I am struggling with seeing that too... As someone who was in a relationship with a guy where getting him to hang out with me was like pulling teeth and I had to make all of the effort, I can sort of relate to this post she made. Not that I expect anyone to shell out big bucks to see me but just that when you are with someone who actually wants to spend time with you, damn. It makes a world of difference. And, to be clear, I believe that effort should go both ways. Both parties in the relationsh…

It's sinking to their level. Don't like what they're doing? Leave, cut contact. Being shitty to someone who was shitty to you makes you also shitty. Seems like you would deserve each other, in my opinion.

That's what I have an automatic feeder for! Works great. :) Thanks for the concern, though. You're so thoughtful! You're not as bad as everyone else is saying. Don't let them get you down, little buddy. And keep working on those insults. This time, instead of smiling, I was taken aback - because it was so inane... so actually, not better, I guess. Ah well. Keep at it! :)

Nah, just bored on a Wednesday. Also, don't see how responding quickly equates to being delusional. A bit of a reach there, buddy. Overall, I think you're hilarious and find your pathetic outlook on life to be humorous. Thanks for the entertainment - it's like peeking in at a strange creature at the zoo. Every response, a tap on the glass to see the ridiculous reaction. Like... really, he actually flings his own shit everywhere? Gross! Funny, but gross. But I'm getting a little bored, honestly. …

Ooh, that was a little better! Still not insulted in the slightest, but I appreciate the effort at least! It's not every day I have a chance to interact with someone so tragically delusional, so thank you for the responses. :)

I'm a woman. Nice try, though. And hey, cute insults. They probably would hurt someone's feelings. Not certain who, but someone, I'm sure. Keep trying, you'll get it sometime. :)

Yeah, that's not abusive at all! ... Oh wait.

Fun, companionship, someone you can rely on, someone who will be honest with you, someone you can share your life with, laugh with... the list goes on. If you date shitty people, then yeah, you're going to have a shitty time. But based on your comment... no sane, mature, empathetic, well-adjusted woman is going to want to be with someone who thinks she is worthless. You are standing in your own way to happiness and have no one to blame but yourself.

Could be. Either way, it was certainly outdated and I'm glad it has been changed.

This law was from the 11th century, so I'm going to say no, they didn't. But nice try. :)

Well, I'm getting downvoted all over the place here so clearly I haven't vilified women enough in my comments. The fact that some women are against it is unfortunate. There are bad apples in every bunch.

How is a law made by men feminism's fault? Did a feminist group lobby to get it passed? Did a bunch of women vote it into law? I'm going to go with... Nope! Bad feminism does cause a lot of issues, I can certainly agree with you there! But this law definitely wasn't one of them.

No, there are certainly many differences between men and women. But to assume that women are always the caretakers/nurturers and men are always the breadwinners/providers is exactly how you end up with a law that exempts women from ever having to pay child support. Women and men can each do both roles quite effectively.

It does seem silly that you got banned for a comment in a different sub. But I think the point here is that it is actually ~the patriarchy~ that is the problem here. That's how the law was made in the first place, due to sexist views of the roles of men and women. Like I mentioned in my previous comment, I would highly doubt it was women who made the law. It was more than likely a group of dudes. Anyway, thank you for your respectful response. :)

I mean... do you think women made the laws stopping themselves from having to pay child support? The patriarchy hurts men and women both in different ways. True feminism is about equality for both genders, including in a situation like this where women absolutely should have to pay child support.

Sounds like you're advocating for tax fraud/tax evasion.

If your donations are earmarked for a specific person, you cannot write them off.
