Keep it professional and avoid being alone with her should be fine. Protect yourself, but we all gotta work with female at some point. However, I would look for another job if she's limiting your career growth or your career is directly at risk by her behavior. Especially if she's there because of a quota, it's not worth fighting a losing battle.

I can see the person being more self sufficient, thus less likely to trust others. This can lead to a pretty lonely life. Lack of emotional validation might lead to resentment of not feeling accepted. But social media today created too many attention whores, so there's the other extreme.

I really want to pull the plug on it as well. But I use it as communication tool as nobody uses email nowdays. So I just unfollow everybody on facebook. Block facebook.com on the host files. And basically any messages send directly to me will be posted on my email. So I am technically not off facebook, but I think I am close to it.
