It's not exactly 'equal' outcome, as the steps to reach the outcome are not equal. They want the same outcome as those who have put in more effort. You know when you're in a grocery store, and the aisles have those signs up in the middle of them, above the aisle itself? And it lists where in that aisle the products are? You hired a aisle sign...
