Did you have trouble 'swallowing the pill'?

I didn't take the necessary time to actually read your comment because of the flood of other comments sorry. My bad. This made perfect sense.

Do you think TRP changed you for the worse in any area?

Almost every critique you said was fair. I acknowledge my lack of experience in both the subject matter and the nature of the community. I thought this might be a useful conversation because if anyone needs TRP its probably people in my position. Perhaps it would be helpful if I were to post a more concrete list of points in TRP but I doubt it. What do you think? At the end of the day maybe I am just having a hard time swallowing the pill. Thank you for your responses though, I know you actually…

Oh I am aware that I am likely just rationalizing, but the net effect is that the desire just isn't there anymore. Ive seen a pretty decent amount of stuff I wasn't meant to see about how couples interact and it doesn't really surprise me. It does make me sad though. Women are human, humans argue with eachother. Thanks for talking! hope that made sense. There are so many comments I'm just shooting off first impression responses at this point. May have to just bite the bullet and post a detailed …

See this is the kind of debate I wanted. Excellent response. I would agree with much of what you said but there is an undertone of sexism especially in the last paragraph. Women are not only capable of self improvement, they often embrace it. There is a very clear social dynamic which keeps women in direct competition with other women for the attention of men. Men may have to fight for the women, but the women have to crawl over eachother to get higher on the pedestal in their own way. Society h…

So you seriously just want physical pleasure out of your relationships with women? I don't mean to say that in a negative way it just seems alien. Could you explain a little?

Women are just as primitively wired as men are. As humans we want to eat fatty foods and sit about all day but as rational adults we are open to the process of emotional maturity that it takes to overcome these primal urges. Women are more advanced than their cavemen counterparts.

If someone needs a subreddit to tell them that self-improvement is a good thing they need more help than relationship advice.

Ok to start I have absolutely no doubt that TRP is effective at what it does. If I wanted to get laid as much as possible, TRP type strategies would be a LARGE part of what I would incorporate. Women are just like men in that they have triggers and sensitivities that can be pushed until they are bent a certain way. My issue with TRP is from a larger perspective than the merits of sexual strategy. I believe from what I have seen in my life that men don't actually just want to fuck as many women a…

When my friends have an argument with their SO I am often the translator for both sides. I understand how women think and talk probably because I have always been a very emotional person myself. Girls naturally are more emotionally intelligent than men and more sensitive to nuances in language and communication. Men are more task oriented and are taught a type of logic that is innate to men that one could easily equate to statistical reasoning. I disagree with TRP for many reasons but I will sta…

I am not trying to convince you that you are wrong, I just want to talk. I think your wrong, its different. Give me one sec and ill answer in more detail.

Clearly not. Women and men obviously deviate heavily in how they process information and respond to situations. Let me go get my laptop to answer in better detail

I thought going right to the community itself would be more valuable. Sounds like I might have been right.

I made sure to read the majority of the sidebar material before this but my situation is unique and I think it could prove to get interesting.

Im on mobile so apologies for typos/format. Well to start off I am in my early twenties and have absolutly no experience with women. This is why I wanted to have this debate. I haven't even kissed a woman, yet I can find evidence in my life to contradict trp philosophys. Some would call me asexual, but that is only half the truth. I had some bad experiences with bullying and rejection in highschool which have left me with deep insecurities about myself especially in a romantic position. I defeat…
