Long haired lady here as well. Whenever it's down I'm damn near always playing with it, because it won't stay out of my face. Or, just because it feels nice

Please tell me this is sarcastic.

Oh god, lol. That is quite ridiculous.

Why? You'll be 30.

What's the point in bullshitting them? Why won't you just be upfront and honest about what you're doing and what your wants and "expectations" of the relationship are? That shit drives me crazy. If I'm flirting with a dude, or hanging/fucking/"seeing", when the conversation of "what is this/what are we?" comes up, I'm a blunt, to the fucking point type of woman. If I don't want to seriously date you, but I enjoy fucking you, I'll say so. If I like you enough to possibly take it more seriously, I…

This is very true. I realize it's common, but something has never sat right with me about it. I've tried to be a lot more understanding of it over the years, and there's always that little pang in the chest at the thought. I've done it once, and I just felt really horrible afterward.

Yeah, that part bothered me the most. I should rreally stop reading this subreddit, because I swear, it's killing any desire I have for a relationship. It's not comforting to know people pride themselves in fucking their partners while thinking of others.

It's still pretty disrespectful to your wife to be flirting with other women.

I gotta agree with you. It's a huge turnoff when people neglect their grammar. I've tried to look past it, but it just bothers me enough that it deters me from talking to a guy.

I was one of those virgins that just wanted to get it over with, nor did I want a relationship at the time.

she kept stressing how she just wanted to get it over with This is exactly why I lost my virginity at fourteen/fifteen. I was going to school in New York at the time, and "everyone was doing it." I've always a really sexual person, and wanted to finally start experience something that seemed so fun. Admittedly, my first few times, I had no idea what I was doing, and the guy had no idea what he was going.

Not for nothing, but a man I just let making a joke about potential children between us would just creep me the fuck out.

No, your theory on how people see each other is just flat out stupid. The stupid hurts, if anything.

Just don't do it. My best friend started dating my ex, in a short amount of time after we split. I lost her as a friend, him as a friend, and gradually the rest of my friend's because he would do nothing but shit talk me. Edit: This was over a year ago and I still have no friends.

In the times I've been hit on over the years by customers while working, it usually comes off as creepy or uncomfortable, and would make me feel unprofessional if I went along with it. This is exactly why you don't ask people out when they're on the clock. I won't say it's necessarily creepy, but it does make a lot of people uncomfortable, and it's kind of rude. You say "served" so I'm going to assume the person you're trying to pursue is a waitress/server. These people work for tips, so you cou…

Hah! I totally forgot about Buicks. Those things are fuckin' boats, man. I can see how those would be comfortable and spacious enough.

Same, haha. I always felt terrible for the guys. If it's cramped for me in a car, I know it's worse for them.

Pffft, I don't blame you. Trying in my Spectra was a nightmare. I feel like I'd have to have an SUV for it to be even remotely do-able.

6'5" sex on the back seat of a Dodge Neon That's damn near impossible for me at 5'10, dude. Tell me your secret.

Yeah. Women like that are probably the ones you don't want to spend much time on, anyway. Good for you! It's good to know not to do something like that. I used to actually see it happen a lot. I was just better at ignoring it, haha. It was a wonderful book, but I don't know if I'd pick it up and read it again. :) Then again, I don't typically read books more than a few times.

How do you relearn all of that and go from catching a thousand fish with your net to one man looking for his moby dick, sans vengeance. This made me laugh really hard, haha. Personally, I think if a guy who typically does pick-up is looking for a relationship, it may be time to ditch the clubs, and put sex on the back-burner. Relationships take a lot more patience and time to develop. There's no harm in keeping some of the "tips and tricks" you learn to keep a conversation going. But you have to…

I'm pretty on board with the "roll with the punches." It goes for both parties, really. That, and learning to read body language. I don't go out to clubs and such anymore. I generally ignored advances, because I recognized that most guys were trying to do, and I wasn't impressed. For me, being genuine and trying to have a good conversation will work way more in a guy's favor than trying to fake one just to get me into bed. By genuine I don't necessarily mean you have to be looking for more than …

I'm sure I would be. I'm surprised at half the women I read about on here. I can understand playful and teasing, because that IS a good way to get the ball rolling and such. But, I think OP's approach is just... Silly, especially since I've seen all of those lines on Reddit, and Facebook. I love playful and silly, but not mimic-ed in real life from the internet.

You're right about childish. Isn't the objective of most of the men in here to pick up chicks and bang them? I definitely don't associate jokes about Disney channel with sex with a guy who's trying to pick me up. I totally get what you're saying, but some of the things that pop up in this subreddit I just can't imagine would work on a girl over 14.

This happened to me morning of my date with a guy. Cancels saying he's sick, and asks about Saturday. Don't hear from him, text him Saturday morning saying I'd like to still go out, but Saturday wouldn't work. He replies he's just started seeing a girl. /sigh.

Fair enough. I think I was mostly put off by this because of how vague you were in your report. But, some women dig that stuff a lot. Still stands for me, though. You likely would've been slapped and kicked out of my bar/restaurant had you tried this on me. :p

From your [FR], I don't really see an agreement to you showing her. All I saw was an agreement to sitting near you. For me, my agreeing to sit near you is by no means an agreement for you to touch me. Had you reached out for my hair/back of my neck, your reach would've been interrupted REALLY quickly. Just something for you to keep in mind. For all I know, you could just write about these scenarios very vaguely. I wasn't there, and you don't speak about much of her body language. But from what y…

The kitchen I mainly work in you definitely wouldn't get too far. If it works, it works, though, haha. In the various kitchens I work in, we're all a really tight-knit group, and that usually includes the servers, too. One of my old cooks lost his job telling a guy essentially fuck off when he got a bit relentless with me.

I have to laugh at this, working in restaurant type environments. Being one of very few females in the environment, I never would've let someone trying to pull moves like this near me, ever. Guys doing this to me/female wait staff has resulted in many of my fellow cooks "nicely" telling them to leave. It's fine to flirt, but more than that while I'm on the job, and I'm going to ignore it. Job/career > a fuck.
