women or the media. I can be perfectly well behaved and still not blind to the overall problem: people using violence on each other is trash and we, men are it's prime promoters and users, forever. Imagine you're being attacked. Who is doing it? Women? Seriously?!

Hey. Feel free to disagree, but the literal whole issue of human moral conduct and the whole future if our species is about violence. Our willingness to use force against each other. Why are you being treated like a monster? It's not because of the media, although that doesn't help, it's because of human history.and how we're really murderous towards each other and how we embrace the possibility of moral violence. And you know who does the heavy lifting of the violence? It's men! We love it! And…

I've never thought that I am an entire class of people. Why would I hear about history and make it about myself? Especially if I don't agree with the injustices of the past? I am a white male. There's no more need for me to deny Genghis Khan's horde, the Armenian genocide, European Colonialism or any of it. If you think your identity as a white man is in danger I think you're a moral coward.

Your very first sentence is off. I never said that, and it isn't my argument. There are many things that I don't personally benefit from that indirectly improve my life and my society.

We all benefit from a functional society.

It's for family planning, an important part of having a healthy sex life and making the best decisions for yourself and your family.

Like we want to use the threat of violence to get money to pay for schools, or the threat of violence to keep people from murdering each other. You know, civilization.

I disagree with your assessment, there is more diversity of thought within feminism than you're acknowledging. Anyone fighting for rights has a perception of wrongs done against them just like men here who think they have something at stake. Victim mentality is why I originally commented and it exists in feminism and in women just as it exists in men's rights activism and men.

Sure.I don't know about that theory I only know feminism and feminists on a personal basis. As far as leaders and organizations, I don't know, I have no contact with them. I do know that we can find feminism, men's rights activism, Christianity and any other large -ism that has lots of variety, might not be all right or all wrong, and has adherents that don't all agree amongst themselves.

How does my circular reasoning always bring me back to the same place? If you insist on such absolutism, you'll certainly be rewarded. What if you weren't entirely right though and feminism wasn't an utterly terrifying force of moral decay? I find it cowardly and undignified to fear women in the pursuit of my own justice. Women deserve everything I deserve, and so do you.

Ok. I disagree, but let's say you're totally correct. Super. How does bashing feminism improve you or men's rights? Why do you need to reference that?

Fucking sad that a man who alleges to go his own way or be a man needs to blame or to be a victim. Take responsibility for yourself. Be a man. What is even scarier than blaming anyone else is the mirror, you fucking coward.

If everyone else refused to jump off a bridge, would you refuse to jump off too? Is it more important to go your own way or actually make a decent choice?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
