What I'm hearing is that we need to redesign tire irons to require less upper body strength.

Ok, so my gut says the following: • I won't need the manual for something so straight-forward. • If I'm not physically strong enough, no amount of knowledge will help me. • Put the jack on something made of steel that doesnt move. • If the tire tread doesnt have a super-obvious direction then it wont matter which direction it spins. Maybe there is an indicator marked on the side? • First screw on all the nuts loosely, then tighten them as much as physically possible in an X pattern. Am I about t…

I used an old-timey fuel pump once and I spent ages trying to figure it out before someone came to help me. The little catch that detects if the nozzle is stored on the side of the pump used to not be spring-loaded so you had to activate it manually. So it actually did used to be difficult if you're an idiot like me. But like other people have mentioned, it used to be much less safe. I've seen countless examples of how-to instructions that indicate that you will require sand and rags for the ine…

I don't drive but I've also never learned to change a tire... fuel and oil is pretty idiot-proof though. If I have a flat tire, a jack, and a tire iron, I'll be able to figure it out, right? Like... isn't it as simple as removing the hardware then switching tires and replacing the hardware?

Are you sure? There were 2 season back-to-back with the same premise and outcome... I find it implausible that I watched 3 seasons total of 2 different identical tv shows but maybe.

It's not an episode... it's a season... the trade between the islands took place over a couple episodes. I think it's season 2. Might be season 3. They had the same gimmick.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/03/21 03:26 AM

It's called The Island With Bear Grylls (season 2? Maybe 3?). If you genuinely believe that nobody was ever unhappy about the outcome of those episodes, I weep for you. Some things are so statistically certain that they do not require individual proofs. If I tell you that red stuff comes out of me when my skin is broken, you do not require a proof of my individual claim... you know it's true. In the same way, I promise you that someone's feminist roommate got all huffy about that show.

Maybe I'm misremembering but I dont think it was just 1 episode... I'm pretty sure that each group got a 12 episode season.

It was a synopsis of the first half of season 2 of The Island with Bear Grylls.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/03/21 12:02 AM

The story is just a synopsis of the first half of a season of reality tv, and then someone was sad about it. I watched the series, and that's exactly how it went down. I'd be shocked if nobody in the world got butt-hurt after watching it. Statistically speaking, I think this story must be true for someone somewhere, even if OP completely made it up... it's not exactly implausible.

As per my previous comment, either that's not accurate or I'm more prejudiced than I thought. If 90% of the content is sexist, it should be very easy to produce an example, right? Can you provide an example and indicate why you feel that its misogynistic?

I don't require any further coercing beyond the evidence that I witness firsthand. Her prepared statement does not hold the same weight in my deliberation as her actions that I witnessed. There are no words that she can say that will undo her immoral behavior and any attempts to present her as more sympathetic than she is are inherently deceptive. Ok. So you are unwilling to express your ideas rationally or have a productive conversation. I was right about you and justified in my assertion that women and their underlings should be barred from participating in conversations related to the rights and needs of men, or any other person for that matter. Duly noted. This isn't unique to you in any way. This is what I was talking about in the first place. Your premise was that women and their supporters unequivocally do not behave in the way tha…

I dont even remotely dislike myself and yet you'll happily engage in misandry... the only other option is that you have ovaries. Were you maybe being dishonest about your gender in the hope of improving your credibility? You've seriously engaged in every prepubescent feminist come-back at this stage: "shut up", "nuhuh not true", "go away", "who hurt you", "you're a virgin", "your parents didn't love you", "I feel bad for you", "stop using polysyllabic words", and "my behavior is your problem"...…

I... treat people equally and not damn and entire gender... Then what were you hoping to accomplish here? To be very clear. I don't need to be attractive to you people. I'm not breeding stock and you can't use my genitals to manipulate me. At this stage, I feel pretty comfortable concluding that you're a henpecked simpering puppet that lacks the reasoning skills to provide any logical argument to defend your self-hatred... but (and I genuinely don't intend to offend you with this) if you have co…

