I would say around 15? My dad was still holding my hand during drives up until I was 13. I remembering asking him why he did it and he said, "There will come a time where you'll never want to hold my hand again." - that hurt so I kept doing it. My mum was a bit of a drunken maniac. Still is kind of. She'd show love but at times be horrific. Still about 15.

Wait wait wait, The thing to remember and it applies to men and women, is that these stats are usually based upon official reports right? And those statistics only have value when someone has reported it. So it could be, statically, even further, 1 in 10 could be men, or 4 in 10 could be women. While I get that it's not entirely fair towards men, you can't deny that there are men out there that do hurt people on dates. There are women too but it is mostly women. The absolutely best idea would be two signs, on for men one for women but different drinks. Because that means it's sorted!!

I think this is a fetish thing not a domestic violence thing. Exact same thing happened to me. You need to be so careful. I had an accusation made because I didn't smile enough and one woman took it upon herself to lie and say I had touched her up. Yup as a victim of two separate assaults I can tell you here and now that even when I said it to an adult (not my parents I was ashamed and I thought they'd hate me, I was below 10 years old so I was stupid back then) and this adult told me I was being a fag. Now I know I should have kept my cool, but the vile things this woman was saying to any men who were trying to explain that it would be unfair for anyone of any gender going through this, was foul.
