Congrats man. I have 3 little ones (ages 5,8,9) and I couldn't imagine not seeing them. It would destroy me. Good for you for sticking up for yourself and I'm sure your little man will be a lot happier now that he gets to see you again. /hi5 for good dads!

She is as well. They are both responsible.

And for the ex I agree but for the woman he had a fling with he mentioned nothing about her lying, just that he didn't use a condom.

It's not wrong if you made the mistake. You had sex with no protection. She got pregnant. You are responsible for that child.

Okay so the one with your Ex I can understand but the one with a fling...sorry man but if you are going to stick your dick into a woman and she has a baby, it's your job to support that child. Fleeing out of state shows that you are not a man and I feel sorry for your current woman and soon to be kid if they have you as a father.

I'm the divorced father of two little boys and a little girl. This brought a tear to my eye and I hope some day my daughter looks back at the time I had with her and views it the same way.

Same here. One of the best damn things this state has ever passed.

God yes. Please listen to this. Do not do what I did.

Yep. Exactly what I do.

I can attest to this. I'm the most reserved, introverted person in the world. I hate talking to people. Got out of a very long term relationship and totally didn't know how to talk to anyone anymore. So I just started kind of talking to everyone. Doesn't mean you have to have in depth conversations but when you are at a grocery store ask the checker how her/his day is and actually listen. Smile at people you pass by on the streets. You'd be amazed at how many people will smile back and you proba…

I agree with everything. The court thing won't happen. We aren't doing a typical contested divorce. We are doing an uncontested diorce and we already have down what we are doing. But I appreciate the advice. Thanks

Yeah. I can say that the gym has been a saving grace for me. I get pissed off and it's hard to be pissed after completely exhausting your body.

She works monday-friday during the night. Saturday is during the day time. And yeah. I take my kids all over the place. I think my kids are cute as hell, but I might be a little bias. It does show that I'm capable of raising kids but I am no longer fertile. After kid 3 it was time for the snip snip. I do actually have a life. Tonight I'm going out and I make it out with friends once a month or so when people are getting together, but now most of my friends are married with young families so that…

She literally works every evening. She isn't going out and dating in the evenings. She leaves for work when I get home and gets home around 8 or 9 most nights. That's the problem. Not that she's sticking me with the kids every night. I wouldn't stand for that. I've started to man up a lot since this whole shit went down. At least I'm trying to.

Yeah. Me either.

I would actually love to do something like that, but my soon to be ex works in the evening times....every evening. So that kind of cuts that out.

I used to be the same way about my head. I've been working on eye contact. It's the small conversation that I'm trying to really work on.

Approach anxiety doesn't go away. Its way better to try to enjoy the fear of the approach than to wait until you're fearless. Again, one guy's opinion. Yeah. I don't expect to ever be fearless. I guess I need to learn to enjoy the fear.

That is an understatement. Totally. Good advice. I'm trying to just be more friendly with people. Make small talk with random strangers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