You might be a male... but if that's the case, it only further illustrates my point. If your behavior is any indication of the effect that exposure to feminist rhetoric has on a man's ability to reason and engage in fruitful conversation then women should absolutely be excluded from any discourse that might have an influence on another's well being... and perhaps more importantly, any discourse that might provide them the opportunity or information with which they can deceive people like you. Against my better judgement, I'll assume you're being genuine... You are aggressively rejecting opposing viewpoints without hearing the reasoning behind them or providing contrary reasoning. When presented with a viewpoint that you don't agree with, your immediate response was to silence me and pretend that it didn't happen, and your second response was an ad hominem attack and telling me to leave this public forum. You are currently trying to monopolize this thread while claiming that you don't…

they understand RP theory and are older and in relationships. Outside of outliers, does such a demographic exist? Isn't a major RP tenant that under no circumstances should one commit to a relationship as it's a concept intended specifically to take my resources from me? I stand to gain less from the same resource expenditure with a committed partner. Even non-RP men denounce relationships as they get older. That suggests to me that anyone who is "older" and in a committed relationship doesn't u…

Most people just don't do it because it's a waste of time. Well then that's on you... It's not their fault that you sanctimoniously refuse to lower yourself to the level of the unwashed haggling masses. Type "price firm" in your post next time.

You're talking about haggling... That may be true. It's a skill I learned from Spanish speakers. They called it "trocar" which Google tells me means "barter". I get deducting say, 50 bucks from a ~$500 item, people like to haggle. But offering 50 when the (really fair)price is ~500 ? If you think that the very first offer represents an end to all negotiation then you are missing the point more than I thought. If your item is posted for $5000000000 and someone offers you $1, you can say "no but I…

If you are offering an item for $425, it's not "wrong" to offer you $0.10. It suggests that I'm shit at negotiations but that's how it works. Now it's encumbent on you to make a counter offer or say "no". If I open with $0.10 you're likely to counter with $424.90 but that's part of it... That's how it works. If your opening offer (as a purchaser) is more than 60% of the asking price, I would argue that you're doing it wrong. I think messaging only "250" suggests that they are probably shitty to …

There's the opposite phenomenon of someone trying to sell crap for WAY too much You are absolutely missing the point of peer to peer sales. It's not the opposite phenomenon. It's the same phenomenon and is exactly how this system is supposed to work. It's called bartering. You are supposed to offer an item for a kings ransom. I will offer you peanuts for that item. It's called "bartering" and I think you are the outlier here. Bartering is an ancient, well established method of negotiation... They aren't breaking the rules by offering a lower price... That's exactly how it's supposed to work. You are breaking the rules by saying neither a median price nor "no". They are justified in their surprise and (without knowing the specifics) you are the one being an entitled dick here. Most of the world that's not America accepts bartering... If your item is posted for $100 and someone offers you $10, you're supposed to say "no but I'll take $90" and they will counter with $25. This continues until you settle on $75 or tell them that you really can't do less than $90. If you want $100 for an item, you're supposed to post it for $150. Someone might pay more than you expected for it but more than likely, someone will give you a "low-ball offer" that is exactly what you want for …

K701s are excellent but I have a hard time blindly recommending them because of the price point... I propose that not everyone should get a vote... Some basic indication that you understand the issues and some proof that you are invested in how those issues resolve should be required. At the time, most adult males also didn't have a vote. Then a few vocal women raised a stink and now everyone can vote if they manage to survive 18 years. I can't wait until a divorcing husband demands that his ex-wife provide him with the "lifestyle" he's grown accustomed to. "1 home cooked meal each day and 4 blowjobs a week or the cheques stop coming."

That moment felt like eternity to that kid and I'm sure he's going over it in his head constantly... He'll never forget the inconsistencies of that situation.

I'm not defending murderers btw... Also, she claimed that the police were on their way when she initially unlawfully detained him... And then had to call the police after she murdered him. He wasn't a threat to anything but her ego when he made a comment about her parenting choices. Listen real close to the audio...

There probably is nobody else... It's likely just her and her son.

Listen carefully... The victim actually makes a comment about it immediately before her countenance changed and she locked the door. "Well that's conducive isn't it?" She also detained him under false pretenses... She claimed that the PD were on their way for him but had to call the police to come after the killing. She illegally detained and murdered a man in front of her son for suggesting that she was a bad parent.

In case any of was wondering how this panned out: The paramedics arrived to treat her "injuries" before she left her seat. Her family left with her. Evidently the pussy pass doesn't expire.

Exactly. Her behaviors were unacceptable, someone in her life communicated that to her, she took effective steps to change that behavior... Isn't that exactly what we expect from fellow humans?
