I paid $1950 a month for 10 years, pay and live in my car or go to jail. I chose to pay. After 3 years I earned enough for an apartment. Declaring bankruptcy doesn’t wipe out your support order or change it. There’s no statute of limitations. Arrears keeps building with interest.

That’s a pretty standard arrangement for joint custody and primary residence with Mom.

Your children will be more crushed seeing a miserable and unhappy Dad. You deserve to be happy with the right woman.

Your feelings are normal, it’s part of the process. Don’t give up and just focus on being the best Dad. Everything gets better with time.

I love trauma, apparently. 4th wife just said she wants a divorce :( we were engaged 8 years before getting married in Hong Kong 2018, I thought it was safe and we were a good match. She came to America in 2022 and now 2 years and 6 months later wants a divorce. Every divorce took a chunk out of my heart. Don’t know how much more I can take.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
