I mean, sure there are physiological differences between men and women, but these clips aren't necessarily representative of women athletes in the sports. I'm sure there are plenty of women who could have tackled the motocross course and I have personally seen far better rowing from a high school girls' rowing team. These girls just sucked

I think you're looking at this from a strange perspective. These women were abused in order to follow their dreams, and yes I'm sure there have been many women scared off from showbiz in the process. Seriously? They want to keep working. If you start bad mouthing people who employ you, whether it's true or not, you can probably expect not to get hired for jobs anymore. It's considered "unprofessional" to be talking about this kind of thing so publicly and other producers may be hesitant to hire you if they think you might be the type of person to "stir shit up". You bring up some excellent points. Yes, of course teenagers can coerce other teenagers into doing things they may not normally do just like an adult could. And of course with any sexual intercourse, there are the standard hazards like STDs, pregnancy, and the potential for emotional trauma/abuse as you said in your comment. No, it's not wrong to think that at all, because clearly the situation is different from someone older exploiting someone who is underage and may not know better. In fact, some places in the US have passed legislation to protect teenage sexters because obviously putting a 17 year old kid on the sex offenders list for getting a picture of his girlfriend on his phone isn't exactly making or distributing child porn in the way most people would think of it. As I said, there isn't really anything we can do about peer pressure. It's just kind of a constant force in society. What could we even do about it? To change the influence of the peer pressure, you'd probably have to change society itself.

Peer pressure isn't something you can deal with other than by just defying it, which you will likely receive resistance on. Colleagues may not be as supportive, perhaps even subconsciously. Employers may be more critical of a resume or accomplishments. Peer pressure isn't always negative, but it can have the negative effects of setting some women's sights lower and making it more difficult to raise to loftier positions in their careers.
