And you seem real bothered right now, which actually makes me feel pretty great.

You're free to live in whatever world you want to, just to protect your fragile sense of self righteousness dude.

I actually did get called out for wearing the same style of dress to weddings, not even the same dress. Yeah i can tell them to go fuck themselves, doesn't change the fact no one comments on my brothers wearing the same ill fitting suits they've had since their 20's.

Pfft, thats not even true. I have plenty of friends and family where its just the norm for the guy to put on weight (if he wasn't already heftier) after the relationship moved into serious territory. If the girl hasn't had a kid yet shes going to be thinner then her boyfriend/husband/partner. Now that i think about it, most young, childless marriages that I personally know is with a thin girl and a guy that has already started nursing a middle-age gut. And theres nothing wrong with that, the fir…

Now find me a tv sitcom, or pop culture relationship where the girl is plus sized and the guy fit and thin.

You know, you threw some statistics out there but didn't really source. So I can't really take it seriously compared to actually trying to be involved in a similar undustry. You also don't really sound like you're making an argument but are just being tenacious for the sake of nothing better to do.

You sound like a blast at parties...

Its not only males, but the majority is men. I didn't specify that they only target men. I just said they actually do research into what people want out of a game and are not just assuming.

That and they actually do panels to get an idea of what their target market want. Also, the majority of the character designers are male. Source: Im an illustrator with plenty of friends in character design and story boarding.

Female characters never feel as fully developed, and their voices are typically really annoying and high pitched, or too low and sultry (im thinking night elves in WOW). Also, depending on the game, female characters typically have less power/strength (ex. One on one fighting games). And obviously if there's a choice, depending on the game i'll play a girl since i obviously mentioned playing one in skyrim.

I'm a woman, and I don't even like playing women. Especially if it means i'm going to be watching a half naked ass running through missions. Except in skyrim....I femmed the shit out of skyrim.

Plus, all those guys are in action based games. It would be weird to see a character meant to be physically capable not in peak condition.

Seriously though? These games are mostly designed and geared towards guys more then girls. Also, It would be pretty weird to see all these characters that are meant to be very active, strong, or violent looking like the guy in the comic. A pudgy batman? Its not exactly in his character to let himself go. Now if this was a sims game...or something less action geared, then yeah...bring out the pudgy people.

This is awful, honestly the fiances response is what appalled me the most. But something funny that did happen....I saw this and immediately exclaimed, "What a little bitch!" (towards the fiance) my brother who was redditing with me immediately gave me the most scathing look and walked away to go make himself a leftover turkey sandwich.

Honestly, this was address in /r/funny or /r/gifs not too long back and one particular commenter made the excellent point that girls are programmed to think guy should always want sex. That men are completely absorbed by their sexuality and if a man rejects a women's attempts at seduction then its a personal blow not just that the guy may not be in the mood. I thought the comment was very well thought out and it really shows the flaws in how genders are raised to view sexuality.

I'm sorry about this, and her response, It's different. Men like it and women don't totally fills me with a rage. You obviously didn't like and its this ignorant idea that not only encourages girls to harass men but even convinces girls this is what men want. This mentality is also what makes it difficult for guys to admit when they do feel uncomfortable because then there is the chauvinistic harassing from other men who would see someone not wanting this kind of attention as self emasculating. …

I'm a little bit disgusted your comment makes the insinuation just because someone is not in a committed relationship in their 20s and 30s - when you are still young and beautiful Then we must be sleeping around And actually, thats exactly the problem, men don't care if we're educated and hard workers but we obviously care if they are because frankly, I'm not looking for a house husband, I'm looking for an equal intellectually and and with what they have achieved in life. I'm sorry if a couch po…

Thats a lot harder then it sounds. I feel like more and more of the women I know are educated and hard workers yet end up with guys that have spent the majority of their lives unemployed and don't value any form of higher education. Its really discouraging.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
